This is a YouTube video titled "Nitto Ridge Grappler VS High Country RT" containing a detailed product comparison by Mike Melton, recorded in February 2024. Mike Melton discusses the differences between the Nitto Ridge Grappler and High Country RT tires, focusing on features such as side cleats, stone ejectors, sidewall ply, warranty, and traction.
Alright, let's do a comparison on the Nitto ridge grappler and the high country RT right now. So the biggest difference is let's look at these side cleats. They're a lot smaller on this one and on the Nitto they're a lot larger. So that's going to give you better biting edge on the trails. Also the nitto's got more stone ejectors on the inside of these treads and on the outsides. On the Prince it's only on the the outers, none on the inside. Right. Also the Prince only has a two ply sidewall. The ridge grappler is a three ply sidewall. So it's going to help, you know, so if you get sticks and stuff on the sidewall of that tire, it's going to help prevent them from going into the sidewall. Compared to this one's going to be a little bit easier. This one has a 50,000 mile warranty on it. This one also has a 50,000 mile warranty on it. This one here is going to be a little bit softer compound so it's going to give you better traction off road than this tire would. Now they're still going to last about the same because Nitto has, you know, their tire compounds that they have, the silica compounds compared to this tire is going to be a lot less. Okay.
