Season 3 (Bonus Episode): Agility-November Prophetic Word

In this bonus episode of the "Pain, Passion, and Purpose" podcast, host Shakeea Torres introduces herself, outlines the podcast’s mission to blend mental‑health education with biblical teaching, and promotes her Empowered Purpose Academy services and paid community. She then shares a prophetic word she received on November 1, centered on the theme “agility.” She explains that God is calling believers to move quickly, gracefully, and wisely into uncharted territory, citing Matthew 10:16 (sheep among wolves) and Habakkuk 3:19 (the Lord gives the agility of a deer). She urges listeners to apply this agility to fulfill God‑given assignments and possess the land. Torres describes her personal practice of recording prophetic words using the Journey app, reviewing and praying over them for confirmation, and warns against false prophecies. She models a detailed prayer that repeatedly invokes the word “agility,” asks for divine strength, wisdom, and protection from deception, and encourages listeners to journal, study Scripture, and pray into any words they receive. The episode ends with a call to subscribe, review, and visit her website for further resources.

Hello everyone, welcome to this particular episode, as you can see by the title, it is a November prophetic word that God gave me on November 1st, first thing in the morning after I headed to the gym, called Agility. And so it was not my intention to put it on my podcast, but I was just informed by some of my past and current coaching clients that they do not engage on social media like that. And so they go to my podcast and binge on all my episodes. So thank you guys so much, I really appreciate it. So this is for you. For those who are not really on social media but love to hear podcasts, I definitely understand. Social media can be very overwhelming and distracting, and so good job for you for setting boundaries, okay? And so I posted this word on my personal Facebook page first, and it just, it just took off. And I posted it on my Facebook business page and Instagram, on TikTok, and then on YouTube, and the response has been amazing. So this is not God's first time giving me a word for body of Christ, like, ever. Like, it's not. But this word, um, was so timely for so many people, and it really was confirmation for so many, including myself. And so I pray this word blesses you. If this is for you, grab hold of it and continue to speak, God, thank you for agility. I've been doing it every day myself. God, thank you for agility. God, thank you for agility. And so it's only about 2 and a half minutes long. It's very short., and I will talk to you guys soon. But also, I will try my best to do bonus episodes, um, during the weekday, um, and repost content that I have posted that's very, um, important for people to hear also on my podcast. So I might not be able to do it every week, but I'll try my best to include some bonus episodes up here for you guys. So thank you, thanks again for all your support. Don't forget to leave a review, um, don't forget to share, subscribe, and all that good stuff. And go to www.shakeetatorres.com to hear some of my blogs, um, to not hear but to read some of my blogs and to see what I offer. Okay, so talk to you soon. All right, bye-bye.
Hello everyone, happy November! And so yesterday the Lord gave me a prophetic word for November. After I had left the gym, typically I'll sit in my car and read a devotional or pray. And in my time of reading my word in my truck, I kept hearing the word agility. And so I said, God, like, what are you saying?
Like, where is this word coming from?
And he said, this is the word for my people for the month of November. I said, wow, God. So I began to study this scripture out and figure out, you know, what God was was saying in this hour. So agility means to move quickly and easily. It also means to understand quickly and the ability to be quick and graceful. God is saying that in this season, many of us will be trotting on uncharted territory and doing things we have never seen others do. Many of us will not have a blueprint, and it's going to take God to lead us step by step. He is sending his sheep out among wolves. Matthew 10:16. God said we need agility to carry out our God-given assignments in order to possess the land. So Habakkuk 3:19 says this: The Sovereign Lord is my source of strength. He gives me the agility of a deer. A deer is what? Quick, graceful. And they're very alert. He enables me to negotiate the rugged terrain. The definition of terrain is a geographic area, a piece of land, ground, the physical features of a tract of land, in a field of knowledge or interest.
My God.
So whatever it is that God has instructed you to go and possess to go and work at, to go and prophesy, to go and build. Know that God is giving you agility to be able to move with ease, grace, wisdom, and ability.
I thank you for your word.
Amen. Y'all have a blessed day. Hello, so I am back.
So I am posting this today But I actually scheduled for it to post over the weekend. But this morning, which is on Wednesday, the day this episode will post, the Lord put it on my heart to actually go back to this episode and pray into it. I didn't pray into it, uh, live on Instagram or Facebook or any other place. Um, at that moment, I just felt led to just release a specific word, but the Lord was like, teach people, show them, you know, what you do to press into my word, to press into my presence. And so for me, I try to record every single prophetic word that God gives me to me personally, or he gives actually to other people. So if I can remember for other people, I try to record it as well. I use this app called Journey, J-O-U-R-N-E-Y. And so whenever I have dreams and visions and I hear from the Lord about myself from him or from other people, I will write it down and then I will go back and I will like review it and pray into it and meditate on it and also seek the Lord and ask him if this word is from him. Because as you know, sometimes, you know, receiving false prophetic words is real. And it's so important to go back to God and get those answers from him for confirmation. So that way you're not holding on to something that he never said. I, for one, have actually counseled people before who have received false prophetic words and false prayers that was not from the Lord, and it really caused them to be angry with God or be in distress.
And so, you know, I know I heard God on this word.
I received so many confirmations about it. And every time I say the word agility, the Spirit of the Lord just falls on me like so heavily. That's one of the ways that God confirms for me if something is from him, because sometimes it can be, you know, a little confusing if you're, if you're still like a baby, right? But my husband actually prayed a specific prayer for me, is that whenever I receive words from other people or words from God that I will be 100% sure, and the Spirit of God would just, you know, would just endow me. And God did it. So thank God for my husband, because, you know, I'm not going to go deeper and deeper into that conversation, but I do want to pray into this word and just show you how I pray into it. It's only an example. This word is, um, you know, it's just one word, but it can spear off into, you know, into other things, you know. And so this is how, um, you know, I would do it. Father God, I just thank you right now for agility. God, God, thank you for your word. Thank you, God, for trusting me, Lord God, with this word to release to your people. Father, I pray right now, God, that you would give us agility, Father, because according to your word in Habakkuk chapter 3 and 19, it says, the sovereign Lord is my source of strength. He gives me the agility of a deer. He enables me to negotiate the rugged Taryn. So Father, I thank you, God, that you are my strength. I thank you, God, that you are my source, God, and not my resource. Father, I thank you, God, that this month and moving forward in the months to come, that I will have agility to be able to move, to be able to possess the land, to be able to, um, to do what you have called me to do. Father, I ask you, God, to help me, Lord God, to always come to you for strategy, to always come to you for answers, Father. I'd like to always seek your face, God, to remember, God, that my life belongs to you, God, that God, the blueprint that you have for me can only come from you. So Father, I thank you for your wisdom. I thank you for insight. I thank you for knowledge. I thank you, Lord God, for stirring up my spirit even now, God, to be able to pray into your word. Father, breathe on me, God. Breathe on me, God, afresh, oh Lord God. Father, I ask you, God, to expose any spirits of deception that may try to come against your word. Father, I ask you, God, to allow me, Lord God, to continue to pray pray your word in season and out of season, Lord, to remember, Lord God, that we should remain anchored in you, anchored in your word, anchored in your promise, anchored on what you have called us to do. So God, I thank you again, Holy Spirit. I thank you, Holy Spirit, Lord God. Oh God, for your word agility, agility, agility, agility. God, God, every single time, Lord God, we come up on situation, Lord God, that we may become confused about, Lord, help us to remember that, God, we have agility in you, and to ask you, Lord God, for direction, for clear direction, God, for clear answers. Oh Lord God, in Christ's name I pray, Lord. Amen and amen. So I had to come back and release that to just let you guys know to pray into the words that God gives you. If you have words that you're holding on to, go back, oh, go back to that word find you a scripture to go along with it. You can do a quick Google search, it's not hard. I ask Holy Spirit to just guide you, um, in your study because this is what breaks open—
my God—
the word. This is what keeps you anchored, what keeps you encouraged, is praying into the word that God— that you know God has given you. So this point moving forward, I'm not 100% sure, um, how often I'm going to do it yet. But for the past like 2 or 3 weeks, it's been on my heart to start doing, uh, specific prayers on my podcast for mothers, fathers, women, men, for specific, um, areas that God's put on my heart. So, um, stay tuned for that. Watch out for that. I'm still doing Thriving Thursdays, um, on Thursday at 12:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. Right now I'm on Facebook and, um, Instagram going live. Okay. So if you're able to tune in, tune in. Otherwise, I will try my best to put it on the podcast. Have a great Wednesday, and I will talk to you next time. Thank you so much for tuning in to today's episode. Our prayer is that this podcast episode has blessed you. Don't forget to go and subscribe and leave us a raving review.
