A tire shop coach explains what wears out tires faster: low pressure, skipping rotations, and suspension problems. These issues also cause road noise that customers complain about.
Today I'm gonna go over what makes your tires wear out a lot faster than they should and make road noise. Right. So let's start with what makes them wear out faster. Oh, in the center part of your tread. If your tires are wearing out just in the center, that means you got way too much air pressure in those tires. If your tires are just wearing out on either this side or this side and not in the center, that means you don't have enough air pressure in the tires. And if you're not getting your miles out of your tires, you got to make sure that you're rotating them. We recommend every 5,000 miles. You can do it five to 7,000, some people say, but it's easier to keep up with every 5,000 miles. Now, when it comes to tires cupping, there's a couple of things that make you tires cup. It could be worn suspension parts. And a lot of times when, you know, say, if it's a truck tire, a lot of these guys are put hauling heavy weight, you know, like you skid steers, like heavy boats or whatever it may be. And, and what it's doing is instead of your truck sitting like this, your truck sits like this a little bit, and it's not keeping enough pressure on those tires, and your front's kind of hopping a little bit, and.
