10 Reasons Why Christian Leaders Should Become a Certified Christian Life Coach

In this live video, licensed therapist, life coach, speaker, and minister Shakeeta Torres welcomes viewers, announces the opening of enrollment for her Certified Christian Life Coach program (closing next Thursday at 11:59 PM EST), and promotes her upcoming free speaking engagement on June 3, 2025 in Raleigh (virtual and in‑person). She then walks through ten compelling reasons why Christian leaders—pastors, ministers, nonprofit founders, marketplace mentors, and anyone who guides others—should become certified Christian life coaches. The reasons cover the need for structured tools beyond informal mentoring, preventing burnout through boundaries, clarifying God‑given assignments and niche, building sustainable ministry‑business models, discipling with strategy rather than emotion, expanding influence beyond the pulpit, birthing God‑given visions via her Power Purpose Academy, harvesting tangible fruit (including financial returns), grounding the coaching journey in the biblical parable of the sower (Mark 4:14‑20), and understanding the three program tiers (certification only, group‑coaching development, and one‑on‑one mentorship). Throughout, she shares personal anecdotes, scriptural insights, and practical advice, urging listeners to obey God’s call, invest time and resources, and join the program to grow spiritually and professionally.

There we go. Welcome, welcome, welcome to Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram. So happy Thursday, happy Thursday. Thank you all for those who are already on, I really appreciate it. Um, if you don't mind, in the comment section let me know where you're tuning in from. You can put hashtag your state, you can put hashtag me, I'm in North Carolina, you can put hashtag New York, hashtag wherever you are, put it in the comment section. If you come back to see this later, be sure to put hashtag replay in the comments as well on all my platforms, and I will definitely respond to you, um, answer any questions that you may have. Alrighty, so while we wait for a moment or two for people to tune in, I want to make two, um, quick announcements first. But first, let me show you who I am because I have been getting a lot more new followers and also my email list continues to grow almost every day. Um, and so my name is Shakeeta Torres. I'm a licensed therapist, I'm a life coach, I'm a speaker, I'm a minister, uh, but most importantly, I'm a daughter of God. And I just love ministry, I love people, and I wear several different hats, but it's all for the kingdom. Okay, um, and so the first thing I want to say is that if you're interested in becoming a certified Christian life coach, enrollment is officially open, you guys. It's officially open. And it will be open for one more week. Enrollment closes next Thursday, um, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. Okay, so be sure to go check that out. I'll put the link here in the comment section. Also, if you're on Instagram, you can go and look at my bio to get that link, or just comment down below, I'm interested, and I would DM that link to you as well. Okay, um, also once you join the program, you automatically get access to Modules 1 and Module 2, and you'll go ahead and be able to get started because we have our first class on May 22nd. And May— Modules 1 and Modules 2, they're very robust, okay? So you're gonna get a lot of information in there, and I want you to be able to have everything done by the time we meet for our first class, okay? So People already enrolling, they already doing their homework, um, people already in the Facebook group. And so I am super excited because this cohort is, is special, is special. And guys already speaking to me about some of them in reference to what it is that they're going to give birth to, okay? Um, and so without further ado, the next, um, announcement I have is that I am speaking in Raleigh on June 3rd, 2025 I'm at 8:30 AM Eastern Standard Time. It is free for anyone to attend. It is virtual and also in person, and I'm speaking through, um, C-Suite for Christ. Okay, it's a big organization. They have chapters, and I'm all over the world. Um, the founder is Paul, and I joined their speakers bureau a few months ago by the leading of the Holy Spirit, and it has been amazing. I've been able to meet some amazing people. I've been on their podcast. I write for their blog or news articles on LinkedIn as well. And so it's been an amazing experience thus far. I just met with the organizer of the Raleigh chapter. Was it Monday or Tuesday? Monday. Yeah, Monday around lunch. And he and I talked for about 45 minutes. It was so great. I'm just sharing with him, you know, what God gave me as far as the message for the people. Um, it was, it was amazing. And so the topic is, um, about anxiety, and it's called Be Anxious for Nothing. And the Lord gave me very specific, um, word, um, to share with them, to encourage them. So, um, it's about all together, everything is about 2 hours long. I'mma get together, fellowship, um, have worship, and then we, you know, had the word come forth from me. Um, I'll be doing kind of a little PowerPoint, PowerPoint presentation, okay? And then they have fellowship after that. It's amazing. And so if you are in the Raleigh area, um, once again on June 3rd, on a— I think it's on a Wednesday— no, yeah, on Wednesday, um, at 8:30 AM in Raleigh, North Carolina. And again, it's, um, either virtual or you can, um, watch it and go in person as well. Okay, so I put the link to that as well in just a moment if you're interested in registering for that. All right, so without further ado, I'm going to go ahead and get into tonight's topic, and it's called 10 Reasons Why Christian Leaders Should Become Certified Christian Life Coaches with me. Okay, with me, of course. Okay, um, and so we had an interest meeting last Thursday. Um, it was amazing as well. Um, you know, God was speaking. It was so good. It was so good. And so I had the replay up for that on the website as well. And so I will put the link up there as well. It's the same exact link, so everything's in one link, you know, the program, what it entails, on the replay. Um, and so be sure, um, to check it out. So matter of fact, let me go ahead and put this up in here now, um, for those who may want to go ahead and go on the site and check it out. So this is the link to the program here, and then I'll put the link to my speaking engagement as well. That's in Raleigh, and I'm gonna send it out to my email list on Saturday as well for those who are on my email list. It's virtual and in person. Okay, okay. There we go. So it should be on Facebook and on YouTube. LinkedIn didn't get it, so I have to go over there separately and put it on LinkedIn if you're up there. Okay, all righty. So the first reason you should become a life coach if you are a Christian leader is if you are a pastor, minister, nonprofit founder, church leader, marketplace mentoring you are already probably mentoring people, advising people, or counseling with people, okay? Um, because as you know, whenever you are in leadership, right, you have people that follow you, that look up to you, that come to you for advice, that come to you for wisdom, right? And of course, we are discipling some of these people, but still, you can definitely end up going over into a different realm where you're counseling these people or you're coaching them. It goes beyond mentoring and it goes beyond discipleship, okay? I have people that God has called me to, you know, mentor, um, you know, from time to time, or disciple. But it's not— I'm not coaching them. I'm not running over into counseling and therapy and all that good stuff, right? Um, and so I really had to learn myself how to have like those appropriate boundaries with people, because people for the most part know what I do, so they want to kind of tap into everything that I'm doing without any kind of investment. And we're not I'm not doing that. We're not doing that. And so I know sometimes as leaders it can feel as though, okay, well, you know, I don't want to charge them to minister to them. Well, you— we are not. First of all, okay, the word of God is free. But when it comes to tools and when it comes to frameworks, when it comes to setting goals, assessments, right, you were giving them practical tools, life skills to help them to move forward in their life. That is priceless, okay? Personal development is priceless, okay? We can go invest in, you know, our hair, our nails, everything else, right? When it comes to, you know, our own personal growth, when it comes to our mental health, when it comes to, you know, advancing, right, spiritually, right? Many people don't want to invest in that. Not all people, but many people don't see that as important. To me, that is so backwards. That is so backwards to me, okay? And I love all those things. I love, you know, nice things, right? But I'm definitely more, uh, worried about and more concerned about my own mental, my spiritual health, and my spirit, and my— and me learning the word of God and all of that good stuff, okay? So I invest way more in that than I do into my looks. I really do, okay? And so with that being said, if you are doing these things and you are a Christian leader, you know, becoming certified gives you the formal tools, the frameworks, and confidence to support people in a structured, ethical, and effective way. It provides you with a structure so you can help serve them effortlessly, okay? And so my program— I always say this— my program gives you the structure and the strategy. Holy Spirit gives you the vision. But oftentimes we need clarity, and we need someone to help us to like push that baby out, and that's what I do, okay? Number 2, people are always coming to you for wisdom in their life, right? You the person that people call in times of crisis. Um, for, um, support in different areas of their life when it comes to family, when it comes to finances, when it comes to relationships, personal struggles, all of the above. And a certification enables you to steward that calling without feeling overwhelmed or burnt out. You can decide whether you would charge or continue to do so for free if you would like, but it will at least give you a structured framework so that way you are not becoming their guide, okay? You are sowing seeds, you are watering seeds, and God is the one that brings the increase. And oftentimes I've seen it, I've been there myself you know, as a leader, someone that wants to help people, is that you keep pouring and you keep pouring and you keep pouring and you keep pouring, right? And they're wasting your oil. They're wasting your oil because they're not applying it, or they're always coming to you for just that quick fix to feel good, okay? And honestly, I go over this in a little bit even more detail. It's like, time out for that. God wants the body of Christ to mature. He really does. He was— it's the same word I've been getting for the past, you know, 2 or 3 years now. But this time, like, I— it's like it's been so heavy on me even the more that God wants the body to mature in so many different areas of their lives, okay? And the third thing is, um, you stay up late at night carrying the emotional weight of others, okay? You either— you up with them comforting, comforting them, um, they're calling you all times of the hour like you are, you know, 911, okay? It's time to create boundaries and systems around how you serve so you don't carry what God never asked you to carry alone. Just the other day, um, someone joined my program who also— she's also been a mentee, a coaching client, okay? She's been invested in a lot of my stuff and she has grown tremendously. And she said, yeah, I'm up late with a mentee. I have been for a long time now, like mentoring her. I'm like, no, no ma'am, at this time, at this point, sound like to me she needs some counseling and she needs some like coaching or something with some structure to help her to get to, you know, where she, um, what she needs to be. Okay, and I get it, there's seasons where God will assign me to someone specifically to mentor them, but I have boundaries with them. I have boundaries with them, you all. Okay, um, the next thing here, also added here one more point: people take what they invest in seriously most of the time. I say most of the time, and the investment is not always just financial. It can be financial or it's your time. And so if you're not holding that person accountable to do something or have some kind of homework or something to help them move the needle, uh, where they want to be at, they're likely not going to make progress, or they're just going to keep coming to you in that moment to feel good, and they keep coming to you for the same thing over and over and over and over and over again. No, there needs to be a boundary. There needs to be a clear line as to what you're able to do Um, also, um, knowing that whether it's coaching, counseling, or whether it's, um, advising or mentoring, whatever it is, right? The fourth one here is you clarify your assignment and your lane. You are not called to everybody. As a Christian leader, we are not called to everyone, okay? And so one of the things my program is going to teach you to do is how to really, um, discern I'm right. I mean, really know what area God is calling you to. All my students that I've had thus far, program, knowing exactly what God has called them to. And it can change over time, okay? It can change. Mine has changed. My best friend told me the other day God is switching over her, you know, her area of where he wants her to focus in into a different thing she didn't expect. And I'm like, it's layers to it. I mean, you've probably, you probably already mastered this here and and God is just adding to you. So you can have more than one area. I'm not saying that you have to have one particular area and that's all, but when you are looking at coaching people, okay, and you want to charge for it specifically, you do need to have a people group so you can reach them, so you can speak their language. And my program, it helps you to be able to do that, to speak that person's language, okay? So again, it helps clarify your assignment in this season. Of this program so you can understand your lane and your assignment. If you probably already know who your niche is, but it's still— you have to— I'm always saying this, I'm asking those questions, okay, go further, go deeper, go further, go deeper, go further, go deeper, right? I'm gonna ask you questions that kind of really help you to hone in even the more, okay? So I have a whole section all about that, about, you know, niching down, who is God calling you to. I have a whole strategy of, you know, how to do that. I have one specifically for Christian leaders. I have one specifically for those who are therapists who join the program, right, of how to really truly find, um, that particular niche. Okay, because also I put here, whenever you know that, it prevents you from overextending or operating outside of your scope or out of God's alignment. So it's because you're good at it, it's because you can do it it doesn't mean that God's calling you to do it right now in this season. Because again, seasons change, assignments do change, your people group can change. Okay, prime example, and it interests me, and just the other, um, um, last week the man of God asked me, he's like, hey, you know, in one season, you know, I was, you know, I'm already, I'm already coaching people, I'm already getting paid for it before in the past, but those people I had before are like not investing, but they still calling on me, pulling on me, whatever. And I'm like, he's, I don't know what to do. And immediately I heard the Lord say that I'm changing his people group. He need to come to me to seek me to find out who his people group is. He said, you know what, you were— he began to think, he said, you are so right, you are so— and so God confirmed that with him that he needed to go and change his people group. And then I know mine has changed over the years consistently. It has changed, and that is okay. Um, number 5, okay, build a sustainable ministry or business. Certification gives you the tools to create income-generating programs like group coaching, workshops, retreats without compromising your faith. Okay, it's possible to serve and steward finance as well. And so, um, with that being said, so my program does include, you know, how to start your business. Um, I will give you some tips there of business, of what to do, what not to do, you know, how to save your money, right? Don't invest in things that you don't actually need right now, especially if you're new at doing this, right? Uh, if you already have a coaching— have a business already, depending on what you have, you probably can just add this service up under what you already have, right? But I don't know what you have. So if you already have a business, in the comment section let me know, hey, I already have XYZ, can I add coaching to this business? And I'll give you my best, you know, my best understanding of it. But still, definitely talk to the people in your state to ask them, okay? Every state is different when it comes to business stuff, all right? My program offers 3 different tiers, okay? The first tier is like certification. It's very robust. It's 6 modules. It's very detailed. Again, it's on my website, but also I went over in detail as well at the, um, interest meeting. Um, and then the tier 2, you get certification, but also for those who are ready to develop their, um, group coaching or group mentoring programs, I'm going to help you with that. I'm going to help you to really fine-tune that, help you with strategy, help you with your blueprint so that way you can go and you can implement it, okay? I have several programs now. I have several things that I offer now. Um, coaching to me— someone asked me before, you know, about coaching and can they get a whole bunch of clients right away. I'm like, it depends. It depends on you. It depends on, you know, who you call to. It depends on do you already have access to those, to those people. It depends on a lot of different things, you guys. I can't tell you you will or you won't, right? But it does depend on the work you're willing to put in, for sure. But you don't only just coach, you can offer other things like books, you can offer, you know, um, mini courses, you can offer, um, your speaking, you can offer so many different things you can offer that falls under coaching. Because as you coach people, you begin to see other needs that your people may have, and God, God will show you first and foremost. If you spend time with the Lord and you surrendering your stuff to him, he will show you exactly what to create. He did that for me, okay? Oh yes, I'm gonna get into my other client I have now. She She got— already showed me so much for her. I can't wait to have our first session because it's gonna be amazing. Um, alrighty. And so the sixth one here is disciple with structure, not just emotion. Okay, so you might have the heart to heal, but a heart alone is not a strategy. Okay, certification teaches you to guide transformation through intentional conversations, assessments, goal setting, and accountability. Okay, I have one particular module, it's called Holy Spirit Lead Counseling. So the first part of my program focuses more so on getting those practical tools. A lot of times people who are Christian leaders who are coming to me who want to be, you know, certified through our program, or they want coaching themselves, they want to be so heavy on the Holy Spirit, right? Not understanding that the Holy Spirit works through our actions, and the Holy Spirit works through our faith, and the Holy Spirit work through the things that we are willing to do when it comes to like putting your hands to the plow, okay? So what I mean by that is you can't just pray and don't have strategy. You can't just pray, right, and not have a plan, okay? What is the plan? Whatever, whatever we're working on, there needs to be a strategy. It needs to be a plan that you can be doing throughout the week at the same time you're praying. So my program, you know, incorporates, you know, Holy Spirit, you know, scripture, all that good stuff, right? But in the beginning, we're going heavily over tools and assessments. And I also want to add while I'm here too is that many times people keep saying, you know, I'm called to healing and deliverance. Okay, all righty, that's great. I am too. But who, who are you called to that God wants you to help heal and deliver? Okay, so I did a blog on that just the other day. I'mma send it out to my email list, um, probably this weekend sometime, um, because I really want people to really like dig deeper when they say that. Dig deeper, especially when you want to coach people and you want to get paid for it. You need to, um, really hone in on that. Don't just say healing and deliverance. People, okay, well, to me that sounds like pure this ministry, right? When you hear that, you think of people being up here on TV, social media, and, you know, got people laying hands on them, they falling out. That's what they're thinking about. But healing and deliverance looks different with coaching. It looks different. I know probably, uh, at the beginning of this year— was it? No, the fall last year, uh, the Lord told me to, you know, sign up for a business session with, um, one of my mentors, right? And so I did, by faith I signed up for it and I paid for it, okay? It was not cheap, okay? And, um, so I did, and I'm like— the Lord was like, she has something that you need that I want you to implement in your business, okay? And so I did. It was just like, she wasn't— we prayed in the— she prayed for me in the very beginning, but she was giving me nothing but pure strategy. I can feel God's presence on it so heavily confirming, yes, what she's telling you is accurate. Yes, right? When I got the replay, I went back and listened to it again, all right? And I begin to write down, I'm like, oh my God, like, God, this is what I need. I was missing a few pieces, right? I needed to bring it to my business, you all. And it helped me a lot. It helped me to be more laser focused on specific things so I can implement them and implement them well, okay? And so I say that to say is that strategy— you people coming to you for strategy and transformation Okay, so was it worth me going to her? Absolutely, absolutely. I'm glad I did that, and I was obedient to God. Okay, um, and so number 7, expand your influence beyond the pulpit. Oh my God, I was sitting down, um, even earlier. I'm like, okay God, what? I had 10 here and I was reading through. I'm like, God, okay, this one, it's okay. I wanted some very powerful points for tonight, um, and so he began to speak to me. Like, many people think that, you know, their ministry, or what I call them to, is just for the church, like the four walls of the church. And that is not accurate. That is the furthest thing from the truth, you all. The Lord— oh my gosh, the Lord, the Lord, the Lord, the Lord— has so much for us to do, and it's not always in church. And oftentimes we look for people to validate us, to confirm our calling, to agree with us, to agree with God. And when they don't, we get frustrated and we get upset. And maybe, just maybe, the Lord is not showing them or releasing them to do it because he wants to be the one to confirm you. He wants to be the one to validate you. If I waited every single time for someone to validate me, y'all, on whatever I'm doing, I would have never gotten this far in my ministry, in my business. Never. Because not everyone around you gonna understand, even in your church. And that is okay because God does not want us to be dependent or codependent on people for validation, okay? It's a difference to me, you know, when someone is like, you know, supporting you or they're, you know, confirming what God is saying. That's fine. But if you're looking solely for people to confirm what God already told you a thousand times, you already in error. You already being disobedient and you operating in, honestly, the spirit of rejection because you want them to accept you, okay? And you're not gonna always get that. Trust me, I walked it, lived it. Still do, still do. Okay, all righty, so that was number 7, which expand your influence beyond the pulpit. Okay, it's not always going to be within the four walls of the church. Okay, all right, the next one here is number 8: give birth to your God-given vision. EPA, which stands for Power Purpose Academy, which is my academy, is also a birthing center. I knew that, but, um, God used one of my students to confirm that. Like, God has allowed my students I've had before in the past to give birth to some amazing things through this program. It pushes them, it causes them to think outside of the box, okay? And when they put the work in and spend time with the Lord during this program, you know, God is showing me stuff about them too as well. So you're going to be able to push out what it is that God has placed on the inside of you, but you have to show up as well. You have to show up, but you have to do the work. Okay, um, number 9 is you are tired of pouring out without any tangible fruit. All right, let me explain. So yes, I'm not saying people that are, that are growing— if they're growing, that's great. But as I said earlier, when you become a life coach, it's a lot more that goes into it, right? It opens up doors for you, it stretches your mindset. In my program, I am talking about the different things you can do and different tools you could do and use to help create some of this stuff. Okay, um, and so once again, you write books, ebooks, speak, travel, um, so much more, mentorship, right? And when you do these things, right, you're, you're expanding your reach, you're expanding your audience. And I also go over strategies as well as to, um, what it is that you need to do to kind of like get to the next level, get to the next step. Okay, but I know everyone who come to my program are not on the same level. Some are already probably already, you know, coaching but want to get recertified. I'll go over that next Thursday. Okay, um, but once again, I didn't finish my last statement I said earlier about the Tier 1, 2, and 3. So Tier 1 is certification. Tier 2 is I teach you how to do group coaching, mentoring, right? Group coaching. And then Tier 3, you get 4 sessions with me one-on-one including Tier 1 and Tier 2. So I have people who have signed up for Tier 3, hallelujah, uh, who wants the full— every— they want everything, they want, they want everything. So they're gonna get it, okay? Um, and so yes, you want to have tangible fruit, things that you can see, financial fruit, right, from your hard work. And there's nothing wrong with monetizing for it. And so another thing is I want to put here while I'm on this topic It's sometimes like what comes easy to us, we feel like it's not worth paying for, or it's not really much value to it. But that's a clear sign that that's an area that you're gifted at and an area that you have probably mastered, okay? This is why it's so easy for you to do it. But to the average person who needs what you have, it doesn't come to them like that. It's not second nature to them. So I want you to keep that in mind, keep that in mind, um, as well. And then the last thing here, and I'm gonna get into the word of God tonight, y'all, it's called Because God Told You to Do So, Obey Him, right? And I'm not talking about just my program, I'm talking about anything that God's calling you to do, especially in this season. My goodness, God wants you to obey him, y'all. He wants y'all to obey us. Okay, let me go a little bit. So a few months ago, probably back in, let's say, January right before the Lord had told me to, um, start my Christian leadership mentorship group. And the big— the number one thing he want me to do is make sure that we read the word of God in detail, okay? Yes, we talk about life stuff. Yes, we talk about whatever is going on. We pray and all that stuff, but the word of God is our core focus because he said my people need to mature in the word of God. He said because the things that are starting to happen are already happening in this world People need my word, okay? And the word of God is what anchors us as leaders first and foremost, and it gives us something to pull from and to pour into his people. And the revelation that God wants to give us in the word, we have to spend time with it. We have to toil with the word. We got to break that thing down. So when we get together, we're reading, then we going back over it again. Okay, what is God saying to y'all? This is what God showed me. What is God showing you, right? Sometimes God don't show me, he'll show them. Okay, and it's amazing. Okay, we had it this past Sunday. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I was like so high. We all were when we got done. It was amazing. Okay, so I'll put a link to that too as well in just a moment. I forgot about that particular link, but the word God gave me, he gave me the same exact word for those who attended the interest meeting, and I'm gonna go over it, um, tonight. So it gave me Mark, um, chapter 4 at verse 14. The farmer sows the word. Verse 15: Some people are like seed along the path where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown into them. So the farmer is Jesus, okay? So he comes and he gives you an instruction. He come and he tell you to do something specifically, right? And then as soon as you hear it, the enemy come and take it away immediately. And like, no, don't do that. No, um, you gotta do this, you gotta do that, right? All right, so verse 16: Others, like seeds sown on rocky places, hear the word at once, receive it with joy. They get so excited, right? So people who, who signed up from Intimate, and they were excited that to come and they decided to join, but when we begin to talk about finances, right, when the guy has already told them that this program was for them then that's why I get like, oh, I don't this and I don't that and I don't this, I don't that. Listen, been there, done that, okay? God is not going to call us to do something that he himself has not done, which he has through his son Christ Jesus, okay? Sacrifice, okay? Hello. So who are we to think that we ain't got to sacrifice something to get to the next level in God? I do it all the time. Do it hurt sometimes? Absolutely. Is it, is it always convenient for me? No, it's not. But I have not— God has not failed me yet. He has not failed. He's not going to, because I try my best to operate in radical obedience. And I know everybody is not there yet, but you can get there. I didn't get here overnight, okay? So verse 17 says this: but since they have no root, they last only a short time. So by the time you didn't got out of the interest meeting, by the time the word has came forth, you got excited The enemy comes and begin to tell you all these things against God's word, and then it's gone. You just say, okay, I can't, I can't, I just can't do it. Okay, your faith is dwindling away. All right, so it says here, when trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. Do you know how many people, um, my students I had in the past who went through so much warfare when God told them to do the program and they did do it? They had so much— I did too. I had warfare as well too. Okay, because here's the thing, you have to look at it from a kingdom perspective. It's kingdom, y'all. We think kingdom, you will understand even the more. Satan understands the impact of what it is that you carry. And once you decide, okay Lord, I'm going to take this call on my life seriously, I'm going to be obedient to you no matter what, I'm going to invest in what you tell me to invest in, Lord, the enemy will come for that seed. He will challenge you, he will throw things in your way, he will try to distract you. He wants you to just forfeit whatever it is that God has for you. And you see here going around mountain, going in circles time and time and time and time again. Going around the mountain. I've seen it, I've seen it over and over and over again because you did not obey. God still loves you. He loves you. He's patient. He's waiting for you. But you're delaying your own purpose. You're delaying the thing that God has for you because of lack of obedience and faith. Okay, faith is what pleases God and moves God. It's currency in the kingdom. Remember that. Okay, all right. So verse 18 says this: still others, like seeds sown among thorns, hear the word, but the worries of this life, the, the thoughts of wealth and desires for other things come in and choke the word out, making it unfruitful. Prime example, I said at the very beginning of this live, people— God give you the seed, God give you the word to do it, but that seed end up going to what we want in the flesh, you know, hair, clothes, nails, whatever it is, car, whatever it is. We take that seed and we waste it. And then when it's time for you to make the investment God told you to do, whether it's for your time or your money, right? You don't have it no more, okay? And people be asking me, oh, you just lost— no, I don't do that no more. Scholarships, I don't do it. I never did anyway, but I didn't do it because I understood like what it is that God has already told me. Like, no, they need to invest. We take seriously what we invest in, and what I have to offer is valuable. It's invaluable. It is. And even with what I have now, as far as my pricing I have this year, it's still not priced the way it could be because I'm not trying to rob God's people, right? So kind of right in that middle range, right? It's definitely affordable. You get way more than what you're paying for. I can guarantee you that. You will not leave this program the same. You won't. Especially if you go to Tier 2 and Tier 3. And so far, everybody in Tier 2 or Tier 3, right? So it's Ashley— I Am Who I Am— she in Tier 2, okay? God won't change her, okay? Through this program. I know he is. Okay, so verse 20, um, others like seed sown on good soil hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop some 30, some 60, some 100 times what was sown. So think about that, right? Whatever God tell you to invest in, whether it's your time or your money, right? And you obey him, right? Not like delayed obedience. Now, am I saying God can't use it when you obey him? It gives him so much joy to bless us, y'all. It really does. And he says here in scripture, okay, verse 20, okay, others like seed sown on good soil hear the word, they accept the word and produce a crop, some 30, some 60, some 100 times what was sown. Come on, somebody. So that's what the— that's the kind of posture God wants you to have. Okay, God, if I do what you tell me to do I might not see it right now, but I am going to reap a harvest, okay? Some 30, some 60, some 100 times what God— what, what, what I actually sown. Come on now, you can't, you can't even go to the bank and get that, okay? And so yes, and when you obey, obey, obey God as well, you— it's like you continue like to like have like that momentum. God will continue to stretch you in the area. He did that for me. He does. Okay, I'm like, God, now How much more, Lord? How much more do you want me to give, Jesus? I'm on my— so whatever I'm doing with the time, money, whatever it is, okay? And I do it anyway. I do it anyway. And because of that, I have gotten so much favor with God, okay? And favor is not always about money. It's not monetary. It's just favor. It's just for his covering, his blessing, his guidance, his leading in every area of my life, y'all. I see the fruit of that. I see the fruit of that. Okay, and so I'm not sharing this word with you as a way to manipulate you or control you, but I'm telling you the word— the word of God says, okay? So I know for a fact, if God is, is putting it on your heart to join this program, then you obey God. Disobey him. That's it. Is it scary? Absolutely. But that's when faith shows up, and that's when God can show you a new level of where he wants to take you and what he has for you. Even just today, I was meditating, and I think, um, John chapter, uh, 14, I want to say verse 17, don't quote me on that. And it was talking about how Jesus was saying to the disciples, he was like, you know, whenever you guys obey me, when you obey my commands, right, I reveal myself to you even the more. The more you obey me, the more I reveal to you. The more you obey me, the more God and me and the Holy Spirit, the Trinity, right, dwells in you. Okay, like, that blew my mind. I was like, wow, God, it's right here in scripture. So many of you who want to grow in God, you want to grow spiritually, you want to see God's hand in your life, right? The more you obey him, he will reveal himself to you. That is scripture. That's a promise. That is a promise. Okay, that's right, Ashley. But, um, thank you. You're so welcome. And she put, um, his grace is sufficient. Amen. It's all coming together. That's right, that's right. Let me put it up here so you guys can see. So yes, if you're just getting on now, I encourage you to go back and look at the replay. Um, also I'll go over the 10 real quickly and then I'll be done. Um, and so number 1, um, so this is for those of you who are Christian leaders. And again, a Christian leader is not just a 5-fold ministry, it is not just in the 5, um, within the walls of a church. It is for those who it is called to lead people in any capacity. Okay, so if you are doing these things, being certified, and you're leading people, it's going to give you the tools, the framework, and confidence to support people in a more structured way. Okay, this program provides you with structure. I'm big on structure. I'm big on being organized because if I don't, my life will be in shambles. I have to be organized. I'm like writing in my calendar every day. Every day. Okay, all right. Number 2, I put people who come to you for wisdom all the time, especially in crisis, right? And you always, you know, pouring, and you feel tired, you feel burned out, you feel worn out. You need boundaries for one, but also this program can help you to really, you know, offer them, hey, you know, I can still support you in this area over here if God's asking you to. But also I have, you know, um, now I'm a certified life coach, and I have tools to help you that I can use to really help you to get to the next level faster. Hello somebody, Pastor. So I did have a mentee before, um, beginning of this year, and, um, it was like more passive, like, you know, how you doing, check in, right? I wasn't coaching, it was just like just giving her some advice here and there. And then, um, one day the Lord gave me this detailed dream and he was showing me, he said, I want you to make room for her. I know you busy right now, because at that time I wasn't taking on any coaching clients. And, um, I said, God, I was like, I am so busy. He said, make room. Like, I literally had a dream of me cleaning out my drawers, right, and putting her stuff in there. And, um, I said, wow. So I reached out to my best friend who also prays for me all the time, covers me in prayer. I'm like, girl, this is what I had. And she said yes because she knows who she is too. She was like, the Lord said he is wanting you to actually coach her and to actually like charge her for it, right? So, um, I don't know if I reached out to her or she— I reached out to her. I did. I said, hey, I said, it's no pressure for me, I'm being obedient to God. I said, I'm busy, but I'll make room for you. But the Lord is showing me that he want me to actually coach you, like actually have I have structured coaching sessions with you, okay? And she was like, um, I know, he told me too, but I don't have the funds right now. I said, okay. I said, it's no pressure. I'm like, this is the link, this is the page, this is where you can sign up at. I had actually go in my system and open my calendar up and do— I did all, all those things. And within a week, she made— she did— she paid for 4 sessions, y'all, and they were powerful. And God has— oh my gosh, y'all, I can't put it into words. Oh Jesus, my God. God just did a quick work because she decided to obey God and she implemented what I gave her, and God was able to heal her areas like this. Oh my gosh, y'all, like, she's doing so great now. She got her own YouTube channel. Like, is she so— she's glowing now. I mean, like, I cried. I, I just cried. Her transformation was so quick, and God did a great work. By third session, she was already good. She's already good by third session because I have— when I meet with my people, they're meaty session. They're not patty cake. I don't play games, okay? We get into the nitty-gritty, we get into the root, and that's, that's it. That's how I coach people now, okay? Help you get there faster, okay? Um, the next thing here is, um, I put 3: staying up late, carrying the emotional weight of other people, okay? God wants you to have boundaries with that. And I also put here, people invest in what they pay for or they put their time into, okay? And when I'm saying time, oftentimes we're giving them advice, advice, advice, advice, with no particular strategy or structure. And they talk to you probably in that moment, and the next moment they're gone on the day, and then they back into square one all over again because you— they don't have a strategy. Um, number 4, um, you will be able to clarify your assignment and your niche, okay, and your lane, what God's called you to in this season. Because I say this season because it can change from season to season. And you'll be able to discern whether you're doing counseling, mentoring, discipling people, or coaching people. All right, number 5, you will build a sustainable ministry or, or business, right? So create, um, income, not just coaching, where you could do workshops, you can do retreat, you can do whatever it is that God put in your heart to do, okay, under your coaching. All right, number 6, um, have structure and be able to really, um, you know, heal God's people without being emotional. Oftentimes we can be emotional driven, like, okay, for me, this is how I am now. So if somebody send me an email or something and like, oh my God, like they're like in crisis mode, a lot of times I don't respond right away. Because what it does, it sparks emotion in you. I'm human, right? And so if I'm responding to them in emotion, I'm not going to be able to give them what God has given me for them. So I need a moment to kind of back up and be in prayer. I'm like, okay God, what do I need to say to this? He, um, you know, tell them. Oftentimes he'll tell me in advance, okay, this person dealing with this, you need to tell them this, right? Uh, sometimes, you know, I won't get it until I, to, until I actually see them during session, okay? But the Lord, oh my God, he don't want us to to minister to people out of emotions, okay? You have to discern the difference, okay? Don't be driven by people's emotions, even your own emotions. You're an emotional person, like, let God help you in the area, okay? Been there, done that too, okay? I can't be— let my emotions drive my decisions or drive me, okay? Because it'll be— it'll be a hot mess, y'all, especially with us women. Be a hot mess, okay? Number 7: Expand your influence beyond the pulpit. A lot of times, you know, what God has given us is not just for your particular church or your home church. It could be outside go, or your church, and you know, that's okay. That's okay. That's okay, you guys. Everything we do does not have to be within the four walls of the church. Everything you do does not have to be certified or approved by your leaders who are over you. No, they are not, um, your dictatorship, right? They are there to lead you and to shepherd you, but they don't have, you know, lord over your life. God is Lord over your life. As I said earlier, if I spent time waiting for people to give me permission I'll wait forever, and I'm over it. I'm past it, okay? I'm so past that now, okay? It's exhausting, it's tiring, and it hinders your progress. It hinders your growth, right? That's right, Ashley said, whoo, amazing. Absolutely. Mm-hmm. Yes. Um, the 8th one here, I put, you would give birth to your God-given vision. And my academy, it helps you to do that. I call it the birthing center, depending on what program you sign up for. Which is this one here, um, the birthing center. It will help you push out what God has put on the inside of you. Okay, um, real quick, I had a Christian leader that signed up for Cohort 1, and she ended up, um, by the time she got done, the Lord gave her the whole blueprint for her ministry. So she was like the Christian leader over the usher board, and she was over like 50 to like 60 ushers, okay? And they were all coming to her for all kind of stuff. I'm like, girl, You're gonna be— she was always tired. She couldn't even get through the program because it was just so much on her. I'm like, no, you need to have boundaries. And so God gave her a whole entire manual, a whole entire blueprint of how to structure everything with that particular ministry. And she'll be able to take that, go and get it published, you know, um, go and get it, um, published and sell it to other people, other churches who need the same thing. Okay, so what we have once again is not always for the church. Church, okay? It could be for the body of Christ in general, okay? Um, and then number 9, I put here, you're tired of pouring out without any tangible fruit. I'm meaning that you want fruit from the things that you do, and God wants to give you a harvest from that. Yes, you were ministering. Yes, you were leader. And yes, you know, you don't put to see here in charge people over here for every single thing you do for them. That's not what I'm saying. But if you desire to do more in your life, more in ministry, you write books, things, you know, you want to be able to see the fruit of your labor. It gives you joy, right? It gives you some kind of relief, okay? It gives you, um, you know, something to give people who may not want to do coaching with you yet, but it might buy your book, okay? I get that a lot. They'll get the book that I might have. I'm gonna do number 10. I put here because God told you so. Okay, that's it. So I'm not going to go over the whole entire, um, chapter here, but for the particular book. So Mark chapter 4, verses 14 through 20, um, it talks about, you know, the seed, how Christ will come and give you a seed or give you a word or instruction, right, to do something, okay, through his word. And the enemy comes in, he can steal it from you, all right. But the Lord desires for you to take that seed that he gave you and invest it wherever he tell you to invest it at, whether it's your time, whether it's your money, whatever it is, resources, whatever it is. Okay, and he says in verse 20 that some will produce a crop of some 30, some 60, some 100 times what was sown. What God told you to sow, not what somebody else told you to sow. I'm telling you that right now. Don't be manipulated, okay? So I'm really big on you obey God, okay? You obey the Lord and what he's telling you to do. Okay, and so yes, that's all I have for tonight. Um, let me see. She said, shall I bring to the time of birth and not call, call delivery to the Lord? Yes, I love that, Ashley. Let me show that. Shall I who calls delivery shut up the womb? Yes, absolutely. Exactly, exactly. And she put, being confident of this very thing, that he has begun a good work in you will complete it. Yes. Absolutely. Mm-hmm. And so once again, uh, thank you all for getting on. If you have any questions, um, be sure to leave it in the comment section. I did put the page to the website for the coaching program in the, um, in the comment section. Enrollment closes next Thursday. I'm going live one more time, that'll be Thursday next week, to talk to those who are already life coaches and how this program can help you. I'll be going over that. That's what the Lord told me to do, and I'm going to do it. And then, um, I put the link in here. I have a speaking engagement June 3rd on a Wednesday, um, in Raleigh. It's virtual and it's also in person, so I put the link to that to register. It's free for anybody to attend. Um, it's going to be amazing. Uh, so I shared that in the very beginning as well. You're welcome. See you soon, Ashley. Hope you, um, enjoying Modules 1 and 2 so far. Okay, um, so Ashley's already in the program, you all. Uh, let me put this in. And then also, um, if you're interested in joining my Christian Leadership Mentorship Group, I'll put that in there as well so you can check that out. Once again, I want people who want it. That's what I want, people who want it, who desire to have it. Right? Who gonna show up hungry? Not gonna pour. I don't mind pouring as long as that's going into the right cup. Um, okay, here we go. So that is about— yeah, the Bible Study Buster with Bible study, prayer, and we, you know, we, we have real talks, y'all. We have real talks about leadership. Okay, all righty. Okay, and thank you all for getting on up here on Instagram. If you have any questions as well, let me know, send me a DM or comment. Yeah, so I am done. Thank you all again, and I will see you guys live again for sure next Thursday. Lord willing. And thank you all again for getting on. Talk to you soon. Bye.
