In this episode of the "Pain, Passion, and Purpose" podcast, host Shakeeta Torres, a licensed therapist, life coach, and kingdom‑entrepreneur, opens with promotional announcements for her Empowered Purpose Academy, the Christian Leadership Coaching & Mentoring Program, and a paid podcast membership/mentorship community. She then shares a prophetic word that originated from a dream her 7‑year‑old daughter had about giants, a house of gold, and a Christ‑like giant handing over treasure. Shakeeta interprets the dream as a symbolic “wealth transfer” that God is moving from spiritual giants (the Nephilim/Goliath archetype) to the body of Christ. She grounds the vision in biblical passages about giants, the Nephilim, and the story of David and Goliath, extracting eight strategic lessons from David’s victory (belief, questioning, courage, recalling past wins, using familiar “armor,” confronting the enemy, immediate obedience, and surrounding oneself with supportive allies). The episode culminates in a call for listeners to “possess the land,” encouraging them to apply these principles, join the mentorship community, and pray for empowerment. The episode ends with a heartfelt prayer for listeners to awaken spiritually and claim the promised inheritance.

Hey you guys, welcome back to Pain, Passion, and Purpose.
And so today is another Thriving Thursday video that I did a live stream on Instagram and Facebook.
Listen, the response to this video was just so phenomenal. I received messages, comments, and people who know me personally texting me saying how much the word had blessed them. And so I'm just a vessel, and, um, stay tuned, stick in there, listen to the word. When I get really excited, I start to talk really fast, so excuse that. I apologize in advance, but the word was just so good to me. It blessed me tremendously as well. And so I pray that you're doing well. And if you're able to catch me live, you can do so on Instagram on Thursdays at 12:30 PM Eastern Standard Time, or on Facebook at Shakeeta Torres. At 12:30 PM EST on Thursdays. Also, my mentorship program is open now. I'm paying Passion and Purpose. The Lord has given me specific instructions on going ahead and open that up, and also, um, how much to charge.
He gave me all that.
And so the mentorship is a monthly membership where you pay like dues. The price right now that God gave me was $147. And so for that, we will have like mental health education. We will, um, talk about your relationship with God, hearing God's voice, understanding your purpose and your identity, and just so much. We will meet at least once a month via Zoom, like a Zoom meeting to kind of talk and encourage each other. And, you know, I can talk to you, ask questions. But the Facebook community, you can always ask questions. I'll definitely go live in there as the Lord leads me and really pour into women, pour into young women who feel stuck, who need support, who are like, I need a mentor, I need someone to help me to grow in particular areas in my life, right? And so God has released me to do that. So if you're interested in that, you can visit www.empowerpurposeacademy.com to learn more about that and to apply. So I want you to apply, and once we review your questions to assure that you're a good fit, then we'll reach out to you and let you know. So talk to you guys soon.
So, um, welcome Facebook, welcome Instagram. Thank you guys so much for being here, and just know that I do have a word from the Lord. I am super excited. Okay, um, so before I start, I just want to pray and clear my head after getting this whole situation cleared up. So, Father, I Just thank you right now, God, for every listener who's coming on, for every listener who would tap in, God, even later. Father, I just thank you for the word that you have given me today. Father, I pray that it blesses your people, it edifies them, God, it encourages them, Lord God, and it causes them, Lord God, to thrust into the next season, to thrust into what you have for them, to thrust into the new. So Father, I just thank you, God. I give you the honor, glory, and the praise. Father, speak through me. Father, have your way. In Christ's name I pray, amen and amen. So thank you guys again for being on. Blessings, blessings, blessings. And so, um, let me go to the beginning. So as many of you guys know, I'm a licensed therapist, I'm a life coach, ultimately I'm a kingdompreneur, and I am a daughter of the Most High God. How about that? So let me go back just a little bit and share with you guys how this word came to pass. For me. So on September 7th, my youngest daughter, who is 7 years old, came to me and she said, Mommy, I had a dream last night that, um, I was somewhere, you know, some— she was somewhere in her dream and she saw all these giants, all these giants around this, um, house. The giants were cooking, they were cleaning, they were just having a good old time. And she said that there was a house that they had that full of gold, okay? Then she said one of the giants came to the house and scooped up some of the gold and gave some of the gold to her. But then she said, she said, but Mommy, the giant looked like Christ, like Jesus, to her, because she was like, it was so bright to the point where I couldn't see the giant's face, but I knew that the giant had pretty much like turned into Jesus. And so I'm like, okay God, I hear what she's saying. I know what her dream pretty much means. I said, but Father, you know, give me, give me like more revelation on what she saw. So again, you got it, it was September the 7th, okay? And so fast forward to September 20th, you know, this was earlier this week, I think Tuesday night, uh, when I was asleep, I heard the Lord clearly tell me, he said, I want you to share what Alluria saw with the people for Thursday, for Thriving Thursdays. So I woke up, I said, okay God, I'll do that. And so I already knew what that meant for me is to go back and study, go back and seek God, go back and search the scripture to get revelation as to what God, you know, want me to share in reference to her dream and what that means for us as the body of Christ. Oh child, let me tell you something, the Lord, he spoke. Okay, I have a whole bunch of notes to share with you all today, but I'm gonna try my best to concise it but also not leave anything out. So lesson number 1, I want to share with you all that some of you guys who are watching now probably already know this. You know, God speaks to us in dreams and visions, and I have been having dreams and visions pretty much my whole entire life. Okay, it's like if I don't dream or have a vision, to me that's foreign. Okay, I don't feel right, something's not right. God, what's going on? And so my youngest daughter— I have two daughters, 11 and 7— my 7-year-old is also a dreamer and a seer as well. So she has dreams and visions just like I do. And so often, you know, times she would come to me and say, "Mommy, I had this dream. This is what I saw." Sometimes it's from the enemy, sometimes it's from God. And so we'll just pray into it. Most of the time I'll have her draw her dreams out on a piece of paper so I can see what she sees, because like when I see what she sees, it helps me to be able to interpret a lot better what God is saying. Okay, um, I have— oh God, I have so many examples and so many stories of the dreams and how some of her dreams has actually saved our lives. Okay, and so it's her mom, it's my job to steward that. It's her mother, it's my job to let her know, baby, you're not crazy. Baby, I believe you. I'm mommy the same way. Okay, she's very artistic, meaning she can draw really, really, really well. Okay, she's very detailed. And so, um, I went to the Lord. I said, okay God, you know, I see her, you know, she told me she saw the giants and she saw this house full of gold. And of course when you hear the word giant, we already know giants are huge, giants are big. And when I think about a giant's house, I think that the house is typically what, taller than them, bigger than them, because they have to be able to go in and out of the house, right? And then she said that, Mama, but it was Jesus that I saw that gave me the gold? The first thing that came to me was wealth transfer. All right, and so I began to do this, you know, I'm going to go back and do a little bit of studying because I truly believe in bringing scripture to this. Because, you know, everybody had their own thoughts and opinions about how tall the giant really is. So I looked it up. So if you look at 1 Samuel, um, chapter 17 and 4, it talks about, um, they, um, Goliath. It's like the most well-known giant in the Bible, right? As far as we know, and he was 6 cubits in a span. And so the average height for that is about 9 feet tall. Okay, so who are the giants in the Bible? They were the Nephilim. They were violent superhuman offspring produced when wicked angels mated with human women in the days of Noah in the Book of Genesis. So the Bible account says that the sons of the true God began to notice that the daughters of men were beautiful. Those sons of gods were actually spirit creatures who rebel against God when they forsook, forsook their own proper dwelling place, right? So, you know, the Bible talks about how a third of God's angels, you know, went with Satan because they turned their back on Christ, right? So the hybrids born from this unnatural union were no ordinary children. It says in the book of Genesis chapter 6 and 4, the Nephilim were giant bullies. They were tyrants who filled the earth with violence. The Bible describes them as the mighty ones of old men, the men of fame. They left behind a legacy of violence and fear. And so in my mind, I'm like, well, Lord, the giants didn't bother her. She wasn't afraid of them. So, okay, God, keep, you know, talk to me. What's going on? And so one of the things that God, you know, began to speak to me about was again the wealth transfer, okay? And so this is what I wrote in my study time. I said, listen, we have seen the wicked store up and get ahead because of the resources they possess. They have bullied, often lied their way into getting what they want, and has overpowered God's people. The wealth transfer is happening now, and the people who are like the giants will be moved by God to hand over some of the wealth they have stored up The body of Christ is victorious, and it's time for us to truly walk in our rightful places and possess the lands. And today's live is called Possess the Land, Possess the Land. So the fact that she said one of the giants became like Jesus lets me know that Jesus pretty much like instructed them, inspired them to hand over some of what they had to my daughter. Okay, like they had no choice because Christ pretty much made them do it. Okay, and in the Bible, you know, giants are known as people of fame. They have power, they have money, y'all. Because when you go back and you look at the story about, um, Goliath, it describes to you what he wore and what he looked like and everything. He had bronze everything, okay? He had a bronze shield, a bronze vest, a bronze like hat for battle. I mean, he had it all, okay? So they had money, okay? They lacked for nothing, okay? Hey, how you doing, sis? Thank you for joining. How you guys look? Thank you for joining. And so then, um, God gave me this scripture. 1 Corinthians chapter 1 and 19 says this: For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and the intelligence of the— and the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate. Okay, and then it says in, um, verse, uh, chapter 27, it says, but God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things and the things that we are not to nullify the things that are. So that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God, that is our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. Therefore, as it is written, let the one who boasts boast in the Lord. And so I'm gonna go a little bit deeper into that as to why God gave me that. But what God was telling me, was showing me, was that the wicked, they store up treasures all the time. But God is literally transferring some of those treasures to the body of Christ so that we can possess the land, so that we can do kingdom work, so that we can, you know, have, you know, live a life God wants us to have. He wants us to have nice things too, right? Many of us have been working really, really hard. I can say that for myself, to truly build the kingdom of God, right? And I'm pretty sure many of you guys you know, have I already heard some prophetic words go forth about the wealth transfer? Okay, and so this is a word that God gave me specifically. So go, go back, listen to different voices, listen to what they're saying, and put these words together, and everything should flow. It should be a flow, right, of a combination of what God is saying in this hour about the wealth transfer. All right, and so let me go back. So the Lord said, was saying that this dream is symbolic of what God is doing now in the spirit. And soon you will see that the wicked, just like the giants did, will have to do what Christ commanded them to do, which is to give you your stuff. Give it yourself that you've been praying for. Give it yourself that you have been contending for. Give it a thing that you— things that God has promised you. And so the word gold, I looked it up, okay, in my Dreamers Dictionary, and it says God's divine nature, glory in the faith of the saints, purity, fire, precious treasure, wealth, prosperity, favor, and inheritance. And as I wrote that, I put, my God, this is so, so, so beautiful. This is what God has given us, you guys, right now in this this hour, okay? And so as I went back, um, okay, so Proverbs chapter 13 and 22 says, a good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children, but a sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous. That's where that dream— I mean, that part I was saying before came from when it comes to the wealth transfer, okay? Yes, thank you, sis. So I want to go back a little bit. So this is what really got me— got me going, you guys, and over the past hour or so. So Holy Spirit took me back to read about David and Goliath, right? And of course, we all should know the story about David and Goliath and how David, you know, pretty much killed him. He beheaded him, and he beat him with a stone in a sling. Okay, but very rarely do I hear people talk about the meaty, juicy details of the word of God and how, and how David was very strategic and how he won this battle, how he won the wealth transfer for his people, for the people of Israel. Okay, because the deal was if, you know, David and his camp won, then they will receive like all this stuff, right? Like the Philistines will serve them and vice versa. So, so if Goliath would have won, which is part of the Philistines, you know, camp, then they would have been, you know, ruling over David and ruling over Israel. Okay, so if you go back and let me see, Ephesians— 1 Samuel chapter 17 and 39. So remember, with David people didn't believe he could win. People didn't believe that David was equipped and that David had what it took to win the battle for Israel, okay? But David was adamant. David was courageous. David was like, no, we're gonna get this land today, okay? I got faith. All right, how you doing, sis?
Yes.
And so the number one thing that David did was believe. My God. He believed that the harvest that, you know, that, you know, you know, that God had for him to win or overtake was theirs. And as believers, we have to believe in the will transfer. We have to have faith and expect that God has not forgotten about us. Okay, number 2, David asked questions. Okay, he asked questions to Saul. He asked questions about, okay, what's the deal? Okay, what did they say? Like, what, you know, what, you know, you know, tell me more so I can be prepared, right? So ask God questions. Ask God about this word. Ask God about what you should, should be believing him for, and then go back and listen to other prophetic voices that you trust to test this word. Okay, number 3, David was courageous. Okay, even though they talked about David, said you're too young, you're little, you can't possess anything, he, um, God said don't worry about the naysayers but keep going. Don't back down from your promise and forfeit it. 1 Samuel 17:39 says David told Saul, let no man's courage fail because of him. Because of who? Because of Goliath. Okay, do not let your courage fail you. Okay, the fourth thing that David did— what is so good to be y'all— he remembered David remembered the battles that he had won before through Christ. And the Lord is saying, think about the battles that you have already won and know that through God there is nothing too hard for him, and this battle is no different. If you look at 1 Samuel chapter 17, verse 34 and 37, it says David reminds Saul how God had empowered him to kill a lion and a bear, and this time he is going to kill Goliath. David declared that my God will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine. My God, my God. Okay, the fifth thing David did, he changed his clothes. Now David changed clothes twice, okay? Look at scripture. First he changed into like this, you know, all this armor and all these different things that he was not familiar with. Right? He said, no, no, no, no, no, let me go back and put back on what I wore and what I'm familiar with when I beat, you know, won the battle whenever I killed the lion and the bear. So he had a sling, he wore basic armor. And for us, our armor is the armor of God according to Ephesians chapter 6, verses 10 through 24. Read it. The armor of God is powerful. The armor of God is— whoo, y'all, trust me, like, that's a whole teaching all by itself. I have used the armor of God in my life so many times. I have seen the benefits of that. Number 6, David talked back to the devil, okay? And so in this situation for David, he heard so many naysayers, he heard so many different things that what he shouldn't, shouldn't do. Whenever Goliath came up on him, oh, who are you? Who do you think you are? You aren't equipped, you're not— who are you? David said, I belong to the Lord. I mean, David talked junk to Goliath, okay? Like, I could just see Goliath like hovering over him And David is like, uh-uh, Goliath, I'm not moved by you, okay? I'm empowered by God, my God. And then number 7, David obeyed God immediately, okay? So God is saying, move swiftly. Do not sit on the instruction God gives you because you will probably talk yourself out of the promise and forfeit it. You have to be bold. You have to obey God immediately. I'm telling you, I can look back even over my own life, and the thing that God has asked me to do sometimes can be so like terrifying, right? And you're like, okay, I'm gonna do it. But then if you sit down on it too long, you'll end up saying, you know what, I can't do this. You know what, I'm not equipped for this. You know what, people gonna talk about me. You know what, I'm gonna look crazy, right? So David didn't give no room for the enemy. David didn't give, give any room for him to even second-guess what God could do through him. Him by killing Goliath. My God, holy— that's right, sis. Holy boldness. Holy boldness. There's things that God has given me to do. I'm like, okay God, I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it, you know, next week. Nothing. No, no, no, no, no. I need for you to do it now while the fire is under you, while you feel empowered, while you feel encouraged. If you don't, you might not do it later. So move swiftly. Ask God for instructions. Ask God to show you what you should be doing right now in this hour to possess the land. And number 8 is possess the land like David did, okay? Surround yourself with people who have the same heart and the same mindset as Christ, as you. Oftentimes, I know for a fact a lot of people forfeit things that God has for them, or they lose out, or they get distracted sometimes because they're surrounded by the wrong people. Who you surround yourself with matters. Who you tell your stuff to, it matters. Who you allow to pray for you, it matters. It matters. And because of that, God gave David Jonathan. He gave— he gave David someone who, who was like, believe God for him, who loved him, who supported him, who wanted to pour into him, who treated David like he would treat himself, if not better. And we all need a Jonathan in our life. You are a person who God has called to go and possess the land. You cannot be surrounded by people who have no faith. You cannot afford that, not in this hour, because you will back down. You would doubt yourself. You would doubt what God is telling you to do. That's right, everybody can't go. That's right, sis, everybody cannot go. And I thank God I had my Jonathan with an S at the end. Okay, I'm grateful for them. That's Shakeeta Torres Torres.
Go!
What did God say? I'm like, yeah, you right, sis, you right. God did tell me, yep, go, go possess the land, right? You need people who are going to push you into your next season, okay? And so listen, y'all, this word, it blessed me tremendously. This is all that I have for you guys. But listen, go back, look at the replay if you can. Go back, look at these scriptures, study. I encourage you to go back and read in detail, you know, what happened with David and Goliath. Because here's the thing, like, David's father was prepared to just forfeit the fight. He was prepared to say, you know what, this is too hard, this is just too much for me, this is too much for my family, we can't beat that big old giant out there, right? But God used David to go in there and speak life. God used David to go in and, you know, you know, to go in there and make a declaration and to be bold in Christ, okay? And so I don't care how old you are, I don't care where you live, I don't care about your past, I don't care about any of that, and God don't either. God is calling you to something new right, right now. Okay, right, right now. And so go back and read it. And as I said before, you know, this transfer is not going to be— it's not going to be hard for God, put it that way. But what happens for the body of Christ, some of us get distracted, some of us get discouraged. And so I pray this word has caused you to be encouraged and it's caused you to like, okay, let me get back out here in this field and keep fighting the good fight of, um, you know, and keep fighting the good fight of faith. And so I want to pray. So Father, I just thank you right now for your word. I thank you, Lord God, for the Davids out there. I thank you, Lord God, for people, God, who are just rising up to the occasion and praying and seeking your face and fasting and who are, um, you know, determined to possess the land. Father, I pray for every single listener right now who will come later, every listener who's on right now. I thank you for their support. I thank you, God, for them tuning in. Father, I pray for a strength, Lord God, for them to just surround them like never before. Father, Father, we quench every fiery dart of the enemy with your word, God, with your power, with your anointing, and with your authority. Father, we speak life, Father, life into things that seem dead. We speak life into our families, our children, Lord God, our homes, our jobs, our businesses. Oh Lord God, Father, we ask you just to have your way, God, and just to breathe on us afresh, breathe on us anew. Father, open up our eyes to be able to see in the Spirit, God, so we can see exactly what you're doing in the hour. I command the body of Christ right now to wake up, to wake up to what God is saying, to wake up to what's going on around them and not be spiritually dead, not be spiritually asleep, but, but to be awake, awake in a way of your presence, Father. So God, we just thank you. We thank you right now, God, for your word, and may it bless your people, Lord God, in this hour. In Christ's name I pray, amen and amen. So yes, you guys, thank y'all so much for watching. Uh, thank you for watching the replay, and, um, I will see you guys next week, prayerfully, in Jesus' name.
Amen.
