Sean and a co-trainer show tire shop staff how to greet customers and build personal connections. They emphasize introducing yourself and learning customer names to improve sales and service.
Alright, today we're going to talk about how to take care of customers when they come into your door. Alright? So this right here, Sean, he's my, my right hand man at the shop and he knows exactly how to take care of customers. So when a customer walks into the door, what is one of the first things that a salesperson should do?
We should first off, very, very important, we should greet that customer.
Always greet the customer.
Greet the customer. Always present yourself, give them your name, shake their hand and ask them their name in return. And after that, address them as their name.
What's the reason why? Getting. Why, why do you want to do that?
You want to make it more personal. You don't want to just be, you know, there for transactional purposes. You want to get to know that person, you want to build relationship with that person. Yeah, so.
So it's all about relationships, right? So you're never going to buy anything, you know, like say, say you need something, right? And you always want to ask a family member or friend, whatever, hey, do you know somebody works here? You know, somebody can get this whatever. The reason people do that is because of relationships. So when a customer walks into your door, you got to get their name, you got to shake their hand, you got to make them feel like you've known them for 20 years. That's the thing. Everybody is the same nowadays. You call a phone, everybody sounds the same. Hey, this is Bob's Tire.
