📣✨ Are You Distracted, Discouraged, & Disconnected: Message from the Lord ✨📣

In this live devotional, Shakeeta Torres delivers a multi‑part message centered on the dangers of spiritual distraction, discouragement, disconnection, and deception, which she frames as the "4 D's" that can pull believers away from God. She opens with announcements about new resources she has created for Christian college students—a workbook, a prayer devotional, and a journal—followed by a brief promotion of her anointing oil "Little Warriors in a Bottle". Drawing on several biblical passages (Luke 12:35‑40, John 15:4‑7, 2 Cor 12:9, Jeremiah 2, Nehemiah 6, etc.), she urges listeners to keep their spiritual lamps lit, stay disciplined, and pursue what she calls "Divine Momentum"—a God‑empowered forward‑moving force that combines speed and spiritual weight. She shares personal testimony of overcoming trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and poverty through faith, therapy, and disciplined routines (early rising, exercise, tight personal circles). Practical strategies are offered: setting boundaries, saying no, prioritizing prayer and Scripture, and seeking professional help when needed. She also promotes her Faith & Mental Wellness podcast, a free workbook giveaway for Mental Health Awareness Month, and invites viewers to comment for more information. The session concludes with a prayer asking God to help believers stay focused, disciplined, and resilient against spiritual attacks.

Hey you guys, welcome to Facebook and to YouTube. So give me just a moment, I need to, um, make sure Instagram is all set up to go. Let me go ahead and go live up here. All righty. So welcome Instagram, welcome to everybody. I'll give it just a moment to let everyone know that I'm going live. Uh, thank you for those who are getting on now. For those who will come back later, uh, welcome back to the replay. Be sure to put hashtag replay and be sure to put in the description box, hey, you know, I'm here, where you from, and all that good stuff. Okay, so I would give it just about a few more seconds or so before I start the word. Um, on this evening. So I have not been live, um, in almost— hasn't been quite 2 weeks yet, um, but I'm excited about today's word. I pray that it would encourage you, it would inspire you to keep pushing. Um, this word today is more so of like of encouragement more than anything. All right, um, so before I get into it though, while I'm waiting for everyone to get on, I do want to make a couple of announcements first. Okay, I was going to do it at the very end, but I'm go ahead go ahead and get it out, out the way. Um, and so the very first thing I want to say, y'all, is that I have a new book that just came out, okay? This right here is a workbook for Christian college students, okay? It's to help them with all types of anxiety, all right? The Lord gave me this vision for this book, uh, in the beginning of this year. And so in April, I had to hit the gas and really push this baby out, okay? And I pushed it out, you guys. So it has, um, it's a workbook with assessments in here. It has wisdom in here. You know, I share my journey about college and how I dealt with anxiety and ADHD symptoms too. And so I know it's going to be a great book. So if you are a parent of a Christian college student, uh, if you are a cousin, aunt, uncle, whoever you are, this will be a great book for you to give to them for a gift. Okay, um, I'll put the link in the description. On Facebook and on YouTube when I get done. Um, but also for Instagram, you can just put, you know, put hashtag Christian College Student Book, something like that, right? And I will send you the DM to this link. Okay, so it's available. Um, I have sold a few copies already. I did a vendor event yesterday, and then I had to speak 2 weeks ago, and it got bought there as well. And so I encourage you to get it. Hopefully you can see it. It's Instagram. Uh, and then this is on Facebook. Let me pull it out a little bit. Sorry, there you go, for Facebook and, um, YouTube. Okay, so this is an amazing resource for them. In addition to that, the Lord also had me to create a prayer devotional. This is a prayer devotional that I wrote for Christian college students too. So it's like, you know, fits in your hand. It also comes a hardback, with the hardback a little bit bigger because the company I use didn't offer this size in a hardback. So the hardback is bigger and it cost a little bit more, okay? So it is a devotional to help them with different areas of their life when it comes to dealing with failure, academic success, uh, relationships, boundaries, confidence, conflict resolution, anxiety, focus, health, inner healing, identity, purpose, discipline, spiritual attacks. Y'all, the list goes on, okay? Y'all, this book Amazing. So once again, if you're getting on just now, this is the prayer devotional for Christian college students. All right, so here it is, about to be May, summertime is getting ready to be, um, to begin for a lot of students who are in college. And when I say Christian college students, this is for those who are either they're going to a secular school or they are at a Christian college, right? Whether they go to university, um, they go to community college, right? They're in school. Um, these books will help them a lot, okay? And then also I have created a, um, journal for them. This is a journal. It has journal prompts in here, how to journal. Um, it's— y'all, God is amazing, okay? He's amazing. And me sharing this today is definitely going to go in alignment with what it is that the Lord is, um, helping me share with you all today. And then also, I don't share this very often up here because I don't really push it because it's so near and dear to my heart, but I feel led to share this day, but I also still have my anointing oil for sale. Um, it's called Little Warriors in a Bottle. I've been selling this oil since the pandemic began. I, I sold some yesterday, uh, yesterday, for two women of God, and she like, Shakeeta Torres, this oil is amazing. So anyway, long story short, I'm still selling it. People are still, still telling me how it has helped them to heal and so much more. So if you want to learn more about the oil, I put the link in the description as well, or put me a comment in the in the box, okay? Like, hey Shakeeta Torres, um, send me the link about the oil and I'll send it to you as well. All right, so I still have that. It is amazing. I use it myself every day. Even before I went live today, I put it on my ears, I put it on my back, because I carry a lot of stress on my back at times, even when I work out doing weights or whatever. My back, my ear, everything, right? If I'm going through, you know, spiritual attacks, spiritual warfare, I use this oil as well. If I'm seeing clients or whatever for, for coaching I put it in my ear. Y'all, this oil is amazing. My children have one in their book bags. My husband has one with him wherever he go. And so it's became a part of our lifestyle, to be honest. And, um, I won't go into great detail about all of this now, but I do have a series on my YouTube channel called Little Warriors in a Bottle where you can learn more about that as well, where I share my testimony and others about God has really healed them and helped them with this oil. Okay. So with that being said, you guys are getting on now. I'll go ahead and get started on the word. So as you can see by the title, um, initially the Lord didn't give me the message yet. So this was like, I think it was Thursday or Friday, I scheduled this event for today at 5:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. And I said, Lord, you haven't given me a word to release to your people in a couple of weeks. And he said, you know, I've been so busy. And he said, put a demand on yourself. He said, you know, I'm always going to speak. I'm always— he, he, he always tell me I show up and he'll speak. If I show up, he'll tell me what to say. So here I am, I showed up this morning. I woke up extra early this morning. I wasn't trying to, and he began to just share with me his heart and what to share with you all today. And it was— it's so good, it's so good, you guys. So before I get into it, I want to pray and then I'll share. So Father, I just thank you for this word today. I pray for every single person who's getting on now, who will come back later, who will watch the replay. I pray that God, it would just bless their hearts and their minds to have clarity about their purpose, their future, and what you're doing in their life, God, and not to be be distracted, God, by what's going on in this world. And so, Father, I thank you, Lord God, for allowing me to be a vessel and a mouthpiece, Lord God, for your people in this hour. In Christ's name I pray, amen and amen. And so, um, the Lord began to remind me first of a word that I gave May 2022, and the word he gave me was called Divine Momentum. Now I'm gonna get into that word a little bit at the very— at the very end, but what God was telling me was that I'm giving my people who would tap into me, the body of Christ, a momentum to partner with him, meaning that you're going to go at this speed, in this rate, to where God's going to continue to like equip you, um, you know, nurture you, uh, prepare you for what's ahead, which is like happening today, all right, 2024. And so I get into that more at the end. And so he told me to make sure I go back and watch that video, which I did, my own video, right? And so then he begin to speak to me about distractions. Oh my gosh, okay. And so what he told me all right. And it come all at one time, and I begin to write everything out. He begin to add to it. He said, many people are distracted, which caused them to be disconnected from me, which caused them to be discouraged, which causes them to be deceived, okay. He gave me 4 D's, okay. 4 D's, okay. And so what's happening is, is in right now, it's so much exposure going on. There's so much going on, so many voices going forward, so much going on in Hollywood. The body of Christ, the government, so many different sectors. And God, he like, he like trying to like prepare us for, you know, for, you know, you know, this time for a long time now, for years, okay, for many years, all right. And so he said many people are getting distracted saying, God, like, why, you know, should I keep plowing? Why should I keep going forward? Why should I even try anymore whenever it's so much going on in the world? My God. And the Lord said, keep your lamps lit. Keep your lamps full of oil. Do not— I'm listening, listen— it is not the time to go backwards. It's not the time to be consumed with social media, to be consumed by the world, what's going on, because it will cause you to feel discouraged and disconnected from God. And so whenever you are consuming so many different things, it pulls you away from the Lord and your time with him. It pulls you away from your purpose and what God has given you to do, no matter how big it may be or how small it may seem to you. And first of all, there's nothing too minor that God is giving you, right, to do for the kingdom. All right, don't take what you do for God lightly, right? I say this time and time and time and time again. Many of us are called to be up here. Many of us are called to be on social media, but not everyone's called to be up here, y'all. Okay, like, y'all, what I carry, what I have to do, it's a lot of work. It is a lot of work, but God has graced me for it. Or I'm still a mom. I love my baby so much. I'm a, I'm a wife. I'm an entrepreneur. I carry and I do a whole lot more— what, you know, than what anyone will probably ever know outside of my husband and God, okay? And so just know that, you know, it takes a lot to be up here. For me it does anyway. I don't know about y'all, but for me it does. Um, and so just don't minimize what it is that God's calling you to do. I saw a post the other day where someone posted about, you know, I'm tired of people trying to glamorize purpose like it's just big old trophy, or it's just this big old like glamorized lifestyle. It is not that way at all, especially behind the scenes, okay? As a woman of God, supposed to say, hey, I'm a grandmother. God moved me to a whole different state, um, near my grandchildren. And she thought she was gonna be in church serving, you know, building the ministry up, but God had her to help go help her daughter to build her children up. So God has called her to serve her grandchildren, to pour into them, to equip them for the future. That's an assignment. That is purpose, you guys. So no matter where you are on your walk with God, whatever God is calling you and telling you to do, it is not insignificant to him. And he gonna take your obedience lightly lightly. So don't look to social media and, you know, covet what somebody else is doing. And I get that so much, and it's aggravating to me because I'm like, you don't know what it cost me to be up here. It cost me a lot to be up here, a lot. My time, my energy, you know, the warfare that come with it, the persecution, the hate. I mean, everything, y'all. Financially, it cost me a lot, okay? And so I get into that just a moment, but I'm not gonna go into a whole, you know, rant right now about that. And so, um, so God gave me this word, okay? This is Luke chapter 12, 35 through 40. It says this: Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks, they can immediately open the door for him. 37: It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline find at the table and will come and wait on them. Verse 38: It will be good for those servants whose masters find them ready. Are you ready? Even if it comes in the middle of the night or towards the daybreak. In verse 39: But understand this, if the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let this house be broken into. In verse 40: You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him to come. And so what God is saying, keep going, keep plowing. I rather God catch me when he comes back doing his work and doing his will, no matter how bad things get, than to find me somewhere, you know, distracted and consumed and not doing what he's calling me and asking me to do, right? And it should be the same thought and mindset for every single believer. If you're struggling mentally, if you struggling emotionally, go see someone. See a therapist, see a counselor, okay, to help you to get back on track, right? And so God is not going to— my God, this is what God told me before— he's not going to require us to do something that he's not going to do himself, okay? And so I remember like maybe like 2 weeks ago, um, my best friend called me, Shakeeta Torres, the Lord told me to tell you to remain steadfast, to keep going, stay focused, you doing a good job, keep going, right? And so I look up the word steadfast, and I heard that scripture before when it came to, you know, being relentless, be immovable, also be unshakable. But in the Book of Psalms, I read in a certain chapter— don't quote me on the chapter, I'm not sure where it is right right now. But, um, the scripture kept saying like pretty much like no matter what's going on, God's love is steadfast. If a war break out, his love is steadfast. If we move his— it's like it was showing his character, the character and nature of God. And so wherever we're moving, right, and we moving and what God asking us to do, we're partnering with him. He will give us the grace to do it. He will give us grace, y'all. Like, I can attest to this today, right now, in this moment. He will grace you to show up and do what he's asking you to do, okay? So don't be distracted, okay? So let me go here. And so I said, God, let me look at scripture. Like, please show me some people who were distracted, right? And the good thing about it is they did not stay that way for long, but still it was a distraction. So we look at David, he was distracted by pleasure and Bathsheba. If you look at Solomon, he was distracted by his many wives and his luxurious lifestyle. You look at Peter, he was distracted by walking on water. He got— he became fearful. He began to have anxiety, right, and doubt. Look at Martha, distracted by her good works and forgetting to spend time with God. Look at Abraham, distracted by fear, right? He wanted to pull his nephew in there with him whenever God was telling him to leave, to leave Sodom and Gomorrah, right? You know, we have Paul distracted by his pain at times, okay? Then you look at Eve, distracted by adding the word touch and leaving out the word freely. So this is something different, so leave that part out. But Eve was distracted. She was. She was distracted by Satan, okay? Okay. And so the Lord is like, like, don't be distracted, don't be consumed. Like, I even myself, I get on YouTube, right, and you will end up going down a whole long rabbit hole. My platform of choice for me to actually go look at content on is on YouTube. For me, I like long-form content, okay? Um, and then Instagram, to be honest. But I don't have like the app on my phone for TikTok, I don't have it on my phone for, um, Instagram all the time, or Facebook, because it can lead you to be distracted and then you can go on this rabbit hole of wasting your time and you're not able to focus on what's important, right? Which could be your family, your children, which is also your ministry too, or whatever God's calling you to do. So set boundaries around your time. Don't allow yourself to get caught up, all right? Because like YouTube is the same way. You can go up there, you can get caught up. Um, the Lord had me get off of there for like almost like 2 or 3 weeks, like about, about a month ago, because like, you know, I need for you to get settled and for you to hear my voice, and you can go ahead and get this book, these books done. So in April, this month and last month too, I had to get these books done, y'all, okay? I had to get them done, and I couldn't get them done being up here on social media all the time, okay? Alrighty, so God said take the stance of Nehemiah. This is Nehemiah chapter 6 and 3, uh, so you know, Nehemiah was trying to rebuild a wall, right? And so many people were like hating on him, that was monitoring him, seeing what he's doing, trying to distract him, okay? People, some of them he knew, some of them pretended to be his friend, but he was able to discern that they had impure motives, okay? So Nehemiah took a stance. He did not allow people to distract him from his God-given assignment. So, um, Sanballat and his crew, right, cannot distract Nehemiah. So they send someone to go up and say, hey, we need to have a discussion with you. So he asked God, God, should I go? You know, should I go up? Should I go over there and check up on them? God was like, no, it's a distraction, pretty much, right? So I encourage you to go and read you know, Nehemiah, uh, chapter 6. She got— it's so good. I read through it some today, but I actually want to go back and read it some more because it was so good. And it's a prime example of distractions can sometimes seem like it's good. Like, okay, for example, I know for me, I'm asked to like speak a lot— not a whole lot, but speak on different platforms at times. And the Lord's already given me clear instruction on some things, on what to do and what not to do. And so I have to say no a lot. I have to, because if I don't, it's going to distract me from doing what God has having me to do right now in this season, you guys, I would not be able to get most of what I have done, what you guys see me up here posting, because I'll be distracted and tired. Doing public speaking is, is, it's a lot of work, and it can be very exhausting, okay? Because people are pulling on you and tapping into you, okay? Um, and so, you know, don't— so I always say, okay, you need to ask God, all right? So if you're a person who's in ministry or whatever you're doing and someone come and say, hey, can you do this for me? It is not a good idea, but is it a God idea? So first of all, ask God, my God, should I do it? He might not give you an answer. He might say yes, he might say no. But for me, if God not giving me an answer, I need to look at, first of all, okay, is what they're asking me to do in alignment with my purpose or what God's trying to take me? Okay, all right. Then I look at my calendar. Do I have the capacity for it, right? I mean, you know, look at my calendar not only just for me but also my family, my husband's calendar, right? I gotta leave room also for some error as well, so I'm not depleted. Okay, look at what I have to do. Like, oftentimes we can be so quick to say yes to things that it sounds good and we think it's going to help, help somebody else for sure, but also advance us. Okay, so it's okay to say, hey, I can't, you know. And I've had to say no, like, hey girl, I can't eat lunch with you today because I got work to do. Like, I love you, but we gotta do a ring check because I gotta stay focused. I gotta continue to do what it is that God is calling me to do, right? Because I know that it's so much attached to it, all right? So you have to have that mindset, you guys, all right? So don't be distracted. Don't be distracted. If you're a person have a lot going on, please sit down, have a list, write down everything that you have going on in your life. Take it to the Lord, say, okay God, this right here, should I do this, yes or no? Should I do that, yes or no? You need to ask him questions that he will answer you. I promise you, y'all, he cares about even a little tiny little thing that we are doing from day to day. He cares. All right, all right. And with that being said, I'll even share— it's probably about, um, this was like last weekend or two weeks ago, I had a speaking engagement. Then last weekend, um, I was in the shower. I'm like, okay God, I'm like, you know, Friday, that's what it was. So Friday I had two episodes to record for a podcast, for the podcast, right? Faith in the Wilderness podcast with Shakeeta Torres. All right, so long story short, they couldn't show up. So I'm like, okay God, I got some time today. I'm like, what should I be doing? Because I want to make sure that I'm getting things, you know, done in a timely manner. And I had forgot. He said, your content, you have not had any content scheduled out, and it actually ends on Monday. And I was like, oh snap. I said, I looked at my calendar and I said, it do end on Monday. So if God hadn't told me that, I would have forgot. But you know, that's something that God called me and asked me to do, was to post content every single day. He gave me that strategy, or it came from him. So the fact that God told me that, let me know, okay, you know, you're on the right track, keep going, keep going, keep going. All right. Right. Um, the next thing here, okay, so when you become distracted, you become disconnected from God. Think about it. When you're distracted, you're not spending as much time with God the way that you should. And when we don't spend time with God the way we should, we're missing those divine moments to partner with him. God is always releasing new stuff to us, y'all. He wants our time, he wants our affection, he wants to fill us up. Up, okay? He wants to fill our tank up. So when you're constantly, you know, distracted by people, social media, whatever you got going on, and not giving God your time, you become disconnected from the source, okay? He is the power source for us as believers, okay? All right, so John 15:4 says this: Remain in me as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. There we go. So all you guys, Instagram— oh, now it's acting crazy. Okay, there we go. Instagram. All right, so neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. So what God is saying here is that remain in him. When you remain in him, you continue to produce fruit. And you create that divine momentum that you want, right, from the Lord. Okay, if you get a chance, go back and read John 15, verses 4 through 7. I just read 4 right now for time's sake. Okay, all right. And so then he also gave me, uh, 2 Corinthians chapter 12, verse 9 says this: But he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ's power may rest on me. You guys, I'm walking it out right now. God's grace is sufficient. My God, his grace is sufficient. It really is. So as you partner with God and you connect with him and he's telling you, okay, do A, B, C, D, E, F, G, right? He will grace you to be able to do that. All right, and then C here is that when we are distracted and disconnected from God, we become easily discouraged. Think about it, it's so much going on in the world right now, you guys. To the point where you can become discouraged easily. I've had those like little periods where I'm like, oh my God, I'm like, Lord, when you coming back? I'm like, Lord, when you coming back? Because like, you know, I heard the words say, oh, the world say it's ghetto down here. It is, it is, you guys. I'm not gonna lie to you, it is, okay? It's ghetto down here because there's so much going on. People so evil. Oh my God, so evil, right? But there's still hope and there's still so much work to be done. And so when you're not connected to God and you allow yourself to be consumed by distractions, you can become discouraged easily. The word of God gives us peace. The word of God anchors us. The word of God gives us clarity. It gives us strategy if we take out time to read it. Um, just yesterday when I was doing a vendor event, um, vending event yesterday, um, I had— I told a woman, a guy told me that, you know, she was saying how the word of God, the actual Bible, is like life. And it is. Like, I read from my I actually read my Bible too, but like when I read my Bible, you guys, I open it up, it's like a— it's just— I can't put it into words. It just like refreshes my whole entire being. It's like I like become new all over again. I can breathe, okay? Because the word of God is life. If you are a believer, the word of God is life for us. So if you try to read your word and you get tired and you getting sleepy, that's not normal. That's not normal, you guys. Like That's the enemy trying to get you to be distracted and feel tired. So you need to pray and continue to press through that, right? And the more you do that, you will create a momentum, and you will actually like find it easier to read your word. So you have to press into the word, you guys. You really do. You really do. Okay, so once again, the Lord said, for those who are getting on just now, that many people are becoming distracted, which causes them to feel, um, also cause them to be disconnected from God, to also being discouraged. And the Next one here is deceived. You will become deceived because what happens is— and you guys, okay, the Lord showed me, said this is a tactic of Satan himself, okay? If he can get us distracted and get us away from the vine, which is Christ Jesus, he can have his way in our lives, okay? None of us are exempt from going through spiritual attacks, whether you're a believer or not, okay? And so his job is to distract us so he can come in and have his way. And so whenever we're distracted, disconnected, and discouraged then we are easily deceived by Satan's lies. He will lie, okay? And your discernment will be dull, okay? And as you all know, in this hour we cannot afford for our discernment to be dull. We have to be sharp, okay? We have to be making sure that who we're listening to is truly sent by the Lord. And sometimes it's hard to tell if you don't have that discernment, y'all. I'm telling you, please, please please, please get in your word. Okay, okay, so that was part 1. Um, for those of you who just getting on now, be sure to go back and watch the beginning, um, of what it was that I shared about, um, being deceived, discouraged, distracted, all that, right? And so part 2, I'mma go into the part about Divine Momentum. So I shared in the beginning of this live just now that in May 2022, I released the word of the Lord on YouTube, and it was called Divine Momentum, Divine Momentum, and it's on YouTube now. It's 25 minutes long. It's not long at all. And the guy was very specific about what he got— what he gave me to give to, to the people. He want to go, go over it again, not the whole entire video, but kind of give you a snippet. And as you can also— some things that I release in that video are happening right now. Okay, so the definition of momentum is the amount of force a moving body has because of its weight and the speed at which it is moving. Okay, momentum is a moving force that overcomes resistance. Other words for momentum, um, is drive, energy, force, power, push, and strength. My God, momentum. Okay, definition of divine in the Bible means I'm relating to God or having the nature of God. It also can mean something that is, that is heavenly, excellent, or extraordinary. Okay, and so, um, as I was saying earlier, you guys, I'm actually walking and operate in divine momentum, okay? People ask me all the time, how do you do— yeah, I do all my own stuff, okay? I do all my own social medias, I do all my content, I do all my editing, I do my own podcast, all of that on my own. And I'm like, God, how in the world am I doing this? It's God, okay? It is divine momentum, all right? And it's also discipline, okay? You have to go hand in hand with each other, okay? All right? And I still work part-time and I got a family. It's God. And nothing is lacking. I had nothing lacking at all. Whatsoever. My, my husband's happy, my children are happy. Like, it's God, okay? All right. And so, um, speed alone does not define momentum. Momentum is determined by both speed and mass, the weightiness, uh, or density of the object that is moving. The weightiness of the glory of— is the glory of God, okay? So God said this in 2022: there will be a momentum in the body of Christ like never before, a momentum to build, a momentum to tear down, and excel in the thing that God has called us to do. He said even in momentum there will be some resistance, even distractions, but God's moving force will grace us to push past it. My God, tap into God's grace, you guys. Um, and so then I put here, according to John 21:1-14, ask God where to cast your net, follow his instructions, and you will experience momentum. There will not be drought, your net will not break, and there will be plenty of harvest, and the world will know that this must be God, so the world will know that what you're doing is God— it's by God's grace, okay? The spiritual momentum, divine momentum, can help you withstand the relentless wicked attacks of the adversary and throughout his efforts to erode our personal spiritual foundation. My God, many actions can ignite positive spiritual momentum. Obedience, love, humility, service, and gratitude are a few. So what God was saying here was that, you know, So in that momentum, he's creating your character. He's creating, um, a level of obedience in you. It's so much he's doing in you, and you personally would know what that is, okay? God, he will tell you, he will show you what it is that he's doing in your life. So tap in, tap into that, okay? Um, and I put here, um, this is the season of stewardship in which we must focus on gathering resources, leaders, skills, knowledge, and so on. But there comes a time when God speaks to us and he says, it is time for an encounter with my presence. And when the weight of my glory collides with your preparation and your obedience, you are going to experience unstoppable momentum. My God, so it takes obedience to experience divine momentum, okay? And I put in here that, you know, the Lord, he is, uh, wanting people he's calling to the forefront to obey. It's still so many of you guys who was sitting on the sideline like, God, why me? 'God, I can't do this. God, I'm scared. God, I'm afraid.' I know because I meet people, people this way all the time when I'm out and about. I'm at work, wherever I'm at, they're like, 'How do you do it?' I'm like, 'It's God. You gotta do it scared. Do it anyway, okay? Push past whatever you're going through. Do it. Just do it. There's no more time to waste,' okay? And so finally, at the very end, the Lord had gave me Jeremiah chapter 2., and I read the whole chapter that particular day. And this is what he says, that he is sick and tired of prominent leaders living a life of sin and rebellion. He's about to expose them openly because he has warned them privately time and time again. Um, I, I pray that they will repent because this is going to shock a lot of people. The Lord says, says that this is one of the reasons why we need Divine Momentum, because those who are weak in their faith will be tempted to fall away from the faith, and we must be in place to catch the sheep My God. So in 2022, in May, God gave me this word. So in fall of last year, and I kept saying the same thing throughout the past two years, and then at the end of last year, he says, Helen, that time is up. And baby, when I released that last word, my God, it was like the floodgates open. Jesus, my God. And as you can see, it's so much being— of course, some of it is lies. It is. But see, this is why the enemy uses distractions, right? So you have God who's working working, you know, exposing things over here, then the enemy trying to, you know, get clout too. The enemy love attention, okay? He loves to be seen. That he was prideful, okay? He was beautiful, all right? He could sing. He loves to be seen. So he's always trying to do exactly what God is doing so he can get the shine. So yes, God is exposing things now, but also the enemy is doing a whole bunch of dirt too to distract us from the truth, from what's really going on, okay? All righty, that's all I have for you guys. Let me look at your comments real quick. Now, some of you guys commented— oh, got a lot on Facebook over here. Uh, look on Facebook. Somebody said, uh, Sin Star— oh, Bianca said, though, ability to hear from God. Okay, yes, thank you, woman of God. Absolutely. Um, Thank you, God. Distracted. Yes, thank you for taking notes. Okay, okay. Yes, hallelujah. That's right, Divine Momentum says. That's right, Divine Momentum. Thank you for getting on. Okay, so then, um, look over here on Instagram, see what you guys have over here. Okay, and I'm right here. Yeah, so I'm gonna pray and then I will be done, you guys. You have any questions while I'm on? After I pray, I'll look again. Um, but once again, um, don't get distracted so you won't be disconnected, so you won't be discouraged, and you won't be deceived, okay? And God wants you to operate in divine momentum. Oh yeah, and discipline. Lord told me to say also, um, operating with divine momentum requires discipline. And so I'm gonna share a little bit about my own story, okay? How I had to remain disciplined, okay? So one of the things that helped me to remain disciplined is working out. All right, so I have a membership in my area at Orange Theory. Okay, so I have to have accountability when I work out. All right, I'm really good, and with my work ethic, I'm really good with when it comes to my time with God for the most part. You know, I'm not perfect, but like me having that structure and waking up like 4 in the morning, sometimes 5 o'clock. So I wake up between like 4 to like, like 4 to 5 every day almost, okay? Even this morning I was up at 6:00 AM. And not only that, I don't go to bed late, all right? I might lay down by 9:30 at night, and then by 10:30 at night I'm usually asleep, okay? So that way I can be prepared to wake up the next morning. Now, I have had time where I had to be up late to finish these books, but it's been very, very seldom, you guys. And I'm also very strategic about who I give my time to to, okay? I don't give my time to just anybody. I try not to anyway. I know things come up. I mean, I have a business to run and I have my ministry to run, right? And so I do have to respond to people's emails sometimes, you know, DMs, you know. I do the best that I can, okay? But I'm very picky about my circle. My circle is tight. People who are in my circle, they give me life and I give them life, meaning that we pour into each other, okay? Um, I have an amazing husband. My husband is my king. I say king, not saying he trumps Christ. That's what I'm saying. But my husband's supports me. Y'all don't see him up here like that, and he's more of an introvert, uh, you know, he'll come up front whenever he get ready, all right? But he is full of wisdom. He covers me, he prays for me, uh, he gets on live while I'm live, whether he's at work or if he's home, you know, in the garage working, doing work for other people, working on cars and whatnot. He has it on, he's praying for me, interceding for me. I have my prayer circle of people that acting like, hey, can you pray for me on A, B, C, D, E? So like, best believe that you're going to be, um, experience, um, distractions. They're always going to come, right? I do, I get them all the time. Like, it could be like, for me, I'm, I'm not a combative person. Now, I don't, I don't have a problem confronting people, but the issue is, are they ready for confrontation? Like, everyone can handle confrontation. So I have to be very, like, prayerful about how I handle conflict too, because that can also be a distraction. And I'll even share my best friend's story. Like, just the other day, you know, she, you know she right now, she going through a very, um, intense transition right now. And you know, the Lord already been guiding her and leading her, and she had to make a very, very hard decision that God leading her to make. Long story short, she only shared it with me and maybe, you know, a few other people. Well, because she wasn't sharing all her business with everybody, people that, that knew her were upset with her, like, hey, we need to have a meeting with you, what's going on, you know, you know, we want to check on you. And I'm like, girl, that's a distraction. And the Lord began to minister to me and tell— he said, hey, tell my daughter, tell her her. It's the tactic from Satan. He is trying to distract her and pull her back into a lifestyle where she was, you know, trying to like please people, trying to share, you know, trying to like explain her life away. And y'all, I'm not doing that, okay? I, I have no problem coming up here saying what God had to say, and I'm, I'm done, right? I do my work, but I'm not looking for no one's validation. I'm not looking for anyone's permission. I'm not looking for anyone to say, Shakeeta, good job, right? I look to God to give me that, right? And of course, you know, I thank God for those of you who encourage me. Thank you. Keep doing that. That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is I cannot move and operate based off of people and what they think, okay? You can't do that. You have to be focused, y'all. Like, I'm telling you, I know— listen, I can discern a room. I know where I'm places where I'm not accepted or I'm not wanted there, or that like the spirit is rejecting me. But if God's telling me to stay and to stand, I gotta stand in it, okay? And so it does take a level of, um, how do I explain it, uh, boldness. So you need to ask God, God, give me holy confidence. God, God, give me boldness, right? Whatever it is that you need to work on, please work on it, right? My life has been a journey. If you guys have watched me for a while now on social media, you know some of my story, where I come from. I come from pure trauma. I come from poverty. I come from a lifestyle of just pain as a child. I had a horrible childhood for the most part. And so God had to take me on a journey of healing then I became a therapist and so much more, right? But it was the journey. But I had to fight. Basically, I had to fight for it, okay? I am a warrior in, in the spirit. So I had to war for my destiny. I'm still warring for my destiny, okay? So don't think that, you know, whenever things happen and attacks happen that you're doing something wrong. Oftentimes you're doing something right for the most part. And it goes back to ask God, God, why is this happening? And the time I've been through warfare, God was telling me, I'm using it to sharpen you. I'm using it to sharpen your, you know, your battle axe, right? To strengthen my— because for me, y'all, I'm really nice. I love people. I'm real chill. I'm down to earth, right? And so I am very, um, looking for— I, I don't want to use the word I'm looking for. I love people. And so it doesn't— so I'm slow to anger, slow to anger, and I'm quick to listen, okay? And so because of that, people take my kindness for weakness. There you go. Kindness for weakness. And they think, oh wow, Oh, but she's so nice, she needs— I can just— No, you can't. No, ma'am, you cannot. And so I said, boundaries of people, they can become shocked because they're like, wow, I thought she was— I am nice, but baby, I'm not, I'm not slow. I see you, I see you. And so, um, I just thank God for his grace. And I— one of the things that I struggle with coming into this, into this arena of social media and ministry, right, on this level, is I'm like, Lord, I love people, but people's motives are not always pure. And I'm like, God, I'm gonna about that, right? I want to do what you asking me to do, and that's it. And the Lord said, do you trust me? Do you trust me to show you their hearts and their motives whenever they kind of approach you and come to you? And I'm like, yeah, God. And he did. Oh my God, in 2023, I had did a podcast episode called Beyond My Reach. 2023 stretched me, okay? It stretched me because God was exposing every single person's heart was in my life around me. To me, and it was hard. It was very hard because I love these people, okay? It was very, very hard. And I had already kind of saw some things here and there, and they didn't say anything to me per se, but God was showing me in the spirit, y'all. He was showing me in the spirit their hearts towards me, but in my faith it was acting, you know, not trying to hide it, but I can still see a little bit of it. But God showed me the full throttle in the spirit, all right? And so don't think that, you know, your destiny, your purpose is not going to be— it's going to always be cookies and cream, because it's not, y'all. But it's worth it. Once again, I rather fight my way through. I rather fight, you know, and be on the Lord's side, and sit here and settle, and sit here and be deceived by the enemy, and not walk in purpose. I have reached a point in my life where me not walking in my purpose hurts me, meaning it hurts like spiritually and physically. I feel the weight and the pain of not walking this thing out. And so I can't go back. I'm not going back. I'm going to look look forward. So you have to have that mindset. You have to really discipline yourself to have that mindset, you guys. You do, you do. Be relentless, okay? Be relentless. That's all I have, all right? So I wanted to share that, some transparency for you all. Um, so I'm gonna pray and then I'll be done, all right? Okay. So Father, I just thank you right now for this word. I thank you, Lord God, that you love us so very much that you want, you know, us to hear your heart and what you have to say, God, about us being distracted. Help us, Lord God, to anchored in you, Lord, to seek you in every single detail of our lives, my God. And to seek you, God, even whenever it's hard, even whenever our flesh wants to do the opposite, Lord. Help us, Lord God, to train ourselves to be disciplined, to hear your voice, God, to seek you and to ask you about who we follow, where we go, um, places that, you know, things that we do in our ministry and our jobs. God, help us, God, to have a heart, God, posture to just hear your voice, because you got— you love us so much, Lord. And I pray, God, for every single person up here who is battling with any kind of rejection, um, anxiety, depression, whatever they're going through. God, God, give them a strategy. God, God, show them what they should do, God, in order to get breakthrough. Because God, you know exactly what they need. You know what each and every single person need, God. And so Father, we thank you and we love you. We thank you, Lord God, for just being a good, good Father. In Christ's name I pray, amen, amen. All I have— I'm gonna see your comments. Okay, yeah, that's right. Divine momentum requires discipline. Thank you, you're so you're welcome. Thank you for staying on the whole time. I appreciate it. And then for those who are still on, I have a quick announcement again. So May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and so, um, I do have a podcast called Faith and Mental Wellness Podcast. The guy told me to release that the beginning of this year, and I actually interview guests who are therapists, who are life coaches, um, who are people who have testimonies to share about their mental health and how God has brought them out, whether you went to go see your therapist or not, right? The guy— how God healed you, right? And so I'm interviewing these people. And also, um, May is Health Awareness Month, and I'm giving away my book called Unashamed: The Workbook for free. So I'll put the link in here for you guys. It's a link, you have to go to it, sign up to receive the full, um, PDF file. I don't have the book in front of me, but it's a good book, you guys. Oh my gosh, like, I've had honestly more men get the book than women because there's so many things that we've done wrong, or, you know, we've made mistake, and the enemy want us to remain like in this like state of like self-condemnation. But God wants you to be Free, free to be, you know, free to be you and free to be who God has made you to be. All right, so I'll put the link in there as well. Um, and again, thank you all, um, so much for getting on, on Instagram and on, um, YouTube. Yes, and Facebook. Look up here. You're so welcome, Thrift for Fit. Thank you for staying on. I appreciate it. I pray that this blessed you today. I'm trying to pace myself to get through it. It was just so good. I get so excited. Amen. All right, so I will see you guys next time. Um, be sure to like, comment, share, uh, with your network. I really appreciate it, and I will see you guys whenever I have some more words to share. All right, bye.
