Season 4 (Episode 3:) How God Healed My Daughter from Bronchitis

Hey you guys, welcome back to my podcast. And so before we get into today's topic, um, first of all, I want to say that I did not go live on Thursday this past week for several reasons, and so I'm just going to be fully transparent with you as to why. Um, number one, I am tired. I am tired for different reasons, you guys. Um, and I'll share— I will share with that with you all. Um, to my faithful listeners, thank you all so much for being here. Um, but for one is because, um, I've been working out really hard this week, so my whole body is extremely sore. So that makes me tired, right? But that's okay. I've been there before and had to push past But also my allergies are kicking my butt. They have been kicking in. My children are on spring break, and for the past 2 or 3 days I've been working really hard on some things that God has given me to work on. And so today I need to take out time to spend with them more. I'm gonna give them the rest of my day and just spend time with my babies. I'm pouring into them, you know, go do some things together and all that good stuff. Um, the fourth reason is, um, my spirit— I'm spiritually burdened. I'm spiritually burdened, um, because, you know, I had made this post on Instagram maybe— it's been about maybe 2 weeks ago— of something that God had put on my heart, um, in reference to, um, the body of Christ and how so many, you know, leaders are falling, um. And you can— I can clearly see the, the divide. I can see the divide as to where it's being very clear as to who's lukewarm. It's very clear as to who's on whose side, whether it's God's or the enemy, by their actions and by the things that they say. And, um, it's very heartbroken, and I'm not gonna lie, I have been crying about that a lot. I really have. Um, the weight of, um, feeling God's heart about this matter and seeing people just have no reverence for the Lord. And now when I'm saying this, of course, people who are in the world who are not proclaiming to be believers, I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about people who are saying they are believers, they're leaders, they're Christians, they, they love God, they got it, they're number one, right? And of course, none of us are perfect and we all fall short. That is not what I'm talking about. But what I'm talking about is people who are saying one thing, but then they're allowing the things of this world to corrupt their ministry and to corrupt their actions. And so I'm not going to get into all of it. You can probably go to YouTube now and see so many different things that is up there that's going on in the world. I, um, try my best to only talk about the things that God released me to talk about. Um, there have been times when, um, the burden of what's going on in the world has been so heavy for both me and my husband that we wanted to, you know, share it, you know, socially on social media. And the Lord was like, no, I need for you guys just to pray and intercede. And so this is one of those times where me and my husband really have been just crying out to God, and I just been crying before the Lord and just interceding and praying, um, for these people because, um, some some of you guys, you know, know I'm very passionate about, you know, leadership, people being led the right way and being steered in the right direction. And so when you have a leader who has this huge platform and then they're leading people astray, that's a lot of people, that's a lot of souls, because not everyone, um, is grounded enough in Christ to be able to truly discern right from wrong. That's just the honest to God truth. I've been there before myself, I can say that. Um, and I— my discernment is very strong at this point, and it continues to increase. And so I know what God is pleased with and what he's not pleased with, even with myself. Okay, so yeah, and so this is where I am today, you guys. I am like, God, I'm tired, I need a break today. I really need a break to just debrief, just to pull back, and just to like spend time with my family. So, um, with that being said, I will share some other good things that are going. So, um, one, over the past 2 weeks, um, I have been, um, doing the Fire Prayer Wall under, um, my Apostle Jennifer LeClaire. And that is the, um, the prayer wall where there's prayer going on pretty almost 24/7. Not 24/7 quite yet, people will still sign up for that. And so what that means is that each, every week at a certain time, a certain day, we will be having prayer And so my slot is every Monday at 12 PM Eastern Standard Time. Um, we have prayer, um, and it's via Zoom. Um, anyone can join as an attendee or be a part of, you know, praying with us. And a lot of you guys, let me tell you, okay, it has been powerful. It has been nothing but pure fire. And so what are we praying for? We're praying for the nations, we're praying for our cities, we're praying for our children, our families. Um, the month theme for this month, for April, has been praying for the Seven Mountains, praying for, um, the, the government mountain, family mountain, um, praying for media mountain, I'm praying for, uh, I think it's three other ones, I can't think of it right now, but we've been praying for those, um, Seven Mountains. It's also on, um, the website as well if you go to awaken— awakeningprayerhubs.com. Yes, that's, it's been amazing. So I invite you, I invite you to join us. Um, don't be afraid. A lot of people are, uh, I guess you could say sometimes a little afraid to be in prayer with other people. Um, but once again, just, just come if you feel led to come. Just come, okay? Okay, um, also I know I, I've announced, uh, maybe a couple, 2 or 3 weeks ago that, um, the book that God, um, put on my heart to write is called Unashamed. And so Unashamed, um, is a book for the body of Christ, for those who are battling with shame. And the book is part 1, my testimony and sharing more about shame. Part 2 is about, um, strategy You're going to get strategy from me like you are my actual client when it comes to breaking the barriers of shame. And then part 3, I'm bringing in biblical references. And so the ebook part is finished. I just got the paperback in the mail earlier this week to look at it, make sure it printed out good, and make sure it looks good. And you guys, it's so beautiful. It's so amazing. Like, my husband was like so excited. He was like, oh my God, my wife is I'm a whole author out here in these streets. And my daughter, Mommy, look at you, there's you in the back of the book, that's you, that's you, that's you. And I'm like, yeah baby, that's Mommy, that's Mommy, that's me. And so, um, the book is an easy read. My husband has been reading it. Um, he didn't read, um, the original draft. He wanted to, you know, have it in his hand and, you know, read through it. So this week he's been at work on his breaks when he can get a chance to kind of go through it, give me any critiques about it before I actually fully pub— like fully publish it and make the actual book itself for, um, available for, for sale, for purchase. And so, um, so far he said, baby, this is so good. He said, I love the fact that it is like straight to the point, that it's not like— because you know, at this point I try my best not to ramble. If I'm rambling, it's for a reason. I'm, I'm going somewhere. But I like my words to have purpose. I don't like to keep people long if I can help it, but sometimes it, it does happen. Because it's so good. But, um, that will be available for purchase soon, so be on the lookout for that over the next, uh, 2 or 3 weeks, because the publishing company— it's them, it's not me— it takes a— it takes time for them to kind of get things printed and all that good stuff. Okay, so I'm working on that for, um, you guys. It's, it's gonna be— it's, it's an awesome book. You're gonna receive breakthrough. Um, also let me think what else I want to announce. I have one more thing, but I'mma wait, I'mma wait. That will be a surprise over the next 2 weeks, okay? So I'mma wait for that. Um, and so that's all I have for, um, a few updates, what's on my heart, where I am right now at this very moment. My name is Shakeeta Torres and I am here to continue the series on Little Warriors in a Bottle where I share a testimony per video about how God has healed either someone in my family, me, a friend, or even one of my clients, okay? And so today I'm going to share with you how God healed my daughter from bronchitis, okay? And so before I begin, I want to share a little bit about my daughter, her personality, and just, you know, how anointed she is at a very young age. So long story short, you know, my youngest daughter, um, she's my baby. I have two daughters, um, both of them are anointed in their own specific way. Their personalities are very different. One is an introvert, one's an out— um, one is an um, extroverts, but they both love God, okay? And so my youngest one is an extrovert. She's fiery. She loves to pray with me. She loves to worship with me. Um, she loves to read the Bible. She loves Jesus. It's just beautiful to see that she has her own relationship with God for herself, okay? She has blessed me so much by sharing with me what God is telling her, sharing with me her dreams and her visions. And you guys, she sees a lot. She sees a lot in the spiritual realm too. So with that being said, she gets attacked a lot. And when I say attacked a lot, like, you know, over the years she's gotten attacked with sickness, um, she got an attack, you know, through people a little bit here and there, but the people not as bad. But she actually gets attacked by full-blown demons sometimes, okay? She'll see it. She'll tell me, Mommy, or Mommy, in my dream, this demon, he keep harassing me or bullying me or chasing me and different things like that. So it's definitely a lot more spiritual. And so I I have to really, you know, pour into her, keep both of my girls covered, um, really minister to them as well because they are my seed. They are me and my husband's responsibility to, um, groom them and to show them the way to go. When I say groom, I mean groom them the way God wants us to, right? To disciple them as well. And so one, um, one particular, um, situation— because she's got— she's been through a lot, y'all. She had to heal from— she ended up getting sick Now my daughter, she has a very high tolerance for pain. So for, for an average person, let's say they say my pain from 1 to 10 is a 10, she might tell me it's a, it's a 5, okay? And I've seen her get hurt, I've seen her fall, I've seen so many different things. Me and my husband, we're just like, this girl is strong, she's strong. And so whenever I see her crying and weeping because she's in pain I know that she is hurting. I know that she is really, really going through, okay? And so one particular, um, day she's like, Mommy, my throat don't feel good, you know, um, I'm in pain, I'm hurting. And I'm like, okay. So as the day got progressive, like progressed through the day, she became sicker and sicker to the point where she was like weeping. And she was so weak. It happened fast, okay? And I began to say, oh my God, my baby is sick. Me and my husband was home, was late at night, and I was like, she gonna go to the hospital. But before she went, you know, she had a very high fever too. I put her in the bathtub. I took some of this oil which I had in an actual, like, my bottle, and I poured some of that oil, little oil in the bottle, into the bathtub with her. And I began to wash her. I began to pray over her. I began to speak healing over her. I began to, you know, ask God to intercede on her behalf, like, you know, let His Son Jesus Christ intercede for her, right? I began to go— I was going to war, okay? I was going to war over my baby. And so then after I prayed for her, washed her, you know, everything like that, my husband took her to the hospital, to the, um, to the emergency room, and they told her she had bronchitis. So they ended up giving her medication for bronchitis. So she came home, you know, we gave her the medicine, y'all, and she threw it up. She couldn't keep the medication down. And I'm like, how am I supposed to like give her medication and she's not able to keep it down. Now I'm a kind of person, I'm the believer that, you know, I definitely believe in healing and deliverance, but I also believe in making sure you do what you need to do in the natural for you to receive your healing and your breakthrough, right? Faith without works is dead. And so I'm not a, um, what's the word I'm looking for, irresponsible believer in that aspect. So, um, long story short, uh, we gave it to her again, she threw it up. Okay, so the next day when we woke up, she kept saying, oh, Mommy, I feel better. And we're like, are you— are you sure? She said, yeah, I feel better, Mommy. And you guys, God honored my prayers and he healed my baby. Now, I don't know a lot about bronchitis, okay? And actually, I should have went ahead and looked this up before I got on this video, but it's okay. It just came to my mind whenever I hit record. So I'mma put in here, how long does it take to heal from bronchitis? Hope I spelled that correctly, y'all. It said it takes about 2 weeks, but it may take long as 3 to 6 weeks to heal from bronchitis, y'all. If you go and you Google this right now on your phone, your— whatever, wherever you are, it says most people get over bronchitis in about 2 weeks, but it may take as long as 3 to 6 weeks to get better, y'all. And my baby, the very next day, felt 100%. She was eating, she wasn't in pain, she wasn't crying. Y'all might cry. Oh God, God is so good, y'all. He's so good. He's so good. So I would not be up here sharing about this oil if I haven't seen the effects of it on my own family and myself. So good. Thank you, God. Oh Lord. And the medication, once again, she wasn't able to drink it. We had a whole bottle of medication. They had actually added like flavor to it and everything, and she still couldn't hold it down. So we end up throwing it in the trash can. And she was healed in less than 24 hours. So anywho, you guys, Little Warriors in a Bottle. All it takes is faith as small as a mustard seed for you to see the effects of this oil in your life, whether it's spiritual, whether it's mental, whether you're praying for somebody else. And I'll share other testimonies and other videos as well about other people and how they share their story with me. So I just feel like praying. I'm gonna pray. So Father, I just thank you right now, God. I thank you, God, for this moment. I thank you, God, for reminding me, Lord God, and just, um, putting it on my heart to just research this out even more. Because after she was healed, I took it for what it was and I kept on going. Um, Father, I just thank you, Holy Spirit, God, for the person who's looking at this video right now. God, God, may you increase their faith, whether they buy the oil or not. Father, Father, that's not my concern. My concern is their soul, their faith, and their relationship with you. And so Father, I pray right now, God, that they will lean into you and not lean into their own understanding, Father, and not rely on law and physics, oh Lord God, to receive their healing, but to rely on you and believe in your word and be anchored in your word. And so, Father, I release healing right now, God, to your— to this person right now, God. Healing of their mind, healing of their body, healing over their spirit.
