This is a YouTube video titled "July 8, 2024" containing a single-speaker instructional demonstration on how to calibrate a balancer using a calibration weight. The speaker explains the step-by-step process of placing the weight and running the calibration to ensure the equipment is balanced properly.
This is one thing we do every morning that most shops should, but they don't. So this right here is a calibration weight that the manufacturer gives us with the balancer to make sure these things are always in balance. All right, so when you cut on the balancer now, it says, I have completed maintenance or you calibrate now. So of course we're going to calibrate it. So to start it, you got to make sure that nothing is on the machine, not even that calibration weight. So now we're going to lower the hood and we're going to start the calibration process. Now it's going to spin. Right now all we got to do is lift the hood and we're going to take this calibration weight and we're going to put it right here where this laser is and we're going to put it to 12 o'. Clock. All right, now that that's on there, we're going to enter it where it's in the 12 o' clock position. Once it's lower hood and we're going to spin it again. I see that calibration weight is on there. We're spinning it. All right, so now we're going to do the opposite. We're going to take that calibration weight from the. From the left side and we're going to put it on the face plate. All right, so now we move it from here onto this side. So you see the weight's on the opposite side now.
