Which Tire Is Best tire for Your Truck

A breakdown of four truck tire types: highway tread, all terrain, hybrid, and mud terrain. Each has different tread life, noise levels, and traction. Pick based on where you actually drive.
Alright, which one of these four tires are going to be the right tire for your truck? So let's start with the highway tread. Now highway tread is always going to give you the longest tread life and the quietest tire and usually the the best wet traction. And then you're going to step it up to an all terrain. Now this is going to give you better off road traction, still going to give you great wet traction. It's going to be a little noisier than your highway tread tire is. And the reason why this tire is a little noisier than a highway tread. As you see the, the shoulders on it's open, these are closed. That's what's going to reduce that road noise. All right, now we're going to step it up to the hybrid tire which is the Nitto Ridge Grappler. So the Nitto Ridge Grappler is in between an all terrain and a mud terrain. So it's going to give you the best of both worlds. And of course this one's going to be a little bit noisier than an all terrain tire and not give you as good as wet traction. Now we step it up to the mud terrain. Now this is the mud grappler. Now a lot of people buy this tire just for the looks or mud tires in general, just for the looks. But if you need to get out in the trails, just this is one you want to go with. You get stuck in the mud holes. You definitely want to go with something like this because it's got all these extra biting edges.
