This is a YouTube video titled "February 3, 2025" containing a single-speaker tire comparison review discussing tread depth, wet traction, road noise, and maintenance recommendations for the Nitto Mud Grappler and Gladiator X Comp MT tires. The speaker explains differences in tread design and advises on tire rotation but does not include multiple speakers or Mike Melton.
Do a tire comparison against the nitto mud grappler and then the X comp mt. I start with the tread depth. So the tread depth on The X Comp Mt, this is 1832. Now to the Nitto mud Grappler's got a 20, 30 seconds. So it's got a higher tread wear than this one does. Now we're going to compare the siphon. Now, these things got sipes in it, which. Which is give you a little bit better wet traction. Now, these here go about halfway down through the tread block. These here go about a quarter of a way down the tread block. So you can get better wet traction out of this one than you will that gladiator X comp mt. So now, a lot of you guys love that road noise. So if you like the road noise, the nitto mud grappler is definitely the way to go. It's a little bit noisier in this tire. Let me show you why. Now, the reason this tire is a little bit louder. The gap you got in between these. These side loads right here are a little lot wider than what the gladiator does. Now, next, a lot of you guys say, man, which one's going to wear out faster? Well, a lot of that depends on the truck. It goes on the terrain you're driving, on, how you're keeping them rotated, stuff like that. Now, mud tires, I'm gonna recommend you rotate these things about every 3,000 miles. That way you get some out of them. Now, which one of these tires would you choose? Put it in the comments for me.
