You told me to come out here and wait. You told me to come out here and do all these great things for you in your name, and all I'm getting is pushback. I keep getting pushback, pushback, pushback, pushback, pushback. And that's how it is sometimes when you waiting on God to fulfill a promise for you. You get pushback from your family, you get pushback from the enemy, um, you get doubt, you know, rejection. People think you're crazy for going doing all these things for the Lord. Come on, come on, somebody. I know I'm talking about myself because I, I've been there, okay? I'm coming out of that right now as we speak, okay? I'm waiting on the Lord to fulfill his promise that's already fulfilled in, um, in heaven. I'm waiting for it to manifest here on earth. And I knew what God showed me, but I got weary. I got weary. And you came to so many different crossroads where you wanted to kind of just give up, say, okay, God, you told me this, I'm tired. I'm moving on, I make my own way, or whatever the case may be. Okay, apply this word to your specific situation. Okay, so then he said he came in a gentle whisper. We're waiting on all these things to, to happen and all, you know, the glitz and the glam and all this other stuff when God is saying, I'm coming to you in a gentle whisper. So to sum it up, what God is saying to his people who are waiting for his promise to, you know, to be fulfilled in their lives is he said, I'm getting ready to pass you by. I'm getting ready to pass you by. And you're gonna be just like Elijah. When God came in that gentle whisper, he covered up his face because it was so much, it was overwhelming. God's presence is so strong. If you ever been in the presence of God, You cannot sustain all that glory standing up straight like this, like we are right now. You will literally cover up your face, you will bow your head, you will do something to reverence his presence. Even the enemy bows down to him. His presence is so, so powerful, but it comes in a gentle whisper because God is a gentleman. He really is. There's so many, uh, God has so many different characteristics about him. And one of them, he is gentle. He's not going to force himself on you. He asked Elijah to go, to go out. He asked him to— he said, 'A lot.' And not only, not only that, he's like, 'Elijah, what are you doing here?' He asked him that twice. 'What are you doing here?' So some of you are like in a crossroad where you got to make a decision whether you're going to go right or whether you can go left. Going left means forfeiting your promise that God has given you. Going right means walking into your purpose, your destiny, and walking into your deliverance, your healing, your breakthrough. Your increase. And so don't forfeit it because God is getting ready to pass you by. He is getting ready to pass you by and you will not be able to sustain it. It's going to be overwhelming in a great way, in a beautiful way. He's going to blow your mind. And so with that being said, um, you know, I knew what God had said to me and I kept— I said with this word for a little while. And actually, it's my second time recording this video, to be honest with you guys, because the first one I did, he told me to kind of wait. I was tired that night. But, um, it was long. It was like 25 minutes long. And I said, God, this is not— this is too long. And I feel horribly because I want to get this word out to you guys as soon as possible. So what I did, and I, you know, I had to ask God to forgive me for that because I'm not perfect. So, um, I, um, had called my sister and I had talked to her about it. This is my spiritual sister, my sister in the Lord. Um, I said, girl, this is what God told me. I wanted to share it with you personally because this blessed my heart because she's been waiting for God too to fulfill a promise her, promised this for her, okay? And she told— she said God told her that he would get ready to blow her mind. And, um, at her church that she goes to in, um, out of state, she said that, um, her pastor was telling— was telling the congregation the same thing, that God was getting ready to pretty much pass them by. He didn't use the same word, the same scriptures that I use, but, um, I'm pretty sure there's other examples in this Bible to be able to use, but God getting ready to pass you by. But that's what God had given to me, had given to me, um, it was just so powerful and it blessed me. Another, uh, part of the word I wanted to give you guys because I was studying and reading it— I urge you to go and read this, read this, this book, read this, um, chapter specifically, chapter 19, about Elijah and his encounter with the Lord and how God, you know, passed him by and he restored him. He gave him more strength too to even keep pushing, to keep going, you know, in the right— he actually sent him help. He sent Elisha to come help him. So those of you that have big promises and things you have to do, God has not forgotten. He's going to send you help. He's going to send you help. So anywho, I also wanted to share that, you know, sometimes we think that God is moving so slow And I did it. Time like God, you taking a long time. Like, Lord, it's been about a year and a half. What is going on? I'm doing everything I can to make this thing work, you know. And I feel like I'm not really seeing an increase, you know. And I'm not— it was increase coming, but not like I wanted to. Okay, so anywho, uh, it's, it's coming from 2 Peter, um, chapter 3, um, verse 8. And it says, but do not forget this one thing, dear friends: with the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some under— as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. So it's pretty much saying that we think God's slow, but he's not. God knows what we're ready for. In the waiting is pruning. In the waiting is him, you know, preparing you to receive the promise. Because he don't want you to mess it up, you know, with whatever you're dealing with. He knows what's in our heart. He knows what we can handle. And sometimes God give you a promise too quick or too soon, you might, you probably might mess it up. Not only that, people are tied to your promise. If you're in ministry and God has given you a promise that he's going to fulfill, there are people that is going to be tied to that promise. So the harvest has to be ripe too. So this word is just— oh my God, it's so multi-faceted. Okay, I hope I pronounced that word correctly, but this word is so rich and there's so many layers to this word that I can literally be up here with you guys for another half hour or so really just breaking down this word even the more and how to really apply it to your life and your situation. Um, but I really want to give you just the meat and the potatoes of the word. So I urge you, if you feel like this word is for you take it, digest it, sit with God about it. I know some of you, God has already told you this. I feel like whenever God— what I know, that whenever God gives me anybody a word for the body of Christ, he's not giving it to one person, he's giving it to multiple people. So it's his way of like confirming that, yeah, this is me. Because I was like, okay God, I'm making sure— I knew, I know it's you, but let me make sure by calling my sister and giving her this word. And she said, Shakita, you're right on point, Shakita. Everything you're saying is in my spirit. I touch and agree with that word. She said, girl, I can't wait for you to release it. Because God gives me word for people all the time, but you know, I don't get a word for the Body of Christ, you know, all the time. And that's okay, that's not how he uses me. I'm fine with that. I don't have to be on camera to get somebody a word. Um, but this is a beautiful word. And guys, I know for me, I'm so excited because in this— in the past couple of weeks, I've just seen things like transition. And he told me, he said, you get ready to be busy. You're getting ready to be busy. So any loose ends that you have that you can tie up in your business or things at home, you know, make sure you do that because you're getting ready to be busy. And I have, I've had a long week, but a good week. I'm not going to complain because this is what I prayed for. This is what I asked for. This is what God promised me. And this is what God put on my heart to do as far as my ministry. So I'm dressed up in the, you know, today because I just left a speaking engagement where I talked about mental health and faith and, you know, and I incorporate those two things together. And so I enjoyed it. I was there all morning. I just got home a few minutes ago, but I love every bit of it, every minute of it, because I'm walking in my purpose. So, but anywho, I hope and pray this word blesses you. Have a great weekend, and I'm gonna upload this video right now. Have a blessed day. Bye.
