This is a YouTube video titled "Why would somebody do This ? #tires #wrong #bigwheels #chevy" containing a single-speaker English video from January 24, 2025, demonstrating how to identify and correct the mounting direction of directional tires on a truck, including a practical tire installation using a machine.
Got a big old 2500 in here. You got a lot of wheel space. Now, I think he needs a little bit bigger tire. But there's one thing on this truck. There's something wrong. Let's go take a look. So these tires are directional. You see that right there? This one's going the right way. This one's going the right way. This one's going the right way. Now, who in the hell would mount the tire backwards? Now, there's a couple ways you can tell if the tire is going backwards or not. It's going. You got a left side, and you got a right side. When you got directional tires. All right, there's one way you can tell. Always on the side of the tire, it's going to say rotation. See, it's going this way. That means it's backwards because it's on the passenger side. Now, another way you can tell is just by looking at the tread. You can tell that tread is moving that way. So it needs to be flipped around so it's facing forward. All right, now we got this thing in the right direction. Let's go ahead and put this thing on. Let me show you how easy it is on this machine right here. That's done. So we're going to do this. No edit. Just watch. Show you how easy it is with this machine. Now we're gonna bring this. Got the roller down. Now we got the helping arm down. Go ahead and come on with it. It's gonna be that easy. Just like that. What size this tire? 35, 13, 50, 26.
