In this instructional demo, Mike Melton (joined by a second speaker) showcases the Hunter TCX51M mobile tire machine, emphasizing its suitability for mobile tire businesses and space‑constrained shops. He walks through the machine’s key design features—center clamp instead of ram clamps, top and bottom rollers that break beads without a shovel, bead‑massaging capability to release trapped air, a polymer sleeve that protects wheels from scratches, and a press/helping arm for handling stiff tires. Mike demonstrates setting the rollers, breaking and rolling the beads, using the press arm, and quickly mounting/dismounting the polymer sleeve. He highlights the operational benefits (preventing wheel damage, improving ride quality, handling tough tires) and the economic advantage of renting the unit for about $12 per day, arguing that the rental cost is easily recouped. The video targets tire shop owners and mobile tire service operators looking for efficient, compact equipment.

If you have a mobile tire company or you have a tire shop that's limited on space, you need to definitely look at this machine right here. So this is the Hunter TCX51M, and that M stands for mobile. But it doesn't matter if you don't have a truck, you can still use this in your shop. There's a couple good things on this machine. Number one is center clamp, not ram clamps. You got a top roller and a bottom roller. These are made to break the beads itself, so you're not having to use a shovel, which could damage the wheel if the guy slips. And another big thing is the seat. And another big thing is bead massaging. So that's what we do a lot of times. So bead massaging is when you got air trapped in between the wheel and the tire that's causing a lot of run out. You can actually massage that bead, get that air out of there. It's going to give you a much better ride. Now let's go ahead and put this thing in action. See how to show you how this thing works.
Yep.
All right. Now let's put this thing in action.
So we're going to set our dimension. Set both rollers, set it down to the edge of the wheel. We're going to tap that in just. Aight.
Now we set the roller. We're good to go. It's already set to the dimension of the wheel.
Once we get above the edge of the wheel there, we're going to break that bead.
Now we roll that bottom bead.
We need to indent. We can indent.
There you go.
Get that bottom bead down. Once you do that, we're going to look at the upper. We can drop it down, indent on the bead bundle, go down. We're doing that past the sensor, and we're going to get that roller up out of the way. It automatically detents. And we're going to move that.
So now I know what y' all saying. He's going to scratch a wheel. Now he's got a polymer sleeve on that thing. Stick it in there just like that. No scratch, no customer complaining, no having to spend money out of your pocket. So now let's go ahead and mount her back up. Just as easy as dismount it. We're going to show you how easy it is to mount these things. All right, B's done. Now we come over here on that wing. So now this tire is flexible, right? So say you got a stiffer tire. That's when you're going to come over here and you use that, that tool right there, which is going to be your pressing arm, right? Now, this is where the press arm, the helping arm gets in place. Now, if you got a real stiff tire, that's what you're going to want to use to keep that thing up under that drop center so you ain't tearing the beads. Now, these things are pretty inexpensive. For $12 a day, you can get these machines. It's going to make you way more than $12 a day, so tell me you can't afford it.
