And when I asked that question, when I reflected on it, where is the joy for me? Thinking about work and what I wanted my life to be about, I wrote in my journal this. I said, "I'm a voice for those who feel overwhelmed, discouraged, lost. My mission is to provide a place of refuge, to show them that refuge is available right here, right now, in this moment." And I went on to write in my journal, I thought that's— That's where joy is for me. That's what brings meaning to my life. And that's mine, that's not yours. What is that for you? Where is the joy? But when I look at that, I realize, you know, there's no mention of vocation in there. I mean, by vocation we could say, "Sure, I'm a speaker, I'm an author, I'm a coach, I'm a business owner." There's no mention of vocation there. Like, I thought I could show up— if I decided, "You know what? This just doesn't work for me anymore," I could show up and make copies at an office. And I could bring that same presence there. But then I also thought, you know what, if I'm gonna show up anywhere and bring that, I better start at home. Let me bring that to my family at home. And some days I do it better than others, but that's the mission, that's the vision, that's the clarity, that's how I wanna show up.
