10 Reasons Why Christian Life Coaches Should Re-Certify | 🕊️ LIVE

Okay. So before I jump into, um, tonight, which I don't plan on being up here long, okay, we'll see, see how things go. So first of all, my name is Shakeeta Torres. Welcome to those who are new to, um, my platforms, who are new to me, uh, and my business and my ministry. I'm a therapist, I'm a life coach, I'm a speaker, I'm also God's prophet as well, and I move and flow how he moves me, okay. What I mean by that, so if God tell me to come up here and give a word prophetically, I will as he leads me to. But I'm also in business as well. Well, I have so many programs. I have— oh my gosh, you guys, I have a lot of stuff going on, okay, but in a good way. So I'm not gonna get in that tonight, but tonight is all about, um, my program that I have open for those who want to become a Christian life coach, okay. Um, and tonight's live is all about those who are already certified why you should become certified again. And I have myself 3 different times, okay? I definitely believe in continued education. I have to do that in order to keep my licensure as a therapist. And I also engage in training as well as a life coach and a teacher who teaches those who provide life coaching as well, okay? And so FYI, enrollment does close tonight at midnight, okay? It closes tonight at midnight. Tonight. This will be my last live, um, about this particular program. We have our first class on next Thursday. I'm so excited. Um, people are already in there. I'm working on modules 1 and modules 2, and I cannot wait to pour into them and see what it is that God has for them and for their next season. Um, and also, let me see, I only offer this program once a year. I've been getting DMs on my platforms up here. I been getting emails and DMs also on, um, EPA's, um, Facebook page as well about the next interest meeting. There are not any more interest meetings, you guys. I offer other programs too, um, that I offer not throughout the year, but I offer them in different seasons, okay? So right now, this summer, we're having our Christian life coaching program, okay? My program also offers, um, 3 different tiers. The first tier is for those of you who are like, hey, I'm new to life coaching, or I want to just come in and get, you know, fresh tools, fresh anointing, a fresh wind, right? The second tier is for those who want— who wants tier 2, but also in tier— I'm tier 1, but also in tier 2. We will be going, um, over group coaching and group mentorship, right? So I have several group programs I have been implementing for the past 3 years now, almost 4 years, and yeah, actually, yeah, about 4 years now. And I'm going to teach you how to develop that. I'm going to go over your niche, really hone it in, and really help you to have that blueprint. So that way you'll know what to do and how to implement your program. Okay? And then tier 3, um, you'll get tier 1 and you'll get tier 2, and then you get 4, um, one-on-one, um, time with me, um, in order to go over all your stuff and get that more personalized approach. So with that being said, let's get into the top 10 reasons why Christian life coaches should recertify, okay? Number 1, to update and sharpen your coaching skills, okay? Just like any other profession, life coaching, it has evolved a lot, uh, they have new coaching strategies and assessments are constantly emerging. Um, it gives you fresh tools and approaches to serve your clients better. Um, and for me, y'all, I love to create. I love to create. I'm very creative. And people who I have helped, you know, in the past and now with their business, I'm able to give them the ideas that they need for their stuff. Okay, it's for them, it's not for me, it's for them. There is so much room here, okay, for all of us and God is no respecter of persons. Everything you have seen me create has been driven and led by the Holy Spirit. Everything that I have, okay? I have not copied anybody. Have I been— have I been inspired by other people? Absolutely. But I don't have to copy anyone because God is the master creator. And just like he could give me fresh ideas, he can give me, you know, innovation and creativity. He can do the same thing for you. But sometimes it has to be unlocked, okay? And I can help you to unlock that. And then keep in mind too that coaching does not have jurisdiction like therapists do. So the therapist, I have to, you know, continue to do a lot of training throughout the year. I'm have to pay fees and keep my licensure up, you know, up. And with coaching, it's not that way. So unless you are part of, you know, uh, I would say a Fortune 500 company where you have to do that, there's no one holding your hand saying you have to continue to engage in training and continue to engage in, um, certifications, right? Um, and so hold yourself accountable, right? Push yourself to do more, to add more under, under your belt. All right, number 2, to maintain, maintain professional credibility. And so some people— so what's happening, what I'm seeing now is that on social media, coaching could be so saturated. So it appears, but to be honest, there are very few coaches that I, that I could see, I could discern, who actually has real training, who has actually, you know, taken out time to get certification. Some of them are just operating out of just their own life or things they've been through, and that's not wrong per se, but are you really helping your clients and giving them, you know, what they really need? Like, I have one of my students now, she learning all about, you know, those boundaries. She learning all about meeting your client where they are, right? Coaching is not about me. Coaching is not about the coach. It is about the person you are coaching. And I noticed that, you know, many times in the past, even in therapy too, I would hear clients say, you know, I saw a coach before or a therapist before, and they talk about themselves a lot. Like, I feel like I'm not really getting what I need. And that's not— that's not fair. You have to be very mindful of that. And we can also coach from our emotions In my program, we go through all of that, okay? You have to coach through your, your, your skills and through the Holy Spirit. And my program also shows you how to do that as well. And I meant to get it out before I, I went live, but I forgot to. But I also have a book called Holy Spirit Led Coaching for Christian Life Coaches. And people who join my interest meeting, some of them purchased the book and they told me how much it had blessed them and they love the book. And so I encourage you Even if you don't want to, you know, engage in my program, get the book. The book is inexpensive and you'll be able to learn. It'll like really like reignite that fire that might be, you know, in there burning you. Okay, so that's number 2, maintain professional credibility. All right, number 3, reignite your passion in and your purpose. So I know that, you know, in our own personal life we can become discouraged, we can feel stuck, or we can lose the initial fire I'm making. So coming back to get me certified can help you to reignite that passion and purpose, all right? And every program is different, every teacher is different, and that is— that's great, okay? So let me give you an example. So I know that the person that I received coaching from, we're different, two different people. And the Lord had already showed me, like, y'all serve two different kinds of people. So like, there's no competition between me and her at all whatsoever, period. Okay, and so I'm like, okay God, he was just telling me that, FYI, FYI, all right. And so people who were drawn to me will be drawn to me. People who were drawn to her ministry and what she does, you know, like what she does, she'll be able to, you know, minister to them. So reignite your passion and your purpose, all right. Number 6, to expand your business knowledge, okay. So things change, okay, how you reach people, like technology, all that stuff, it changes. And so I am the kind of person— I love technology, has helped me tremendously. And so in my program, I do go over, um, different tools that are free and paid to help you to really make your marketing and everything seamless, okay? So that way you're not burnt out, you're not overdoing it. And every single person's capacity and their time that they have is different, okay? If you're going to hire somebody, okay, hire somebody, that's great. But there are ways to do certain things on your own without having to spend extra money for somebody else to do it for you. Okay, um, number 7, to refocus on your niche or calling. So this right here honestly is my favorite one, and let me tell you why. So if you already been coaching for a while and you feel like things are like shifting for you, but you're not quite sure what that looks like, you're not really sure, you know, what's going on, For example, um, during the interest meeting, I mean, I got attended, and he was saying how, you know, the people he used to serve before, like, they kind of like went MIA. They want more so mentorship from him and not coaching from him, which, which ain't the same, by the way, not the same. And immediately I begin to hear the Lord say that I'm shifting him, I'm shifting his audience, I'm shifting people he's serving. And I'm like, oh. So I told him that. He's like, you are so right. He began to just meditate on that, and the Lord confirmed that he is shifting him.. And so maybe God is shifting, okay, your niche, the people that you are called to serve. And so with that being said, I know that, you know, when we think about— hear the word ministry, some people think that we're just called just to minister to everybody, okay? And we— and so number, number one, we, we, we all yield to the Holy Spirit, right? You're supposed to anyway. But when you are coaching people, for the most part, you do have a, a certain population that God's calling you to. Like, mine has been Christian leaders, helping them deal with rejection, helping them to stop going around in circles, help them to, you know, really walk in their calling with boldness, with confidence, right? Dealing with, you know, um, their heart issues, you know, different things around, around that perimeter, okay? Um, some of them come to me and they do want prophetic counseling, meaning that, you know, they have things in their life going on and they want, you know, to, to consult with me as a prophetic advisor. And God shows up for them every single time, all right? And so many clients I have, all of them are Christian leaders but they do have different specific needs, and that's okay. And so when I'm saying, you know, niche down, I'm not saying that— saying that you're going to serve one kind of person per se, but you do need to have a target. Who's your target people? Okay, like I just said, I'm, you know, I'm called to Christian leaders, and God has been evolving that for me over the year, and he's continuing to do so. He's continuing to do so. Okay, so we can change it. It can, it can transition. And you can kind of tell because things may begin to dry up for you. Um, you also may don't, you know, might not feel the same joy or passion like you used to when you were coaching the people that you're seeing right now. Um, number 8, okay, leads to boosting your confidence. All right, so when you recommit to your growth, you increase your confidence in your skill set and clarity about your coaching niche and purpose. It kind of connects to number 7. Um, this leads to stronger results for both you and your clients. Okay, for you and your clients. Um, so point number 9 is you're not the same coach you were when you started. So you have evolved. I know for me, I have evolved tremendously. So when I first started coaching, I was just doing coaching, and then from there I began to start creating courses, uh, having workshops, doing more speaking. Um, writing books and so much more, okay? And so you should be evolving over time, you know, when it comes to your business and your ministry, right? And like I said before earlier, the Lord is no respecter of persons, all right? He desires to give all of us a fresh blueprint of what he has called us to. And I know I say this a lot on my lives, you guys, like in the hour that we in, I know we keep hearing this a lot, you guys, but it's such a need for good quality coaching and good quality therapy, um, therapist, because what's ahead, y'all, it's already happening now, all right? People need to experience breakthrough. People need to see something different. They need to feel something different, right? It's not all about, you know, listen, I'm all for, you know, making, making sure that you are, you know, are up here and you look well and you present yourself well, but I try to have balance in my ministry, so I'm not the type of person who try to sell you an image. What I'm trying to say, I really care about the souls of God's people, okay? And yeah, I'm gonna get into all that tonight. That's a whole other teaching by itself. But once again, we need quality coaches and we need quality therapists, not just someone preaching to people about prosperity, not someone preaching to, you know, to people, you know, about, um, you know, God going to do this and God going to do that. Yes, but y'all listen, I said this today with my husband, like, there's time when God was helping this person going through a trial. He said, I've caused the trial. I'm— it's me allowing the trial to happen. So everything we go through, a lot that seem to be bad to us, it's not necessarily always the enemy. And so when you're coaching people, you have to be able to share that with them. You have to be able to be, um, honest with them because it helps them to grow. That helps them to get to where God wants them to be. And I'm not gonna lie to you, okay? I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna give you what God give me. I'm gonna give you the truth. All right, um, and then the last one I put here, number 10, is, um, if you join under my particular program, um, then I, I also have so much more to offer you guys, okay? Like, worksheets are coming for those who are therapists, those who are coaches. Um, I have one thing I want to share, but I can't share it yet. I don't feel that to share it yet because it's not, it's not quite time. But when the time gets here, I will, I would definitely let you know. But there are other things that is on the vision for EPA and for coaches who come through my program, I'm For The Future. I'll share that another time. And so, yes. And so also, my platforms have a good reputation. People come to me for different things, for advice. And so my platforms, it's going to elevate you, to be honest. It is, because my, my, my influence is always increasing. God is always increasing it in some capacity. And so with that being said, whatever you do on my platform, God calling you to it now— don't just join just because, just because of that, but if God's calling you to join my particular, um, um, coaching program, then it will help you. It's gonna, it's gonna help you tremendously. Okay, so I have those top 10 there. So if you are just getting on now, or if you come back, um, later or catch it towards the end, I'mma go over the top 10 really, really quickly and Um, we'll be done. So number 1 is to update and sharpen your coaching skills. 2 is to maintain professional credibility. 3 is to reignite your passion and your purpose. Um, 6 is to expand your business knowledge, which I know a lot of programs don't really go over that, to be honest. Like, like, if they do, it's very brief, very, very brief. All right, number 7, um, to really hone in on your, your niche or your calling, because you may have changed over time, right? Your coaching style can change, your, your people you serve can change. Um, to number 8, boost your confidence and your growth even the more. Um, number 9, um, you may have evolved yourself personally, professionally, and spiritually, and your coaching needs to reflect that. Okay, and then number 10, I said that my program is going to help to expand your reach. All right, I also have, um, the Faith and Mental Wellness Directory, which, um, I'm currently working on right now. Um, to increase, um, the direct-to-me members. And so it's just so much more to come, you guys. There's so much more to come. Um, I'm a doer, not a talker, so just watch, okay? Just watch. All right. I'm the mental health and faith expert that can really teach you and help you I'm on how to have that balance and how to be confident and, um, being able to combine the two together, uh, without fear of your licensure board. Okay, so I've been doing that, um, for many, many, many years, and God has graced me for it, and he's equipped me for it to be able to equip others to do the same thing. Um, and so with that too, I also have a book called, um, Holy Spirit-Led Counseling: A Guide for Christian Therapists. Um, that book also has received so much great feedback so much great feedback, you guys. Um, and, uh, through, you know, via email, you email me, Hash, I got your book, it was amazing, it really helped me, it really just gave me so much clarity and language to what I have been experiencing. Okay, um, it also come with a series as well in that book that used to be on YouTube, but the Lord told me take it down, and only those who, um, purchased the book will have access to that now on my YouTube channel.
