Shakeela Torres teaches on divine momentum, the Holy Spirit's force that overcomes resistance through obedience, love, and service. She warns that God will soon expose hidden sin in prominent people and urges repentance. Following God's specific instructions, like the fishing net in John 21, ensures your ministry or business won't break and will yield harvest.
Chapters
Hello, welcome. My name is Shakeeta Torres and I am the Lord's messenger, and I have a specific word from the Lord that I received today that I need to release to the body of Christ. And so bear with me, um, we should be here maybe about 15 minutes or so, but wherever the Lord lead me, that's what I'm going to say. So Holy Spirit, I just yield myself to you, God. I yield my ears and my eyes, God, my mouth, my mind, my soul, my heart, my everything, Lord God, to be able to execute the word that you have given me, Lord God, for your people. Father, help me, God, to say it, um, clearly, Father God, so they'll be able to understand it, Lord. I pray, God, that, that this word blesses someone, that this word will cause someone to come to repentance, and that this word will cause people um, to hunger and thirst after you, God, like never before. In Christ's name I pray, amen. So as you can see right here on the screen, the word that the Lord gave me was Divine Momentum. Divine Momentum. Okay, and so, um, if you guys have watched me before on any of my, um, YouTube videos from the past and recently, I always have a story as to how God gives me words. And I love it because majority of the time I'm not really seeking him to give me a word for the body of Christ. I'm just seeking him, just saying, God, here I am, I want to get into your word, I wanted to study. And so out of that, he will start giving me rhema words and revelation, and then it ends up being the word for the body of Christ. And so I want to share, um, a little bit about the story of what happened. And so, um, long story short, um, I went to the gym this morning, I worked out, I was able to go live on my Instagram page, give a word of encouragement and just say what was on my heart. Um, so I came home, took a shower, and I said, you know what, today I'm going to really just dig in my word, um, the whole day. Because, um, yesterday I was so busy with, um, a lot of work, and I don't ever want to be consumed with work. I don't want to be in that place where I make work my idol. And so, um, I try my best to be very intentional about making sure I spend time with him, not just, you know, reading a devotional or reading, but actually digging in the word. And so, um, I hadn't read this particular devotional in a while because it's a book that God had told me that I'm to read over the past 2 weeks. And I read the book, the book was amazing. And so I ended up, um, pulling out my Prophet's Devotional by Apostle Jennifer LeClaire. And I'm the kind of person that, let's say I'm reading a devotional, right? And like, even if I'm not on the same day and where I left off, I'll continue to read where I left off. Like, for example, the devotional left off like the very end of March, okay? Because from April up to this point, I've been reading, um, a book that God had told me to read. It was very meaty and very, uh, just so good. And so I picked it back up. I said, oh wow, it's been since March since I actually read this particular book. Or devotional. But then I heard the Lord say, I want you to go and read the devotional for today, which is May the 6th. And if I keep looking down, I'm looking at my iPad where my notes are at, okay? And so, um, as I was, you know, reading a devotional, it was about, um, Jeremiah and the prophet and how God was, um, speaking to him and asking him, like, you know, what do you see? You know. And so when Jeremiah told God what he saw, then God was able to give him revelation because he was asking, okay, God, what does this mean, right? So oftentimes whenever God show you something, ask God questions. And that's what Jeremiah did. It was almost like, you know, God was commissioning Jeremiah into his office. I'ma let him know what he did, let him know, you know, you're my prophet, you're my mouthpiece, I need you in this hour, um, to to speak, um, to Israel about some things, okay? So if you ever read the book of Jeremiah, you already know that it is very meaty. It is like, uh, mind-blowing. It's just, uh, okay. So anyway, I read chapter 1 and I read chapter 2, and chapter 2 is very detailed. Chapter 2 is literally God sharing his heart of just how disobedient Israel had been, how they have worshiped other gods how they, um, you know, was worshiping Baal, a false god. Um, everybody was doing that, from the leaders to the prophets to the teachers. I mean, the whole land was just pretty much corrupted. And God was just sharing his heart with, um, Jeremiah as to why he was getting ready to bring, you know, on destruction, uh, on the land, exile, um, to the children, um, of Israel. So I read that a little bit, and I was just, you know, reading and reading and reading. I'm like, wow, God, I said, are you asking me to read this whole chapter? Like, God, what do you want me to do with what I'm reading? Because I could tell that it was something that was— God was stirring up in me. And so, um, he didn't say anything to me right away. I just kept reading. And so then, um, I, I remember I had cut my phone off and my husband had left to go, um, to the chiropractor. And when I picked up my phone and put it back on, I got distracted. So I was like, oh man, I'm like, Lord, I'm like, oh, I'm so sorry. I'm reading this word and this word is, um, so good. Um, he was, um, I was like, um, Lord, I said, um, I lost my momentum. And when I said the word momentum, the spirit like slapped me. Like, like when I say slapped me, not well, yeah, it slapped me. I fell out the chair. On the ground, and I was speaking in my heavenly language and just like praying. I'm like, am I— God, like, what in the world? Like, wait a minute now. When I said the word momentum, you just like— why'd you knock me out like that? Like, because I couldn't— I couldn't like— oh God, I couldn't like stay in my chair. Like, it literally knocked me out my chair onto the floor. And I'm looking at my— our dog looking at me like, what's going on? But he should be used to me now. He know how I am. I'm very random. And I pray in the spirit, you know, throughout the day. I try to anyway, um, at home when I'm at home, when I'm out and about. So anyway, so long story short, um, I got myself together after about 5 minutes or so, and I'm like, God, I'm like, this is, this is heavy. I'm like, what are you saying to me about the word momentum? And he said, I need for you to like research the word momentum. I said, okay, God. I said, well Um, I, I can do that, you know. So I began to like look up, you know, the meaning of momentum. And then, um, I felt led to look up just momentum in the body of Christ. And so I came across so many different articles of other believers who have wrote articles about momentum in the body of Christ. And, uh, most recent one was from 2017. I couldn't find anything that was like 2022. 2021 either. And, um, they all had some of the very, um, has some like recurring themes to them. And so I said, God, I'm reading this, but God, I want to hear what you're saying specifically right now in this hour, um, to the body of Christ. Obviously at this point I have realized it was a word for, a word for God's people. And so I'm gonna read it, so bear with me, um, okay. And the Lord said that there will be a momentum in the body of Christ, there would be a momentum like never before. A momentum to build, a momentum to tear down, or momentum to excel in the things that God has called for us to do. Even, even in momentum, there will be momentum, but God's moving force will grace us to push, to push past it. So what he was saying here was that we will face some opposition, but God's grace is going to be our moving force to grace us to push past it. Okay, um, and so when I was reading that, I'm like, okay God. So the, um, the definition of momentum is the amount of force a moving body has because of its weight and the speed at which it is moving. Momentum is a moving force that overcomes resistance. My God. And so I was reading it, I'm like, wow God, like the, the moving force is the Holy Spirit, the moving force is the weight of God himself and the speed at which it is moving. So in a nutshell, God is saying that for the believers who are serving him, who are after his own heart and in ministry, you know, he's going to accelerate us. He's going to, um, you know, we're going to have this like divine momentum to do the things that God is calling us to do. And I'll get to that in a moment as to why he needs us to be in this momentum flow, like right now, not tomorrow, not next year, not next month, but right now. Okay. And so, um, as I begin to study, um, some more, I said a spiritual momentum can help us withstand the relentless wicked attacks of the adversary and throughout his efforts to erode our personal spiritual foundations. Many actions can ignite positive spiritual momentum. Obedience, love, humility, service, and gratitude are a few. These are all fruits of the Spirit according to Galatians chapter 5 and 22-23. It says that, but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.. And as you can see in the book of Jeremiah, the children are here on the children of, um, Jerusalem. They were disobedient, okay? They were not portraying the fruits of the Spirit, okay? And so, you know, I'll begin, and I kept reading, um, and then I said, um, that's what it says. There is a season of stewardship in which we must focus on gathering resources, leaders, skills, knowledge, and so, and so much more. But there comes a time when God speaks to us and he says, it is time for an encounter with my presence. And when the weight of my glory collides with your preparation and your obedience, you are going to experience unstoppable momentum. It is time to position yourself to encounter God, not only in our personal devotional life but also in our family life, our everyday life, our relationships, vocation, businesses, church, and ministry. Hello, that sounds good to me, right? Momentum in all those areas. Okay, and so when you think about momentum, you think about what? A continuous flow, a consistent flow, right? Like no breaks. It's like, shoo, we're just going, it's just going, right? So many of us have felt and saw like dips momentum in our businesses, in our homes, in our churches, in our family, in our life, in our health, right? So many different things we've been experiencing, right, over the years. But God wants to make this thing a continuous momentum. Thank you, God. A continuous momentum. Thank you, God. Yes, shakeeta Torres, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, God. And so in that Um, I was sitting there with that and I began to meditate on that. I'm like, okay God, what else? What else are you saying? And he began to say, this is a two-fold word. I'm like, oh. So the other side of this word is that God is saying that he is getting ready to have full exposure of prominent people. He is pulling back the veil. This is why the momentum has to happen, because the people who are, um, who are babes and who are in need of, you know, support, who are, who are in need of breakthrough— God needs for us to rise up, okay? Because whenever he exposes these prominent people from the things they've been doing behind closed doors, just like in the book of Jeremiah talking to, you know, the children of Israel, the people of Jerusalem, right? Um, if I said, uh, Israel earlier, I meant to say this to the people of Judah in Jerusalem, okay? And so God is saying, you know, that he has warned them time and time and time again. There have been warning that has come forth. I know that there are some other, um, prophets on YouTube as well who has been given these like prophetic words. I mean, I even have heard words from people in my, in my, my circle, um, some of the same thing. And God is like, he's very serious about that. So don't be surprised whenever you start to see, you know, news come out about these prominent people, because it's going to be open. It's not going to be in private, because God has already warned them in private and they have not listened. God has not given me specific names of people. I can only kind of guess, but but I'm not putting it out there because God didn't tell me to. Okay, so he is gonna do the exposing. All right, he might use people, situations. I don't know how he gonna do it, but it's gonna happen. All right, and so these people who are prominent people around the world are going to be shocked. They're going to be in like, pishy babes. Like, so many people like put people on the pedestal, and the word of God clearly says that test the fruit by the fruit. My God, I'm thinking about people now that I know for sure, like, oh Jesus. My God. So I pray that they, uh, repent and get it right before this actually happens. It is not too late for them to repent. But even reading the book of, um, Jeremiah, you know, and God was talking to him about, um, the people of Judah in, um, Jerusalem. They— he still— he gave them time to get together and they still didn't get together. Like, there was a gap, I think, about 70 to 90 years, I believe. But they still did not get it together. They still wanted to, um, to, uh, worship false gods. They wanted to operate in lust and greed and fornication. Um, raping God's sheep is raping them, um, spiritually raping them, financially raping them, even physically, okay, sexually raping them, okay. And God is sick of it. He is so sick of this. He's like, it's so— he's so sick of it. And so, um, that's the part 2 of the word. But for those of us who are in the secret place, for those of us who are truly after God's own heart, expect momentum. And so I'll share this word with you too. So probably a few days ago, one of my, um, sisters in Christ, they gave a word. Um, it was, uh, Jeremiah— Jeremiah— um, John chapter 21, verse 1 through 6, to what she gave. And she was saying how God was saying, um, that for us to cast our net, to cast our net, and to, you know, follow God's instructions. Because you can read in, um, John chapter 21, um, Simon Peter says— Simon Peter, uh, the sons of Zebedee, and disciples, they all went together to go fishing. So they had been fishing all night long, and I'm paraphrasing, by the way. I mean, uh, they had been, uh, fishing all night long and they could not find any fish. Then Christ shows up on the scene. At first they had no idea who he was, and he told them, cast your net to the right side of the boat. And when they did, they caught all these fish. They caught all these fish, y'all. It was so many. It was, it was 153 large fish. Okay, so if you read down, this is what blessed me. This is what blessed me right here. So the net and the fish were so— it was so much and it was so heavy, but the net did not break. All right, and I shared this word too as well with, um, the prayer group I'm a part of. And the Lord is saying that some of you've been fishing and y'all have been doing the work of the Lord, and it's like, God, where's my harvest? Where is it at? I'm waiting for it, right? But God is saying follow his specific instructions and you will have a harvest, okay, in your net. You are the net. Your, your vessel is the net, okay? Your ministry is the net, okay? Your business is the net, okay? Your church is the net. And so, but the net didn't break. And so I know for me, sometimes I'm like, Lord, I know you have called me to do so many different things. And one of the things that I pray, oh my God, give me the strength, give me the grace to be able to carry all of this weight, because it's weighty. And you know, I don't want to become overwhelmed. And like, God spoke directly to me and said, daughter, your net will not break if you follow my instructions. If you do what I ask you to do, your net will not break. And he told me to release that word to the prayer line, and he told me to release that word today here as well on this, um, video about casting your nets and how it will not break. I feel God on that. So go back and study that, read John chapter 21, verses 1 through 14 to get more clarity. As far as the book of Jeremiah, I asked God, I'm like, Lord, you know, what else you want me to share? He said, tell the people to go study it. He said, go read it. He said, go read chapter 1 and chapter 2, and God will give you revelation as to what else he is saying about, about the book of Jeremiah, because we prophesy in part, we know in part, and God will give you things that he didn't give me, okay? There's words that God gives other people that he doesn't give me, but whenever you put those words together, it should all flow. It should all have a flow to it, okay? And so then, um, before I got on, I was asking, okay God, like, what else do you want me to say, Lord? And he said, um, give them the word that you gave my client the other day. So I have a client, I've been seeing her for a few weeks now, and right from the beginning when I first met her, I already knew who she was in Christ. I already knew who God had called her to be. I already knew her office and all that stuff and what God was calling her into. She's not in the office now, the prophet, but I can see that on her clearly. And, um, the Lord, um, told me— I said, God, when I go to session with her today, I'm like, Lord, what do you want me to say? And the Lord said, um, ask her— no, um, ask her who, who is she. Ask her, do she know who she is, right? And he said also, um, ask her, tell her that I have need of her. And so I did. I said, the Lord told me to ask me— to ask you, do you know who you are? And she begins to laugh, but she was like, yeah, I already know where we going with it. I keep hearing the same thing. I said, the Lord said he has a need of you. Okay, so for those of you who might be listening to this video and this is hitting your spirit, this is— this word is for you. Like, God has need of all his people right now, every single last one of us. There is no small i, there is no little i, however you want to say it there. I mean, he has— he needs his team to rise up, all right? Answer the call. Get in a community where you can grow and where you can learn. If you you don't have community, comment on my video below. Let me know, hey, where you at? What's going on? And hopefully I can give you some insight and some direction because God has need of you. He has need of you. He really does. Um, and so that is the word that I have, uh, for today. I'm also ask God, you know, okay God, do you want me to share this with, um, on the video as well? And so, um, as some of you may know, I'm also a, I'm a life coach, you know, I'm a therapist. Among many other things, most importantly, my life is surrendered to the Lord. I try my best to operate in the spirit of obedience. I'm not perfect, nobody is. So recently, for one, the Lord had pretty much, you know, called me to create and lead a prayer hub in my region. So I'm in North Carolina, and he had called me to start a prayer hub under Apostle Jennifer LeClaire's ministry.. And so we have our first Zoom meeting on, um, Wednesday. Um, people have been asking me if they can join it if they're in a different state than North Carolina, and you can, you can, but be led by God. There are prayer hubs all over the world for you to join. They're prophetic cultures where we are praying, um, for the nations. We're praying for our regions, our cities, our homes for revival. We're praying for, um, the economic crisis and things like that. So this is you know, prayer, okay? There's nothing— it's not— it don't cost you anything unless you want to sow into it, because it costs the leaders, us, to run it, okay? We have to, you know, pay a monthly fee. We have to, um, you know, I'm using Zoom, I'm using, um, Mailchimp. I'm paying for that because I care about the vision. I, I'm investing in the vision. And so they need the funds to pay for their admin staff. They need the funds to be able to, you know, cover, um things in the ministry technology as well. So wherever you're sowing into it, you're so— you someone to cover those costs, okay? So that's what it's— that's what it's for. It's not for me, Shakeeta Torres, personally, all right? Um, and so I want to invite you to that if you're in North Carolina. I'll put the link in the bio link below in this— in the, um, in the description box. Um, also, um, I have two other programs that's getting ready to— getting ready to birth as well, what has already birthed. Um, for one, um, I have a program called How to Set Boundaries God's Way, where it will be— it will start June 7th, and it's for Christian women who have a hard time with setting boundaries and saying no in relationships and, um, their family, at work, um, ministry. Like, if you have a hard time being assertive, if you have a hard time, you know, putting yourself first and being obedient to God— because God, we're not yes men, we're not people pleasers, that's not how God created us to And so that's for you. So I'm not going to go in great, great, great detail about it, but it's also going to be in the, um, in the description box. And you can follow me on Instagram. I'm on TikTok now as well. I'm giving like, you know, tips about mental health, tips about faith, um, what God is sharing with me to share with you all, all that good stuff. Um, also I will be launching, um, the first cohort of my, uh life coaching certification program for, um, Christians, whether you're a man or a woman who would like to get certification. I have so much knowledge, so much experience. Oh my gosh, you guys, I have a lot of, like, a lot of, like, a lot to pour out. And so that link will be in the description box as well, where you can, um, take a survey to let me know what your needs are as I continue to put that together. All right, amen. So I'll see you guys next time. Like I said, when I give words, it's not planned out, it's what God gives to me to give. He tells me when, where, how, and I had to give the word today, the day I received
