This is a YouTube video titled "January 21, 2025" containing a discussion about issues with BFGoodrich KO2 tires, including vibration problems and wet traction concerns. The speaker explains testing results and mentions upcoming tire redesigns to improve performance. The content is a single-speaker technical explanation related to tire performance and customer feedback.
All right, let's talk about some of the issues we're starting to see with these BFGoodrich KO2s. So this customer came in, as you see, this tire is almost still brand new, whole set. He wanted to get a different set of tires because he could not get the vibration out of this truck. So what we did, we tested the wheels, we tested the front end on there, make sure everything was good. And we also tested a tire. So it came up three out of the four tires had out of round issues on there which was causing this vibration. So we put a set of Cooper's eight T3s on there. Instantly fix this problem. So the next issue is people are already seeing in the comments is the wet traction. So if you ever have issues with this tires not giving enough traction in the snow or rain, put it in the comments what your issues were. So this one here, they did redesign this tire. They haven't came out with the new yet new one yet, but it is coming out. So the water just gets caught up in all these tread blocks and it just sits right here and it doesn't dissipate out of the tread block. So it reduces the wet traction in this tire. They did improve that. They got bigger tread blocks in there. That's coming. So is the new one going to. Going to do a lot better than the Ko Ko 2? It's. We're going to have to see.
