A look at the Nitto Recon Grappler all-terrain tire compared to the Nitto G3. The Recon is quieter than most all-terrains but not quite as quiet as the G3, and it needs only one to one-and-a-half ounces of weight to balance at 1200 pounds of pressure.

Now, these tires right here don't get enough love. This is the nitto recon grappler allterrain. So Nitto makes the nitto recon grappler and then the Nitto G3. Now, the Nitto G3 does have better wet traction. That's a personal preference. Some people like the recon, some people like the G3s. Now, my son is running the nitto recons on his truck, the reason being because he got 24s on it. Now, these things, just like a Nitto, is always going to balance out good. Now, like the other tires, Nitto does have a different sidewall on one side, and that's what that side there looks like. Now, still quiet tire. Not as quiet as the G3, but it's still quiet. Now let's go ahead and see how these things balance out. But you know what's next? We're going to take that damn sticker off. So this is not an LT tire. We're going to put that thing at SUV limits, all right? We got that thing spinning, and we gonna cut it. We ain't gonna edit. We're gonna show you exactly. That roller gonna come down, put that 1200 pounds of pressure on there, simulate it being on the vehicle so we're going to detect any vibration issues before it gets back on this truck here in a second. Now watch. I had only calls for an ounce of weight here, ounce and a half here, and only 15 pounds of force. People just spend the extra money for the better quality, man.
