Mike Melton compares Nitto and Toyo MT tires, which are made by sister companies in the same Georgia plant. Both come in identical sidewall designs and prioritize off-road grip and looks over wet weather performance. Either one is a solid choice.

All right, this is the big debate. Is the Nitto MT or the Toyo MT? Which one's better? Well, a lot of y'all don't know these are sister companies. Toyo and Nitto are sister companies. Now these are made in the exact same plant down there in Georgia. One's on the upper level, one's on the lower level. So when people ask me, well, which one's better? Well, I'm gonna tell you, it really boils down to your damn looks. This is what I run on my daily right here. I've ran these on my daily before. Now you don't run these tires for good wet traction, you run these tires for off-road traction and just really to look good. That's what most of people run these two tires for. Now let's do a side comparison to them. So here's the sidewall of the Nitto right here. This is the one that most people go with, but a lot of people don't know Nitto has two different sidewalls. So here's sidewall one, and that's sidewall two. Now the Toyo has the exact same sidewall. There's sidewall 1 and there's sidewall 2, the exact same. Now when it comes down to road noise, they are basically the same. So if you're looking for either the Toyo, this is it, hell of a damn tire, or you want the Nitto, hell of a damn tire. Either way, you can't go wrong.
