Can I tell you something I learned the hard way? You know, for years I thought trauma always looked like, you know, just somebody crying or somebody breaking down or somebody just falling apart, but it don't. Sometimes trauma looks like working all the time, like me, always staying busy. Hell, I never slowed down till this day. Always chasing the next goal. That's exactly what I did, because if I stay busy enough, hell, I don't even have the time. I don't have time to think about what's hurting. But eventually life has its own way of making you face what you've been avoiding. The biggest lesson I learned, healing doesn't begin when you become stronger. Healing begins when you become honest. And being honest was one of the strongest decisions, hell, I ever made.
