Mike Melton demonstrates a Road Force balancer that applies 1,200 pounds of pressure to tires to find vibration problems before mounting. The tire he tests shows half-ounce runout readings, well below the threshold, so it passes. He then moves on to patching an old tire brought in for repair.

If you're not familiar with my content, this is a Road Force balancer. It's got a roller. This roller is going to come down and put 1,200 pounds of force on the tire, simulating it being driven on the vehicle. So it's going to diagnose any kind of vibration issues so we can fix those before it goes on the vehicle. So here in just a second, it's going to come off and it's going to give us our runout ratings. So here we go, roller's coming off. So it's only asking for half ounce here, half ounce here, and we're below the threshold. Everything's green. That's what you want to see. That way that thing rides smoother than a Cadillac, son. All right, we got the panty dropper in here, son. All right, this is what he came in for. He came in for old tire repair, so we're gonna patch her up.
