Why is this tire so popular? #ford #popular #gladiator #mud

A mechanic explains why certain mud tires work best on Ford trucks, covering tire selection, balancing techniques, and road force testing to help you choose the right setup for your F150.
Got coming in with this F150. What we putting on there? Well, he don't wore out these mud grabs. He got his life out of those things. We've been stocking a lot of these right here. So we're gonna go with these 35, 12, 50, 20 x comp MTs right there. Now, these things are pretty popular with a lot of guys around here and a lot of guys around the country. So everybody knows how aggressive these mud graphs always are. Sweeter decided to go with these gladiator mts because they just as aggressive, totally different look, but they gonna give him what he wants for about half the cost. Now, these things always balance out really good for us. Now, let's see what this set right here does. Now, I see a lot of you shops put a cone and y' all front comb that wheel, right. That is not the right way to do it at all. The absolute best way is to balance it by the lug holes. Another thing I always see, you lie. You shops keep the stickers on, man. People don't want that stuff all up in the trend. Take the damn stickers off. All right, now, you normally don't road force a mud tire, but we're going to show you because you always like to see it. But. All right, let's lower this hood. Get it going. All right, we got that thing spinning. It's all true. Look at that. All right, we got that roller about to come down. Put some pressure on there. Now, keep in mind, this is a mud tire. It's going to call for a little bit of weight. All right, now, this thing's got 28 pounds of force threshold. 35, you're good to go. We got three quarters of an ounce here going on the clip on 5 ounces on the inside. That ain't too bad for a big old mud tire. Like I said, these things ain't made to be riding totally smooth. That's why you don't use that road force.
