So I want to show you how to create high-ticket products and services and start making money this week. So let's go over to the computer and I'll show you exactly how it's done. So part 1, or step 1 I should say, is that you really want to identify your mega niche. There are 3 mega niches: health, wealth or money, and relationships. So think about your expertise and what it is that you do. What is the thing that, that you're expert at or skilled at, and which of those mega niches does it fall into? It shouldn't probably take you very long to figure it out. There's going to be one of these 3 that really jumps out at you. You're like, oh, I'm, you know, if you're dating and relationship coach, then clearly you're in relationships. For me, I'm in video marketing. I am in wealth because I'm helping people to cash in on camera. The only reason I want you to really think about this quickly in terms of mega niche is just because this will be your guiding light. That you park at the back of your mind, but you always kind of know internally, this is the, the world that I live in. This is the overarching theme to what it is I'm really helping people with. Step number 2 is you're going to choose product or service at the outset. I would recommend that you start with a service, in other words, a coaching program before you start creating a course. Certainly, you can from the get-go create a course, but why a coaching program is beneficial to start with is because you do so much learning because you're in the trenches. You're actually working with people and observing the questions that they ask, the language that they use. This is really important intelligence for you so that you can create the best online course later on. So just my recommendation is that, again, if you're a coach, a consultant, a small business owner, and you're looking to create your own digital products and services at a high-ticket price point, that you start with a coaching program. I'm going to show you how to do that in this video. Step number 3 is you want to think about expert positioning. I'm actually going to steal a little bit from my, my own online course, actually, Uncover the Expert in You, because in my course we have a variety of different worksheets, and 2 of which are actually applicable to this video. One is the expert positioning and one is the brainstorming. So I have created worksheets for people who take my course, but you can actually do this on your own, whether you do it on a spreadsheet of your own on your computer. You could even just write this down in a good old-fashioned notebook, right? Doesn't have to be digital. But from an expert positioning standpoint, you want to think about what is your expertise specifically? What is your experience? What are your skills? Right? You want to outline that so that we can get that out on paper in terms of what your expert position— we need to figure out how are you going to be positioning yourself as what kind of expert specifically, sharing what kind of experience specifically, what skills do you have to add to the conversation. Step number 4 is brainstorm from the perspective of questions that people ask you. The lowest hanging fruit is going to be FAQs, frequently asked questions. What are the things that people ask you about all the time? And if you see a pattern and part of it is you just need to be aware and listening. But sometimes you'll be able to sit down and go, you know what? People ask me all the time how I make my videos or how do I stay so fit with 5 kids? You know, whatever that is, you want to be writing that down. So what are the FAQ? What are things that people ask you about all the time? And what are some observations that you can make about other people in your space and the things that they're teaching about?, right? Some observations. So, go out there and do a little bit of creeping on some people in your industry. And not for the purpose of emulating them, or imitating them, or comparing yourself. This is research from the perspective of what's out there. You need to be knowledgeable about what's in the marketplace. And also, what I call the request line. You can take note of what people have Maybe you already have a small audience. What are people asking you? It's kind of like FAQs, but it's, it's more like, hey, Cheryl, could you do a video on blank, blank, blank? You know, could you do a video on this? I'd love to know more about blank. Those are things that you need to be jotting down and really taking note of. Step number 5 is to systematize a process. So once you've done the brainstorming and the expert positioning, you're going to have a better understanding of the challenge, problem, or frustration that your people are facing? And how are you going to solve that for them? And in what chronological order will you solve it? So, you're going to want to identify your core steps. And then underneath that, some substeps for each of the core steps. Core steps are going to be more fundamental, larger view, whereas the substeps are really specific to get the result under each of those core steps. Write down a 1 to 3 paragraph synopsis emphasizing the outcomes of said coaching program or course. And so you really want to emphasize the outcomes here. You also want to identify the duration and the dates for this, what is essentially a beta program that you're going to be launching. Don't list the price, though, on any synopsis that you create at this point. Choose an outcome-based title. Now, titling is the thing that's going to throw you off. I know it. Think about what is the outcome and don't get too fancy and cute. Just be— because this is again for beginners. We're just trying to launch this thing. We want to pick an outcome-based title. Give it some time, you know, think about it. That's fine. But don't put it off for 3 weeks because you don't have the right title. This does not have to be perfect by any means. Step number 6 is now platform time. You're going to want to have a platform in which to facilitate this coaching program. It can be as simple as using a program or using a platform like Zoom. And just having, you know, Zoom calls for the duration of, let's say, 5 weeks. And you'll do the Zoom calls and you'll send them, you know, the link. But I want you to start making money right away. I want you to cash in on camera quickly here. So we need to find a way in order to get money. And so my recommendation is that— and I wish that I had joined Kajabi sooner than I did. This is a partner link that I'm going to share with you around this video for Kajabi. Why I recommend it is because it is an all-in-one platform that is fantastic for beginners because it helps you to do everything you need to do specifically around collecting money, right? Because it's all in that same platform for you and really simplified. It can get very complicated when you start to try to, like, cobble this, cobble that, this shopping cart to that merchant account to blah, blah, blah. It's just easier if you just do it this way. So this is a way that you can cap, get some money coming through the doors. Once you get into Kajabi, so you sign up, that's great. There are— there is a very robust system, but what I want you to do is use it in this manner. You will create a product. You're going to choose coaching program. You could choose a course as well. And what I really want you to do at this point is just use it as a placeholder. So I don't want you to start getting into the, into the nitty-gritty of it and going, oh no, now I got to start creating the pages and all the marketing. I wouldn't do that yet as a beginner. What I would do is I would create the product only because you need to create the offer, and then you create an offer and you're going to decide, I'm going to do this beta program for between, let's say, $500 or $997. You could do it for more or for less, but that would be a great starting point. So you need to have a product created in Kajabi in order to create the offer. So create the product, create the offer, and it's the offer link that you're gonna want to use once we get into some of these other steps. Okay, and again, I'm thinking about this from the perspective of growth and iteration and how you will eventually come back into Kajabi and it just— you're gonna add to it, add to it, add to it, and make it better and make it better and charge more and charge more, right? And get more people in and make more money. But this is the beginning stages of this. So number 7 is outreach. Now you're going to want to contact any existing followers or fans that you have. It could be through direct message, private, you know, DM, private message, text message. If you have email lists, if you, you know, if you don't have an email list or you're really kind of starting from scratch, scratch, then you could ask friends and family for some referrals to say, hey, this is what I'm doing. I want to find, you know, 5 people who I can help with said problem, and I'm going to teach this outcome-based thing, and I'm looking for 5 people to do it with me as I launch this beta program. I'm doing it at a really economical price because it's my, you know, it's my beta program. And then ask for friends and family for referrals. You could also direct message people, and I would suggest— here's the video strategist in me coming out— I would suggest that you send a little short video. Send a video to people. You'll blow their minds. First of all, you get way more attention. Send a quick video to somebody who, you know, you could direct message them and be like, hey, it's Cheryl here. Long time no talk. I am launching an amazing program. Step number 8 is to connect with people. You want to get on the phone. Now, there are booking systems like I use Calendly, for example. There's Acuity. You know, these are booking links that you can send to people. It's like, hey, book time on my calendar. If you've already got one of those, use it. But if you don't have one of those yet, you don't really need it just at the outset because really just looking for about 5 people. So you could just send people your phone number, right? Just like send them the phone number and you might have a little bit of back and forth. It's like, oh, are you available here? Are you available here? But for the number of people that you're trying to bring in, it may be doable. So you really are just trying to get some phone conversations in the books. So having those phone conversations and be upfront when you get Sally on the phone, you want to be upfront with them and you just say, listen, I'm launching a beta program. You know, as you know, I'm an expert at blank, blank, blank. I've been doing it for years and now I've decided I'm actually going to teach people how to get said result. So if you're interested, here's how it works. And I can even copy and paste this in a little paragraph or 3 about it right now on the phone with you. Can I do that? And then you can send it to them and say, so let's walk through this. What it is is blank, blank, blank, blank, blank. I'm doing it on these dates for this This is the duration. You're going to get X, Y, and Z result. I'm gonna be there to hold your hand through the process. We're doing it live. You're gonna get more in-person coaching through this program than probably any of my future programs, which will be at a higher price point. So you're really trying to sell them on the idea of get in at this rate, you're gonna get more for less. And if you can communicate that on the phone, you're going to get people signing up. So be upfront, say, "I'm launching a beta program." You will want to— if they say, "Yes, I'm totally in," you say, "Great, let me take down your credit card information. I'll process this for you. Don't worry, I've got it all. I'll take care of everything." You know, and you're really saying, like, I'm going to take care of you. I'm going to do all of it because you want to collect that information over the phone. You don't have any fancy marketing at this point. You don't want to be sending links and getting all techie with it. Keep it as analog as possible. Collect payment over the phone. Tell them you'll be processing it tonight and they'll be getting a receipt for it. And then they're also going to be getting the next steps on when the calls are and the invitation to join and exactly how to join. Then you'll go into Kajabi if you've set up an offer in Kajabi, and then you will manually go in and do that work. It's doable because you're only looking for 5 people. So it's not like you're doing 100 at this point. Later on, obviously, you're not going to do this manually. But right now, as a beginner, that's what you want to do. So then you can input that information into Kajabi. And then number 9, step number 9 is you're going to go into— I would recommend Zoom. Zoom is the easiest platform to use for this. I would go into Zoom And if you don't have an account, you'll create an account. So you're going to set up a recurring Zoom meeting based on the duration and dates you chose, and then you'll send, copy and paste that invitation, send it to the person after you've done their payment and it's gone through. You email them and confirm, ask them to confirm receipt of the email because you want to know that they received the information that you said that you would send. Okay, then once you do those calls, You record the Zoom call, right? Every single time you do a coaching program, you're gonna teach your material and you're going to record those calls. Now you've got the content that you can repurpose down the line. You've also got a lot of intelligence that you can use in terms of the language that the clients are using on those calls, and that is gold. Acquire even video testimonials at the end. So let's say it's a 5-week program. Well, at the end of 5 weeks, you can ask each and every one of the clients, What was your biggest takeaway from what you've accomplished? So those video testimonials then become the marketing foundation for the next iteration of your high-ticket products and services. I hope you've enjoyed this video. Please be sure to watch the other ones and subscribe to the channel, and I'll see you next week.
