This is a YouTube video titled "What’s it Like Owning A SEMA Truck" featuring a monologue by a single speaker discussing the experiences and challenges of owning a custom lifted SEMA truck, including maintenance costs, rock chips, and misconceptions about sponsorship. The content was created in May 2025.
What's it like owning a lifted SEMA truck? Well, one, every time you drive this truck, everybody either stares at you, they want to take videos of the truck, which is cool. The other thing, if you don't wash your truck yourself, it's pretty expensive. So to, you know, do the basic in and out detail. This truck's about $200 now. If you want to do a full detail, it's more money. Another thing, rock chips. Everybody hates rock chips. So when you have something that's fully custom painted like this, you get aggravated as soon as you get a little, small, little rock chip. That's. I don't like to drive this truck as much. Now when I have gotten rock chips, of course, I go and I. I take care of it, right? Then I get it fixed. Now, some of y', all, with these trucks, y' all go with some of the cheapest products. And that's why you have like wires hanging down or stuff isn't working right. Well, I have the absolute best of everything on this truck, so I already know what you're going to say. Oh, you're sponsored. You get it all free. Nah, I do not. I'm not sponsored by nobody. I pay for everything. That's how I've done it from day one. So if you want to know more about how it's like to drive this truck, just DM me, I'll let you know.
