Hi there, it's Sheryl Plouffe. I'm a video marketing strategist, and I want to show you today how to create a progress bar or a loading bar on your video in Camtasia. I've been playing around with this for the last day or so, trying to figure out how do I create or replicate or emulate a progress bar on the bottom of a video very much like Gary Vaynerchuk, you know, Gary Vee style. Here's what I discovered. I went in and what I did was I— let me just play this out in real time so you can see what it is I'm talking about. See this red bar at the bottom? It's playing out throughout the length of the actual video itself. Okay, so that's what I'm going to show you how to do. So I'm just going to— now here's my actual track, my video itself. And so what I'm doing is I'm overlaying this on top. So let me just Mark that out for a second and I'll show you the exact process that I did. So I went to annotations— this is in Camtasia, by the way— and I went to all of the different styles and I chose the one that is really just the simplest, kind of cleanest box, and I added that down on my timeline. Then I stretched that out throughout the entire length of the actual video clip. Now you can make this whatever color you want. So let's say, just let's say I'm making it, I'll make it my own color. I can go over here and change it into my own sort of magenta color. So you would just add your code or whatever you want. Okay, now what I'll do is I will make this a lot smaller. First of all, I'll take this text out because we don't want the text. I'm going to make this quite thin and I'm going to drag it out from end to end and dr— well, actually, hang on a second. It's easier if I go like this. There we go. And drag it out end to end because we don't want it to be too thick. So there it is at the bottom of the actual video now itself. Again, you can choose the thickness or what have you. And then what I'll do is I'll go over to, uh, let me see here, transitions, and I'm choosing slide right. So I take slide right and I place it on top of that particular annotation. And now what I'll do is I will drag that out to near the end, and I'm going to play it out and you'll see what happens. So here we are today. I'm at the Grow Your Biz. So there's the progress bar. Now what you'll want to do is just at the end of the video, you might need to just finesse this a little bit. Just to make it time out properly. So for example, if I'm here, does it time out to the— no, it doesn't. I'm gonna just bring this out a little bit further. So let's see if it— that's pretty close, or even right to the very end. Although I do have a fade here. That's pretty close. So you can either have it right to the end like that, or if you are adding another let's say another transition at the end, you'll just want to be mindful of that. So I think I like that. Let me just bring this out a little bit bigger. And have a great day. This is all lined up perfectly. Boom. So that's basically it. You can create a custom colored branded progress or loading bar at the bottom of your videos with Camtasia. I hope this serves you.
