Sean trains tire shop staff on sales and customer service. He covers relationship building with customers, quality control during installation and balancing, and how to handle the operational side of running a shop efficiently.
We're gonna be spinning some fire. Watch the video, hit a pothole. Now you got to kick out 300. You're aggravated, you're on your way home, and you still got to kick out $300 retired because you didn't pay 20 for this warranty. I'm making you think about it. All right, cool. How did you hear about it? So start to build that relationship, right? So before you even get any sales, a lot of people just go straight to sales. Build that relationship, take a little bit more time. Build that relationship. Yeah. So like me, you have to be obsessed with sales. And the reason you have to be upset, sales, you have to get better every day because that customer has the money. They're in here to buy. They're not here to fucking come look at your wall, right? They're in here, they got the money. They're ready to buy something. They're not coming here just to talk to you most of the time. Of course, you're gonna have some window shoppers, but let's qualify those window shoppers. Hey, you know, like, all right, cool. I'm looking for tires. Are you planning on getting tires today? You know, are you looking for getting tires today or something? Like, you just ask questions, right? You always have to ask questions and respect. And people understand that you have moral authority. It's like, you look a certain way, you live a certain way. Like, they watch you and they want to be you. That's moral authority. You learn a lot of stuff. We're gonna be learning how to sell like a pro. We're gonna. We're gonna learn how to master any customer objections, right? Any. Any objections that you get. We're gonna help you master that, right? Kill off the old. You shoot that some in the head, right? You have to get better, and you have to train every day, 365 days a year. You can't just train sometimes you have to train every day. That's the only way you get better. Like I said, LeBron James, you think he don't play basketball? Every day, seven days a week, he plays basketball. Do y' all know anything about. I don't watch sports, but I learn very successful people what they do. What time does LeBron James get to the game? Say the games at 7 o' clock at night. What time do you get to the. To the court? No, nah, he's there that morning. He's practicing all day before that game. That's. That's a fact. I've studied him and Michael Jordan, everybody, they're there way Early. Way early. They don't have to be. They're the best. Right? But why are they there early? They're there before anybody else gets there. They're going to make sure they're better than anybody else. They can't lose their edge. Once you lose your edge, boom, you're done. Wonderful day. It's all about the customer. It's not about you. Right, well, stop making it about you and make it about the customer. That's. That's where you win. That's where you start to win. Like us. We're like, you know, hope you're having a wonderful day. This is Mike and Speedy. How can I serve you today? Right? How can I serve you? Right? And before we get off the phone, it's always my pleasure. Always my pleasure. They're like, oh, man, these guys are different. Right? I'm coming there. That's right. Where did Chick Fil a get that from? Do you know? All right, I do. So they got it from Ritz Carlton. All right, so Ritz Carlton, that's. That's where the guy's wife got it from. From Ritz Carlton. So she brought some of their values into their company, and that's why they're so successful. So that's customer service. So it's different. Right? Before we get back to the video, listen, if you're trying to really level up your company, I mean, really level it up, give me a text. 704-617-7848. Listen, I'll help you with whatever you need. I got you back. Let's get back to the video and build the value. So what is different from y' all compared to your competitors here? How do you build your value before going into selling? How do you answer the phone again? Okay, call five shops today, this morning. I bet you they answered the phone the same way. You got to be different. Not saying you. You know what I'm saying, But you got to be different. So a lot of times customers have their. Have like, a little block of. Because they're so used to getting screwed over or, like, being lied to by other shops and stuff like that. Just disarm them. So how do you do that? You let them know that you're here to take care of them, and you're here to give them world class customer service. Listen, you know, it's 90 days, no interest, six months or whatever. Whatever it was, right? You know, this. These are pennies on the dollar every month, you know, but you're look. Look at the outcome. You're gonna have this truck's gonna look better, it's gonna ride better, is retained. Anything and everything I do, I make notes all the time. So everybody should have notes. But people don't have access to me. I. My people know, hey, if it's really important, they'll. I'll call them later. I don't just let people have access to me at all. I. I got. I'm too busy. I mean, there's some people do. Yeah, I mean, if he's off, he's off. If he's busy, you just got to let him know he's busy. But like, people, like, I get so many calls for me, and they. People just want to talk to me. It's too much for me. So I'm not easily accessible. And once you start to get higher, higher, you just, you can't make yourself as accessible. Right. Because people just take advantage of it. You have to be different from everybody else. So when, when customers call your phone, what do you sound like? You answer the phone or no, like, give it to me, I'm calling. Don't matter. Morning, afternoon. I'm calling you right now. Good morning. Thank you for calling Tires to Go. How can I help you? Yeah, I'm looking for some tires. You see what's went wrong already got to give me your name. So what's your name? And get their name and always write down their name. Right? So that's how you're building that relationship. Instead of just going right into sales, get. Give them your name and. And it's like, who. Who do I have the pleasure with? Right. Pleasure speaking with. All right. We've been here in Tampa past couple days. Everybody knows that. So we've been here at Tires to Go in Tampa, Florida. So this is my guy Sean, right here. So what have we been going over some of the training, just letting these guys know. We have been training with Speedy about roll force tire installation, how to make sure that everything's going out, quality control, making sure we're providing the best service and building that trust with our customers and keeping standards out. Because everybody knows I'm high on standards, right? Yes, sir. So we're going to definitely go ahead and certify this guy. So if you're in Tampa or around Florida area, wherever this guy can go ahead and do your road force balancing, you ain't going to have any issues. Just make sure you come here and ask for Joseph. He is the man. When it comes to road force balancing tires, you ain't going to have no issues at all. And if you need a big custom built truck. They can handle that too. Listen, you already made it to the end of the video. You are the 1% who's ready to level up that company. Listen, all you got to do is give me a text. 704-617-7848. Listen, I'll help you with whatever you need. I got you back. Just give me a text.
