This is a YouTube video titled "Have You Tried The Cooper Ruggedtrek" featuring Mike Melton discussing the features and performance of a specific tire model. The content includes detailed explanations about tire siping, wet traction, and road force measurements, presented in an informal and instructional style. The video was created in May 2025.
We don't do a lot of these tires, but see, people seem to like these things. If you like them, put them in the comments, what you like and what you don't like about them. All right, so as you see, this thing's got tons of siping in there, a lot of zigzag siphon. The reason they do that, it helps get that better wet traction. So when you got zigzag sipes in a tire like this. So when you on wet rocks, stuff like that, it's going to help separate those, those lugs. It's going to help grip that wet rock. I'm gonna tell you that. That's a pretty good looking tire. Now by the looks of them. They. They look like they're gonna get a little noisy now. People said they, you're putting these things on that big brand new Hunter HD machine. So this machine's got a lot bigger lift on there. It's got a lot different rollers. So this roller still measures the amount of force, but it doesn't put 1200 pounds. It only puts 300 pounds. Because when you go to 10 plies and up, it measured a lot different. It measured, it measures it in radial run out. All right, so we're a little bit different here, man. You know, you got all that old sticky on there. You're gonna want to get that off of that customer. See what he's doing? He's taking that adhesive right there. Look at that. Cleaning that thing up. Now you already know. Take them damn stickers off, people. All right, let's go ahead, bounce this thing out right here. All right, so this hood's so big you can't see the roller, none of that stuff. So we're gonna bring it up under here and we're gonna show you. When that roller comes down there, you see that roller just come down on there? All right, the roller came off. This thing's only 3, 3 and 3/4 ounces right there. Look at that. Road force, baby. We the best.
