This is a YouTube video titled "Turning Rust Into Riches The Classic Car King" featuring a discussion between Wes, the company owner, and another speaker about a fully restored 1968 Mustang with detailed specifications and modifications. The content focuses on classic car restoration and performance enhancements, recorded in July 2025.
Here's a 68 Mustang's been totally restored from top to bottom since the interior look at. I mean, this thing's like a brand new car and it's a 1968. There ain't a thing that hasn't been touched. So of course, you know, we got them slicks on there because this thing got plenty of power in there. This thing's got 600 horsepower. It's got 505 to the rear wheel. That's what it dyno did. This thing's no 427.
Yeah. So this is probably one of my. My pride and joy cars. I built for a good buddy of mine, Dustin, back in the day. 68 Fastback did a full cantilever suspension. Suspension in the back, 9 inch. Curry rear end. Full hooker attack exhaust. It's all controlled by an active valve in there. Tremex 6 speed with a sequential shifter. All stainless steel exhaust rack and pinion steering. 427 small block, boss block. Makes about 600 crank horsepower.
Definitely got a raptor matter. Keeps. Keep some things cool. Keeps the engine cool.
Up in here. Full total control suspension or control arms in there with the suspension. Wilwood brakes, Griffin radiator.
Got plenty of oil. Keep that. Keep that engine lubricated.
We spare no expense on this one.
Yeah. So right here, this is Wes. He owns the company.
