A shop manager assigns technicians to three bays and explains the lead tech role: they control timing, own any problems, and report to the manager. Tyler leads Bay 1, Morgan leads Bay 3, and someone covers Bay 2 while Riker is at lunch.
So I got bay 1, I got Caleb, uh, Tyler, and Fish. Tyler's our lead tech for bay 1. Okay. Bay 2 has Dutch, uh, Cohen, and Jacob Slatton on it right now. Yeah, it was Riker and he was the lead tech, but I'm watching over this one until Riker gets back from lunch.
Okay, cool.
And then bay 3, I have Aiden Bailey, Morgan, and Boston. Morgan's the lead tech for that bay. Okay, so basically I made all the lead techs, they're, uh, responsible for the timing on the car. Everything. And if anything goes wrong, it's on them. Then they come to me, or I come to them, and figure out why.
Okay, and then we fix it right then, right? Fix it right then. Put a scan over here. Look, look, this is what you guys need to be doing. Make sure you're keeping your shops clean.
