I'm doing a pop-up live. I'm actually going to go live as well on Facebook. I'm going live on LinkedIn and I'm going live on YouTube. And so welcome. I will give, um, each platform a couple of moments to let everybody know that I am live. Hello everybody, good evening. You know, typically I'm not going live in the evenings too much because I got my own family and stuff going on, right? But I just got finished, um, doing a workshop on human trafficking. Hello, hello! And so I was already in the mode of talking and engaging and all that good stuff. I want to come up here, you guys, and share some good news with you. I'm so excited. Okay, so the news that I have for you guys is that my book Unashamed is finally finished, you guys, here in my hands. Okay, so this is a book/workbook that is for the believer who is battling with shame, with self-condemnation, with having a hard time forgiving yourself, um, having a hard time even forgiving other people, um, from the things you may have been through. Okay, So I've actually had this copy for about a week, and my husband took out time this past week and read through this whole book for me to make sure that it had all the edits done right, to make sure everything looked good, and I could have a third pair of eyes. I already ran it through a person that, um, that could do it for me before, but I wanted to make sure. So he did find a couple of errors in here, but not much at all. And so the book is finally finished and edited, okay? You can purchase this book on my Lulu store, or, um, you can purchase it on my website called www.empoweredpurposeacademy.com/shop. So it is here. So let me read what it says at the very front, okay? So this is a unique book and workbook combination that consists of understanding shame Identifying shame and overcoming shame through coping skills, the word of God, and prayer. Whomever the Son sets free is free indeed. This is John 8:36. It's my book, y'all. I'm so excited. So prepare to be sick of me. Prepare to see me, um, really push this book and really just, uh, to share with— it's a great tool. So let me go back, y'all. At this point, whoever follow me and look at my content, you already know that whatever I create, you guys, is truly led by God. It is led by the Holy Spirit. And this book right here is no exception. All right, right whenever God gave me the whole vision for the Faith and Mental Wellness Summit, he told me, he showed me in a dream that I was to write this book. Called Unashamed. In my dream, I saw the printing company. In my dream, I seen the size of the book being an A5. It's a, it's a smaller size. I seen the logo on the front of the book. I seen everything. And he began to download into me what this book— what should be in this book, and it should be a workbook/book. And so part 3, I'm sharing my testimony about shame. I'm sharing, um, what shame is, what it looks like, giving you coping coping skills, but I'm giving you strategy that I would give my client if it was my therapy client, what you could do for homework. And then at the very end, I'm giving you scriptures, the word of God, to help you to truly break the barriers of shame and to become unashamed of your past mistakes and things that you have been through. Okay, and so I encourage you to get it. It's not thick at all, it's straight to the point. My husband told me, he said I love your book because it's so straight to the point. Y'all, I don't like fluff. I don't like reading a lot of fluff. I don't like talking a whole bunch of fluff. I like to get straight to the point. Um, the only reason why I'm going on and on now is for those of you who are coming in and dropping by, who are passing through on my social media platforms, okay? And so again, it is called Unashamed If you are someone that you know that are— that's battling with shame of any kind, please recommend this book for them. It's going to set them free. And so the question you're probably wondering is, how do you know that you may be battling with shame? Okay, and so the number one thing is, um, how you see yourself. What are some of the things that you are telling yourself about who you are, right? Um, shame can start in childhood. Um, shame can start whenever you've experienced, um, some kind of trauma. Um, shame can come from, um, here it is right here in my book. It can come from cheating on your significant other, being abused by someone physically, mentally, and/or sexually, allowing yourself to be in a relationship where your partner abuses you physically, emotionally, sexually, and/or mentally, committing a crime that you may have regret not being what you think you should be in life based on your age and/or your societal standards, being told or made to feel by someone that you are a mistake and a failure, feeling like you are a horrible parent for past mistakes, causing harm to someone else and you were trying to change but shame has a hold of you. Okay, as I was writing this book, y'all, even now I just feel the fire of God. I say that humbly, but as I was writing this book. I literally feel Holy Spirit just guiding my hands, guiding my thoughts, guiding me on what to put in this book. And you guys, like, writing this book, it was just so, ah, refreshing for me. And I was so excited because I know this book is going to bless so many people. And so it is good. Actually, what God showed me was that this book is going to be a big part of churches, okay? Because this is where the target is, the body of Christ. For those who are in church, for those who are unchurched, who don't go to church, but they believe in God. Okay, um, this book is full of scripture, full of strategies and techniques I've learned over the years that is sure to help you to rethink and see your situation in a different light. Okay, because as you know, God does not want us to walk around in shame because shame keeps us away from him. It keeps us away from seeing the best in ourselves. It keeps us from healing. It keeps us from our purpose. It keeps us from so much, you guys. And so shame is really from the enemy, all right? It's normal to feel shame about certain things that happen, but the thing about it is God does not want you to stay there. He does not want you to stay in that place. And so again, you get a chance, check out my new book. It's called Unashamed. It'll bless your life, and I will talk to you guys soon. All right, bye.
