A man in a sauna, consumed by suicidal thoughts, gets a call from his son who says "Dad, I love you." The words break through. He kneels to pray, asking God to save him for his family, and commits to being the loving father he never had.
I'm gonna try to get through this the best I can. So it was about a month ago, I was in the sauna at the gym having real bad thoughts, and those thoughts was I wasn't gonna be here that day. After that day, I wasn't gonna be here no more. So as I'm sitting in the sauna, I get a phone call. It's my son. So we have a short conversation. And at the end of that conversation, he says, "Dad, I love you." And we got off that phone call, I got out of that sauna, and for the first time in my life, I dropped down to my knees and I prayed. I prayed for God to take the crazy thoughts out of my mind. So I wouldn't do the wrong thing to myself so I could be here for my family, for my wife, for my daughter, for my son. That's the day that my son actually saved my life, and he don't even know it. But when he sees this video, he will know it. So my son did save my life that day just because of those words, those 3 words: I love you. See, I was never shown love as a kid, and that's my biggest regret. Now I'm trying to show all that to my kids, to my wife, so I can be that better man, be that person there for them. So if you ever have those thoughts, be that guy who just prays that day.
