A short YouTube transcript of Mike Melton demonstrating a road-force test on BF Goodrich tires (Kota/KO2/KO3 variants), diagnosing vibration caused by a localized high road-force/hop and recommending discarding the tires. He criticizes recent BF Goodrich tires and shows measured road-force readings (examples: 44 and 39 pounds reported as high).

This guy been to six different places. They cannot get these tires balanced out. Well, as you can see what tires they are, it's the BF Goodrich Kotas. All right. As you see, there ain't no cupping. These things are still almost brand new tires. But like I always say, these things are always going to have vibration issues. BFG used to be a good tire. They're not anymore. So now let's go ahead and spin this thing out and see what kind of road force issues this thing has. All right, we got to spin it ain't hopping too much. We got that roller on. What that roller is doing is putting 1200 pounds of force from this tire, assimilating it being driven on that vehicle. Now the roller's coming off. Now look at that. £44 still. 39 is still way above. Now, you see that right there? That's where your hop's going to come into play. So every time it hits that one spot, that's where you feeling your vibration. So everybody that says, oh, man, you don't know what you're doing. The KO2s are trash. The KO3s are trash. That's why they still had to redesign the tire. Stay away from B.F. goodrich. So the only way to fix this problem, Throw these in the trash.
