Short YouTube clip (Mike Melton with another speaker) explaining a Nitto tire recall. The recall is due to belt separations from the belt manufacturing/gluing process; Melton warns the issue affects only certain tires and DOT dates and instructs viewers to check the DOT code on their tire sidewall (example shown: 2925) and to screenshot a forthcoming list of affected DOTs.

What the hell is going on with.
This nitto tire recall?
Now, before all y' all get your panties in the wall, let's go over it. Now, this is only isolated to certain, certain dot dates and certain tires. And here, shortly I'm gonna put up here so you can screenshot all the tires with the dot dates. That way you can check yours. So the recall has to do with the belt manufacturing process. So what it is, when they go through and put all the belts together, I'm gonna dumb it down for you. Put all the belts together and they glue everything together. Some of these are separating apart. So it could be the full separation or, or minor separations. So if you do have any of these tires with these dot T dates, it is a serious situation. So you definitely need to look at what I'm going to post. Check your dot dates on the side of the tire. And I'm about to show you how to do that.
All right, so you get your tire, see where it says dot, you're going to read the whole dot number and see it says 2925. Read this whole dot number and reference your tire compared to what I'm going.
To post and.
You'Ll see exactly if it's a affecting your tires or not.
