Shakeeta Torres offers a brief prayer encouraging believers to make Christ's name known in their workplaces. She references John 17:24 and asks for strength and strategy to live out this purpose.
Father, we bless your name this morning. We honor you and we love you. So Father, this morning I ask you, God, that you remind us, Lord God, that our purpose is to love you, to honor you, to do your will, and to make your name known on earth, just like Christ did in John chapter 17, verse 24. He says, Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am and to see my glory, the glory you have given me, because you love me before the creation of this world. Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them. So Father, help us to understand that no matter where we work at, no matter what kind of job we may have, that God, we have purpose and we can make your name known here on earth. So Father, encourage us, give us strength, and give us strategy. In Christ's name I pray, amen.
