4 Productivity Hacks How To Do More In Less Time

Dr Shiny Unsal breaks productivity into four domains: physical (combine routine tasks with learning), mental (chunking and a 6W1H model), emotional (self-observation and protected downtime), and financial (track spending in a spreadsheet). She argues these habits unlock potential and wellbeing.

4 productivity hacks to help you do more in less time. Combines the power of the mind with the wisdom of your heart, and it just helps you to unlock your potential. Hey everyone, welcome to my Shiny Minds Show. Hello everyone, my name is Shiny Unsal. I am the proud creator of Neuroshine technology, ICF-certified NLP and coach trainer, ICF-certified coach, and leadership professor at UCLA Extension. Today we're talking about productivity. Who doesn't want to be more productive, right? I do. So I'm hoping that you do too. So therefore, I put together 4 areas of our life and I am going to share some ideas how you can be even more productive and how you can achieve even more in those areas by spending even less time. Ready? Let's go. First area of your life is your physical life. So when you look at your physical life, now you're thinking, oh yes, I'm going to the gym, I'm exercising, I'm walking, I am being active, I'm using my body, I'm taking care of my health. And so you can do a little bit more. My idea for this area of your life is to combine activities. Tony Robbins calls it the NET time, no extra time. For example, you're cooking a meal, and when you're cooking a meal, guess what is available? You can listen, right? You can literally turn on a topic, a video, a podcast, and then you can start consuming that information as you are moving your body because your mind is available. Your consciousness doesn't you need to get involved that much, and that is going to help you to do more. Second area is your mental life. And we're talking about— when I talk about your mental life, I am talking about your intelligence, your education, your knowledge, and, you know, improving yourself. And I have two ideas to share with you in this area. The first one is called chunking. It is a very powerful NLP technique, and chunking is going to help you put whatever you need to learn and you need to remember in little chunks. You know, it just speaks for itself. It's chunking. So there are big chunks of things and there are small chunks of things. When you are able to tell your brain, okay, this is a big chunk item, remember this, This is a little detailed chunk, so, you know, put it on the side. That's what you can do, and you can literally organize your information and how they're going to be useful later on so that you can access them by using chunking. And of course, if you want to learn more about chunking, just click on this link. And the second idea is contextualizing. That is something that I created as part of my Neuroshine technology, when you look at things and situations and education and knowledge in a context, and the context is 6W1H, like what is it for, where is it, how is it, when is it, why is it, with whom is it. When you chunk things down and contextualize everything according to where they belong, it is absolutely going to boost your mental performance. Third area of your life that I would love to give you some ideas for is your emotional life. And I have two ideas to share with you. The very first one is for you to observe yourself. When you become an observer, from quantum physics, it's already been proven that you become more determined. For human psychology, when somebody is watching you, you become more certain, you become more active and more determined, and you represent matter in the quantum field. I know I'm going deep here, but I have a point. So in your emotional intelligence, when you observe yourself, how you react or how you defend or offend, you will be able to sit back and evaluate, oh, what did I just do? That observation is going to help you improve that area and you will be a lot more productive. And the second idea is for you to value me time. I'm talking about you spending time with you. If it means having long bubble baths or meditating under the sun or giving yourself the time to go shopping with friends, whatever that means, value me time and literally don't let it go. Don't trade it with anything else. Why? Because your emotions, your emotional wellbeing is directly related to the amount of positive emotions that you experience with yourself. And my last idea is going to be about your financial life. So when you look at your financial wellbeing, of course it is going to start with the money that you have in your bank and the materials that you're able to afford and the things that you want to do by using Money and financial tools. So my idea in this area is one, to track your spending and to track your saving. An easy way to do it is to have literally a Google Sheet that you go and track everything monthly on that Google Sheet, and then at the end of the month, go back and measure. Did I do How I was supposed to do. Did I keep within my budget or did I overspend? So if you're an overspender, then you know your pattern and you can behave accordingly. And the second idea is make it a game. It is absolutely much more fun when you look at your financial life as a game. Literally, sometimes I tell my clients when I coach them, listen, we can, we can make it a game and then we can literally look at this area of your life as a game. So you're going to play a game not to spend a dime, right? You're going to go to a grocery store, you're going to go to a restaurant, you're going to go to do this and do that and spend this much money. And other than that, you're going to play no spending game. So whatever it means and however it shows up in your life, you can actually create more games around it. But that is my idea. So there you have it. 4 areas and some productivity hacks for your life. I hope you liked this video. If you did, please put a like on it and share with your friends, and together we can be a lot more productive. And of course, subscribe to my channel. Why wouldn't you? You're gonna be more productive and you're gonna have a shiny mind in the end. And you know what the ultimate goal is? You and I, we're going to maximize our potential and we're going to create a much better world With more love and shiny minds.
