Mike Melton shows the right way to balance tires using road-force equipment, which most shops skip. He demonstrates on Toyo 33/12.50/20s, applying a three-ounce weight after the roller simulation. Proper training matters more than people think.

All right, so whoever balanced these tires last, man, you guys have got to get trained properly. All right? So this guy came in there for a new set of Toyo at 3s. These are 33, 12, 50, 20s. I just want to show y' all the kind of bouncing work that some of these shops do. It's crazy. So we're gonna bounce it the right way. So for starters, we always road force. You gotta road force. If you don't have this equipment, man, just go to another shop. Don't even go there. So we got it on lt. Lt. Now let's go ahead and roll the forces these tires, all right? So before we spin it, I want to go ahead and show everybody, look, there is zero weight on this wheel. Zero weight. Now let's see how these things balance out. Of course, we got that roller. The rolls puts pressure on that tire, simulates it being being on the vehicle itself. All right? The roller's gonna come off. So this thing's only going to call for three ounces. Right here, we're gonna put three ounces. So all that is this is those three right there. These guys, whoever's bouncing these wheels, y', all, y' all gotta get trained. I'm sorry. Y' all just don't know what you're doing.
