Signs of the Great Tribulation Are Already Here | Prophetic Words

In this live-stream, Shakeeta Torres—who identifies as a therapist, life‑coach, and prophetic messenger—shares a word she says God gave her about the current state of the world. She explains how she receives prophetic words, then walks through an extended exegesis of Matthew 24 (and related Daniel passages), interpreting the text as evidence that the Church is presently in the Great Tribulation. She highlights contemporary signs—wars, rumors of wars, natural disasters, false messiahs, persecution, lawlessness—and ties them to the biblical timeline. Throughout, she urges listeners to prepare spiritually, test spirits, stay vigilant, and engage in a forthcoming “soul harvest.” She also announces the launch of a Christian Leadership Academy for equipping believers. The session ends with a communal prayer for discernment, protection, and evangelistic fruit.

There we go. Welcome to Instagram, welcome to Facebook, and on YouTube, and welcome back to those who will come back to see this live later. Okay, if you come back later, put in the comment section hashtag replay, hashtag replay. Um, tonight I'm just going to share— I'm not going to say it's a short message or a short teaching. Um, I'll be up here however long, um, the Lord sees fit, okay? But I'm gonna take my time. I'm gonna give you guys what God gave me, and then I will be done, okay? So again, um, for those of you who are new to me on social media, my name is Shakeeta Torres. I am a therapist, I'm a life coach, I wear many different hats. But tonight I'm coming to you as God's mouthpiece, um, and sharing with you all a prophetic word that he wanted me to share um, with what's going on actually today. But before I do that, I always share how I receive prophetic words from the Lord. For me, it helps my listeners to understand that for myself, I just don't show up on social media just giving random prophetic words, uh, just to be seen, just to be heard. But I come up here as an act of obedience. Okay, obedience to who God has called me to be, obedience, um, and also being a good steward over what he gives me, okay. And I'm not one who's up here every single day giving prophetic words, um, as well, um, but Thursday morning I was driving to work. I was in, you know, praise and worship, I was in prayer, um, you know, preparing for my day and all that good stuff. In the midst of me doing that, um, the Lord began to speak to me and he said, daughter, I have need of you. I said, oh, okay. I haven't given a prophetic word or given anything in, um, in this area of prophecy since about maybe about 10 weeks ago, okay? So I've been busy, you know, with so many other different things, and I know for a fact God was giving me a break and giving me time to find my balance again with working, my family, my kids going back to school, all of the above. So I thank God for that. I'm not complaining, okay? Um, and I said, okay God. He said, I want you to go live on Sunday at 8 PM. He said, go ahead and schedule it out. He said, I want you to put a demand on your mantle and a demand on your anointing. So there are times, like I said before, where I don't— I'm hearing from God in different ways all the time. That never stops for me. But to release it on a platform, um, I don't always feel led to do that. Um, but the Lord told me, at times you're gonna have to put a demand on yourself, meaning big, by faith, schedule this live to talk to your people, to his people, okay? And wait for him to give me the word. So you guys, that's what I did again this time. I scheduled it out on Thursday, uh, Thursday during my lunch break, and I scheduled it for today at 6— I mean, at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time. And I had no idea what God wanted me to say. No idea whatsoever. And so he also gave me other instructions too. Was like, this weekend really just pull back from our regular routine, uh, so I can really hear him. He told me things that I shouldn't be doing, okay, and what I should be doing, uh, a part of my routine. Nothing bad, nothing like that, right? Um, and so, um, this morning when I woke up, I said, okay God, let me get before you and just hear. I knew that I needed— I needed the whole day to really hear what he had to say and really get in scripture. And I thank God I did this morning, not the last minute, because I've been studying on and off all day, all day, and I still feel like there's still so much more for me to study, um, that I really want to get even more clarity on just for myself, okay? And so the Lord began to speak to me this morning. He said, many of my people are very, um, confused and overwhelmed about where we are, where we are now in the earth. There's so many people going forth with prophetic words, you know, um, people are saying, oh, Jesus is coming back soon, and yes, he is. But even I am very careful about saying that because I understand that every believer is not on the same level, and I understand that every person, you know, is growing in Christ. And so to me when you say that all the time, it can put a lot of fear in people and it can cause them to think, you know, kind of like operate in fear, okay? We all should fear the Lord and respect the Lord and honor God, but it should not be from a place where you're like stuck, um, where you can't move forward, where you can't do, you know, you can't really flow with the Holy Spirit, okay? So I'm the person that I don't put that out there like that. Um, it is a true statement, he is coming back soon. We have no idea the hour, the time, when. We should all be, be preparing our hearts and our minds to to, to receive, right, and to be able to make it. Okay, so, um, the very first word that I began to hear was, um, of course, you know, we don't know the hour or the time. And whenever God gives me words to release, it comes to me in different ways. It can be through a dream or vision. I can just be randomly reading scripture and then he'll highlight something to me and it's a word for the body of Christ. So, um, for this time it was just trickle of words that were coming in, um, for me. And I had to go in in scripture and I had to like Google, okay, where can I find this scripture at? Where can I find this? Where can I find that? So I felt like this time I had to not dig deeper, but, um, I really had to study, like really study these words, okay? Um, and so he took me to pretty much Matthew chapter 24. 4, okay? And before I get into it, the Lord wanted me to really share this. He said that when it comes to my scripture, please tell my people that I speak in parables, and they must have the Holy Spirit to understand and receive deeper revelation. Um, the word of God is not always black and white, and the word of God is layered, okay? You can read about this in John chapter 14, uh, where it talks about You know, the word of God, I always say it's like a river. It's always something you can learn from what you read yesterday or the day before, even last year. I, I look at my own journey and I can see over the years how I've come to understand, uh, certain scriptures more and more. And I still have so much to learn, you guys. I don't know everything. I'm not supposed to know everything. I'm not trying to learn everything because you can be, um, overwhelmed with too much knowledge. Too. So you have to go with God's pace, okay, with the Holy Spirit's pace. I did enter a season before in the past where I was reading everything, and God said, you need to slow down because you're going to choke yourself. Because I was, I was so hungry, I wanted to learn so much about the word of God, okay. And so I encourage you to do the same thing. Just take your time. Uh, if you hear someone give a word, make sure you go to the scriptures and just read it and say, God, help me to understand what they're saying. Help me to understand your word. And just like for tonight, whatever I say to you, definitely put it in the comment section if you need more clarity. And then also, um, you know, go back to the word of God and read it as well. So he took me to Matthew, um, I think 24. I guess 25 a few minutes ago. So Matthew 24, and it talks about, um, the destruction of the temple predicted. Now in this whole chapter here is talking about the different events that has to take place in the world before Christ returns, okay? And as I said earlier, we keep hearing these different things coming out saying he's here, he's coming, you know, all of the above. But in scripture, we're going to get into it, okay? And we're going to break it down, uh, so you can have more clarity on where we are at. And God was very clear to me tonight, or today, where we are at in the world. Okay, so let me go here, and as I'm reading the scripture, I'm going to break it down. Okay, so we look at verse 1 of chapter 24 in the book of Matthew. Once again, it says here, as Christ left and was going out of the temple, his disciples came up and called his attention to the buildings. He replied to them, do you see all these things? Truly I tell you, no one stone will be left here on, on another that will not be thrown down. So this is whenever Christ was here on Earth, okay? And so he is with the disciples, and, um, they're asking him all these questions, um, you know, they are walking towards the Mount of Olives. If you a person that like to have visuals, I encourage you to go to, um, scripture or Google, okay, show me a picture of the Mount of Olives for me. I do that a lot so that way I can really connect what the word of God is saying and really connect the scripture. It makes it really come alive, it really does, okay? Um, and so someone in the group referred to the temple, saying something about the building. So Christ responds with another dire statement about God's coming judgment on Israel. Okay, he says the temple will be destroyed, every brick displaced. History indicates that this prophecy was fulfilled in AD 70. Okay, so this prophecy here, you guys, is already being fulfilled later in verse— I believe it was 15. Okay, but I'm, I'm going there, give me a moment. And so I didn't realize, like, people argue about, you know, whether this already took place or not, but after I went and did my extensive study and looking at scripture, it has already happened. Like, that scripture has already been fulfilled, so we're past that point. Okay, that's not happening now, it's already happened before. Okay, so we now we have verse 3, all right, it's called the signs of the end of the age. While he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said, tell us when these things will happen and what is the sign of your coming and other end of the age. And then, um, Christ replied, he said this: Watch out that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name saying I am the Messiah, and they will deceive many. And this is happening now, okay? If you go to YouTube right now and you type in the description, um, who was the Messiah, or who's claiming to be the Messiah, I saw a whole bunch of people come up say that I'm the Messiah, I'm the chosen one, and that is not true. Okay, um, verse 6: You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet. Okay, for nation will rise up against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these events are the beginning of labor pains. So everything that I— right here is happening right now, but it is not the end of time, you guys. It's not the end of time, okay? Verse 9, okay, this is called persecutions predicted. Then they will hand you over to the persecuted and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of my name. Then many will fall away, betray one another, and hate one another. Many false prophets false prophets will rise up and deceive many. It's happening right now. Because lawlessness, which is a state of disorder due to disregard of the law, will multiply, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. Talking about physical, okay, not just spiritual but physical. Like, are you still here? Are you still present? Okay. This good news of the kingdom will be— will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations. And then the end will come. Okay, so the gospel has to reach all the nations. It's even arguments about that, saying that no, he doesn't mean all nations, it's a, you know, hyperbolic statement, and so much more. Okay, but the word is very clear here. Okay, and so when I read this, what came to mind for me once again is that, you know, he wants everyone to hear who he is, who he is, so that way none of us will have an excuse. He doesn't want anybody to perish. Period. He doesn't. Okay, this is also in Mark chapter 13 and verse 10. Okay, and I found a website called The Joshua Project, is an organization who has done research and ministry around this topic, talking about the different nations who have not been reached. And it's a lot, it's a whole lot. I didn't even know that myself. I said, wow, it has not. Okay. Not everyone has internet, you guys. They, they don't. So reading that article is very extensive. It's a whole site dedicated to just that, reaching the nation. It's called The Joshua Project. Okay, all right, so this is where like the meat of the word really like just really hit me. And so when I went, started reading, um, Matthew 24, verse 15, um, 15, I'm gonna read it first and I'm gonna tell you what God, what God said. All right, so when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel standing in the holy place, then those in Judea must flee to the mountains. A man on the housetop must not come down and get things out of his house, and a man in the field must go back to get his coat. Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days. Pray that your escape may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. I'mma stop there. So I had to go back and study this. Now this took me about an hour and a half, maybe two altogether. But you go to Daniel chapter 9, verses 24-27, it talks about the 70 times 7. Like, y'all, it's— it's— if you go read it and you don't understand like Hebrew and Greek and all that stuff, you're gonna get lost, okay? So in a nutshell, he is saying that there are certain things that has to happen and the number of years, it equals to like 483 years, okay? So I'm paraphrasing right now. You want to go and look into that, I encourage you to go watch, um, Jonathan Caine. He is really into, um, the New Testament and Old Testament. He's really good at pulling stuff together, okay? Um, I saw him before in person, by the way. He was amazing, okay? And so, and so pretty much it's already been fulfilled too, okay? So this is where God was like, this is where we are right now. We are in the Great Tribulation, y'all. Okay, so verse 21 says this: For at that time there will be great distress, the kind that hasn't taken place from the beginning of the world until now and never will again. Unless those days were cut short, no one will be saved. But those days will be cut short because of the elect. Okay, and so here, this is when the Lord— I mean, when I say the weight of God just feel on me, y'all, I, I just feel to my desk and I had to just wait for a moment and just like, I just feel God's like confirmation saying my people need to understand where we are at. We are in the Great Tribulation, and that is a short period of time where everyone will experience worldwide hardships, persecution, disasters, famine, war, pain, and suffering which will afflict all of creation. Precede judgment of all when the second coming takes place. My God. And so, you know, when I'm having to give words, I'm always asking God, help me to get out of what I think and really press into your mind, okay, so that I can get this thing right. And so he just began to remind me, you know, the past 2 years, y'all, the Lord has had me primarily, um, teach and tell you guys to prepare, right? Repent, right? Go before God, get your heart right. Right, you know, you know, do like making sure that you are in tune with him and all of the above. And this is why, because I remember, I remember at one point I kept saying, for what's ahead, for what's ahead, for what's ahead, y'all prepare. I didn't fully understand everything that was ahead, but this right here, this is what that pretty much means, okay? So we are entering into that, we're actually in it right now, okay? And so this is what it means here: for at that time there will be a great distress, the kind that hasn't taken place from the beginning of the world until the now and never will again. My God. Verse 22: Unless those days were cut short, no one would be saved. But those days will be cut short because of the elect. The elect is the believers, okay? Um, and so of course, you know, as we can see now, there is so much going on in the world. We gonna have these hurricanes, tornadoes, um, you know, everything going on in Israel. And even then, God said, tell my people to keep an eye on Israel, okay? When you look at Israel, like, God's always using Israel as a blueprint of what's to come or what's ahead as well. So look at what's going on with Israel when you get a chance, right? That's why we have to pray for Israel, because what happens to Israel directly affects, affects us over here who are in America, okay? It affects us as well, okay? Verse 23: If anyone tells you then, see 'See, here is the Messiah,' or 'Over here,' do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders and lead you astray, if possible even the elect. It says, take note, I have told you in advance. So if they tell you, 'See, he's in the wilderness,' don't go out. Or, 'See, he's in the storeroom,' do not believe it. Do not believe it, you guys, because I'ma keep reading in just a moment, but he's going to show us exactly what's going to happen and what to look for when he returns. Verse 27: For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever the carcass is, there the vultures will gather. Okay, my God. So now we're going into verse 29, the coming of the Son of Man. All right, and so we're not here yet. This is still future. This is still to come. We don't know when it's coming, okay, but God does. All right, 29. Immediately after the, after the distress of those days, meaning tribulation, okay, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not shed its light. The stars will fall from the sky and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. He will send out his angels with a loud trumpet, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. You guys, this hasn't happened. This has not happened. So this is for people who, you know, keep, keep saying like like the end time is here. I mean, yes, to a certain extent we are in the end time, but there's still so many things that have to take place before we actually reach that point. Okay, so verse 32, the parable of the fig tree. It says, learn this lesson from the fig tree: as soon as its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, recognize that he is near at the door. Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things takes place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Okay, and so pretty much when I read the parable of the fig tree, and I was reading it, it's very clear. When you see a fig tree, it says as soon as this branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near. So when you see these signs come, right, then you should know the crisis near as well. Okay, to me it was very easy to understand. All right, then verse 36 here: No one knows the day or hour. Now concerning that day and hour, no one knows, neither the angels of heaven nor the Son, and not even Christ himself know when he's coming except the Father alone. Okay, as the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be. For in those days before the flood, they were eating and drinking marrying and giving in marriage until the day Noah boarded the ark. They didn't know until the flood came and swept them all away. This is the way the coming of the Son of Man will be. Then two men will be in the field, one will be taken and one will be left. Two women will be grinding grain with a hand mill, one will be taken and one will be left. So right here, it talks about the Rapture, okay? Therefore be alert, since you don't know what day your Lord is coming. Okay, but know this: if the homeowner had known what time the thief was coming, he would have stayed alert and not let his house be broken into. This is why you are also to be ready, because the Son of Man is coming in an hour you do not expect. Okay, and so, you know, as I was reading this, you know, I think about those people who— they know God, they've heard of God, and they're just like, well, I'll give God my life after I sow my oats. I'll give God my life after I have, you know, done this or done that. Done this and do that. And you guys, I'm here to tell you right now, like, I don't advise that. Now, I'm not saying that you should play with God and be, you know, lukewarm or, you know, straddle the fence, okay? Salvation is a journey. Healing is a journey. Deliverance is a journey. But what I'm saying is, like, you know, give your life to Christ. Like, start there, okay? Salvation is a free gift for all of us, okay? Christ died for every single last one of us.. Okay, so you don't know the hour when they expect them. Okay, all right. So finally here, I want to read, um, it's one part and I'll be done. His faithful service to Christ, um, verse 45. Who then is a faithful and wise servant whom his master has put in charge of his household to give them food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom the master finds doing his job when he comes. Okay, so this is for those of you— keep plowing, keep, keep being obedient to God, right? Because you don't know, you know, when he's coming back. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But if the wicked servant says in his heart, my master is delayed— oh, he's, he ain't coming right now— and starts to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards, that master's— that servant's master will come on a day he does not expect him, in an hour he does not know. He will cut him into pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, which is the lake of fire. Okay, and so, you know, don't get comfortable. Don't be a person that says, okay, well, Christ, you know, is not here yet, so, you know, I do what I want to do up until I feel like he coming. Like, no, like, this should be a diligent walk with Christ. All right, and so once again, recap for those of you who coming on now, go back and watch the replay. This is not a very long word at all, I don't think, 25 minutes. Okay, awesome. Um, but you know, I just want to be obedient and do what God, um, has asked me to do in reference to this word. Um, but again, we are in the Great Tribulation. It's already— we've already entered into that. Okay, and so we're going to see more things that are coming up And but also on the flip side of that, I mean, make sure I let you guys, um, hear this too, is that we're having a soul harvest. Many people are going to come to Christ because of the things happening in this world. This is why God has been trying to prepare so many of us leaders, um, to be positioned to catch the sheep, right? To catch new converts, to catch, you know, the prodigal son, to catch the ones who, you know, have, have been led astray, right? Because we're going to be needed. We're going to be needed. All right, so we have to be prepared mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Okay, make sure you are in a community that's going to speak life into you, you speak life into them as well. And I'm not going to go into great detail with that, but, um, in the, you know, January, I'll be launching my Christian Leadership Academy. This is for leaders who, um, God is calling to launch out, or maybe you launched out and you have like retreated back, right? And so I won't go into all that tonight. I really want to keep it focused on the word of God, um, but I'll speak more about that in the weeks to come, okay? So I'm going to say a prayer, I'm going to pray us out, and that'll be it, okay? Before I do that, let me look at your comments up here, okay? All right, hello! My aunt came on tonight. Hey, Aunt Teresa! Um, and so Father, I just thank you for your word. I thank you, God, that you're such a good, good Father, God, to prepare us, to warn us. Father, Father, help us to be in tune with your heart, in tune with your voice. Father, help us, God, to test every spirit by the Spirit and not be, um, mesmerized by miracles, signs, and wonders, but to truly test the spirit to make sure that— to make sure that it's coming from you. Father, help us, God, to remain anchored, to remain steadfast, God, to continue, Lord God, to plow and complete our assignments. I pray, God, for those souls that are lost, um, Father, who are straying in the fence, trying to figure out what they should do. I pray, God, that they will come on in, come on in into the sheepfold, and truly give their lives to you, God, because serving you is an honor. Being a believer is an honor, God. I'm so grateful, Lord God, to be in this position for a time such as this, God. Hallelujah! To be able to minister to your people, God, and to be— and God, to continue me to share my story and my testimony, God, about how good you've been to me. And so, Father, I decree and declare that people who were listening will have the same testimony, Father. I know the enemy will try to fight them and keep them from coming to you, to keep them from serving you and trusting you, God. I thank you, God. Father, increase their faith, Lord. Help them to see, God, that you are, God, the Messiah. Your Son is the Messiah, Lord God, and you are the answer, God. God, you— nothing or no one can fill the void in our hearts like Christ King. Nobody. So God, I thank you again for your word. I thank you for your people who came up here tonight to listen. God bless them, Lord. I pray, God, that this word would reach those that it needs to be reached and that they would have understanding of your word. Christ's name I pray, amen. Amen. That's all I have for tonight, you guys. Thanks again for getting on. I really appreciate it. Um, those who have been praying for me today, I thank you as well. And I will see you guys next time. All right, bye.
