Consume - Google Data Studio - AgileData Gone in 60 Seconds

Welcome to another Gone in 60 Seconds. Today I want to show you a new feature we added where we enable the Data Magician to go from a tile within the catalog out to Google Data Studio to query the data. So if we look at the catalog, as you'll see, we've got a bunch of tiles, tiles, either a table or a view of data, and we see some purple tiles here. These are the consumable tiles, the data that's been automatically put together so that it can be queried by any user in the organization who has authorization. Authorization to access that data. So we've got a bunch of tiles here with data in it, and I'm going to go look at, say, the tile around Shopify customer places order. So what I'm able to do is click on the additional menu and I see a new option down there saying Explorer Data Studio. If I click on that, what it's going to do is open up Google Data Studio, which is Google's no-license reporting tool. I gotta say it's pretty good for the fact that there's no license and it's gone away, connected Google Data Studio dynamically to the data in Agile Data and brought it back. And a new feature of Google Data Studio that came out a couple of days ago was it has a quick guess at what type of data you want. So it creates a table, a bit of a graph. At any time I can go and just grab another field. So I can say grab last name and I can, you know, drag it onto the report. And give myself self-service reporting. So really nice way of being able to explore your data. One of the key things about that for us is it meant that we didn't have to go build out an entire reporting tool. We can just magically hook up Google Data Studio to Agile Data and everything works in a simply magical way. So that was another Gone in 60 Seconds. Catch you all later.
