She Dont Need No Man ❗️

Mike Melton teaches how to change a tire, with a specific tip for women: step on the lug wrench and lean against the car to loosen the nuts. He emphasizes starting lug nuts on 6-7 threads to avoid cross-threading and tightening in a star pattern to about 100 lb-ft of torque.

All right, we're about to teach him how to take a spare off and put his regular tire on there, find his jacking point. All right, for one, you take your jack and you find your jack point right here. Now you take your rod and you put it on this thing right here. Now you just make sure that thing's all the way tight, that way the damn jack will jack up. Now we jack the damn car up. All right, we're almost there. Now I know what you jack legs gonna say, are you sure to loosen those up before you jack it up? Well, listen, this car has got the parking brake on, so we're good to go. All right, so you take this tool right here. What this is, you see right there, is designed to go right there. So now what we're going to do, we're going to loosen that thing up. See that right there? Just turns it. So if you're a woman, you ever can't get it, look, take it, just step right here on it and lean yourself against the car, and then you'll be able to push that down. So as you take it, look, you just lean it down. All right, let's show us what I just taught you. Now go ahead, do it. Get that leverage in there. There you go. That's how you teach a woman how to do it herself. Now she's going to take all the lug nuts off. We're going to show her how to put this back on there correctly. Now she's going to pick it up and she's going to line those threads up with the holes. She's going to get— look at that, got it right on there. Now she's going to start some lug nuts. All right, so you always start the lug nuts around 6 or 7 threads that way you don't cross-thread the lug nuts. And there's another thing you want to look out for. So when you put a lug nut on there, see, there's a seat. It's called a conical seat. Some people put it on there flat, just like that. Don't do that. Make sure that conical seat is sitting inside that wheel. See, it's got that beveled edge. All right, now we ain't gonna tighten it all the way. We're just gonna get it on there. All right, we're gonna do this in a star pattern, that way everything gets on there even. So what I told her is, going to start a pattern, get everything down there, and put your body weight on there. These things only require about 100 pounds of torque. Now, right now she's got everything on there, right? I double-checked it for her, make sure everything's good. So now you gotta do is take this out and you're gonna put this here. Now we're gonna let the car down. Watch this right here. Look at that, car's down, jack's out, she's changed, she's ready to go.
