This is a YouTube video titled "How to mount and balance wheels the right way #tires #training #leadership" created in March 2025. The content is an instructional demonstration focused on mounting and balancing expensive forged wheels on a 2023 Ford F150, emphasizing careful handling techniques to avoid damage and showcasing the use of specialized equipment and tire shine products.
I've got this 20, 23 Ford F150 in here for a new set of wheels. What are we putting on there? We're gonna be putting a set of awesome forged wheels on this thing. All right, let's go ahead and see what these things gonna look like. Man, that gold color on that white truck's gonna look good. We're gonna show you here shortly. All right, we're gonna be putting a set of 35, 1150, 20 Toyo open country at 3s on this thing. All right. So these are some very expensive wheels. You don't want to just use any kind of clamp on machine to do these wheels. So as you see, we clamped it from the center. No part is touching this wheel at all. You ain't going to damage it at all. All right, this guy took these wheels and had them ceramic coated. So we're going to protect that. Let me show you how we do it. All right, so we like to take extra precaution when it comes to mount some wheels. All right. Especially these very expensive wheels. So what I'm going to do takes a little blue cover, what this does. So when we're mount it keeps it from getting any kind of pace, any kind of little minor scratches, anything like that on the wheel. Alright. So as you see, we put that extra protection on there, it's wrapped around. So you ain't going to have no worries. No scratches, no paste on the wheel. All right. So now with this machine right here, this is a fully touchless machine. So what I'm going to do is bring this wheel in this way with just a push of a button. And we're going to go ahead and set this roller. Now. Everything's set. So now we're ready to mount this tire. Alright, now we got everything set up. We're gonna go ahead and mount this tire up right here. So go ahead and watch this machine. So this is fully touches, it's only on the outer part of the lip. There's nothing on top of that lip. So let's go ahead and mount that top bead right there. Now we're bringing it around to where the sensor is not going to get broke. So now we're going to take our helping arm. We're going to bring this roller down right here. As you see, there's still nothing touching that wheel. You're not going to damage that wheel. That's why you come to us to mount your very expensive wheels. We can take care of it. So now let's go and mount this other top beam. It's as easy as that. Let's go ahead and get everything out of the way. So now we're pulling everything out of the way. We'll take this little protective coating off right here. Now look at that wheel. There's not a drop of paste, not near scratch on the face of that wheel. As you see, we use that flange plate. We're bouncing by the lug holes that way. Nothing at all is touching that face of that wheel. All right, now let's go ahead. We got the road force set up. Let's go ahead and road force this tire. So these are some forged wheels. That means they're real light. Got that Toyo T3. Got the road force on this thing. Should balance out real good. All right, our roller's coming off. Let's see what we got right now. We had three quarters right there and only a quarter ounce right there. And we had 18 pounds of force quality. I always talk about it. All right. I've been telling everybody I'm coming out with my own tire shine. We about to shine these things up, show you what they look like. And this is no sling tire shine. All right, so what you got to do, you don't want to shake it. First I'm going to show you how to.
