They need you more than you want you. They resist therapy, growth. I don't need help. I have you. What happens is you give years, they take years. You think you're helping, you're actually enabling them. And eventually they leave you for someone who doesn't try to fix them. Because broken people don't want to be fixed. They want to be accepted. And you can't accept them as they are. You're too busy trying to change them. So I need you to avoid them. I need you to run. I need you to not pass, go with them.
