EP 67 - The 3 Reasons Traditional Coaching Schools Are Falling Behind

Why traditional coaching schools are failing the new wave of truth, and if you want to become a coach, what you must do about it. Let's begin. Are you ready to shine? Come on, it's the shiny one. Today I am coming to you after having worked for more than 15 years certifying NLP practitioners, master practitioners, Neuroshine Technology coaches and coaches who received their world-class accreditations from the International Coaching Federation, just like myself, at the ACC, PCC, MCC levels. And I want to break down what is going on in today's world. And if you want to become a coach, what you need to pay attention. These are crucial, especially if you are someone like me who is transitioning from the corporate world to your own coaching business. I am going to share 3 reasons why traditional coaching schools are failing the new wave of truth and how you need to approach this new wave and what you need to do about it if you want to stay above the crowd and if you want to establish yourself as a strong personal brand and a business that serves not only your clients, but the entire humanity. Number 1, traditional coaching schools are going to teach you only the skills. It's all logic. ICF gives us as coaching educator providers, schools, documents that we need to teach and we need to equip our students with because those are the gold standard core competencies, coaching skills. ICF takes care of all the documentation. And if you are a coaching school, what you need is specifically that documentation from the ICF. And then you can create an entire curriculum based on those requirements and then those skill sets. And then you can create a program that is going to serve your coaching students because their end goal is to become a certified coach. It's super easy. Anybody can do that if they are skilled at the emotional intelligence and social intelligence. Skills and leadership skills and communication skills. You see, these are all skills. Although they are soft skills, I can break them down to you because I created my own leadership communication strategies class, my own entire curriculum as part of my time as a faculty at UCLA. I created my own emotional intelligence curriculum, again, as part of my authorship at UCLA Extension. I know how to create curriculums. I know how to take someone from nothing to almost everything that they want to receive. It's curriculum design. And that is so easy for a traditional coaching school. Okay, I have the documentation. I can go ahead and prepare my own curriculum. I don't need anything else. I don't need to put my own magic into it. I just want to create a business. You getting this? There are so many schools like that, and unfortunately, even the ones that I have attended were somewhat like this. Unfortunately, I am filtering out obviously from my own perspective. Everybody has their own perspectives, their own truth about their experience. The reason why you must be very careful about selecting your coaching school is because what you put into your mind, into your neurons, are going to shape the rest of your life, the rest of your career. If you only want to learn the skills, by all means, go ahead. If that's what you want, that is going to serve you. But let me speak to the ones who know that they want more from their coaching education. If you want more than logic, if you want a little bit of magic, then you must be super careful in selecting the curriculum. If there is nothing more than skills, if there is nothing energy-related, quantum integration, breaking down the energy alignment between you and your client, what is really going on at the energetic level, the mechanics of the entire relationship. If your school is not able to break it down to you energetically, come on, we are in 2026. You're not going to get any magic from that school. Again, if you only want skills, go ahead. If you want only logic, go ahead. But if you want a little bit of magic, be careful. In our classes at the Academy of Neuroshine Technology, when we are teaching ICF core competencies, we make sure we go behind the gold standard core competencies and then we break down the energetic components of that skill, how somebody needs to change their entire operating system, the nervous system. We break it down with science and then we also bring some magic with the science because there's quantum physics, there is metaphysics, there is cosmology, there is even sacred geometry that we bring to our classes to break down core competencies, coaching skills because you're not a robot in our perspective. You're a human, you're an entire system, and we want you to know yourself like never before. That is the goal. The second reason why you must pay attention to choosing your own coaching schools and why traditional schools are failing to catch up with the new wave of truth is because there is a huge difference. There is an entire universe between certified versus activated. Anybody can get the certification, right? If you really put your mind into it, you focus on it, you study it, you use the intellect part of your system, your entire operating system, and you look at the exam questions and then you answer them correctly, you pass, you're certified, right? It's not that complicated versus If you want to be activated, that's a whole level of being. And that's exactly what we do at the Academy of Neuroshine Technology. Other schools are going to give you the certification. They are going to give you the logical steps of coaching a client and then why you need to listen at a certain level and obviously understand the skills, but it is in a framework, very limited. To what I call the 3D world. They, they can't, they won't go out of their limited way of teaching because if the curriculum designer does not have the bandwidth, the vision to create the curriculum to serve more than just certification, if the curriculum designer did not have the activation in mind, Do not expect that from traditional coaching schools. You're going to get certified, but you're not going to get activated. If you want to get certified, if that's only what you want, go ahead. Okay, by all means. I'm here to show you another level. And that level is you don't only use that only one part of your being, which is the intellect. You use instead your entire nervous system. You use your mind, your heart, your gut, your energy centers, and even the way that you see things and you become aware of everything and then you apply it into your own life. Because in the world of Academy of Neuroshine Technology, we don't teach or certify coaches. We awaken conscious leaders. We activate them. We activate the sleeping purpose that they have inside of them. We love them to the core of their being, and we certainly wake them up. They wake up to their own truth. The third reason why traditional coaching schools are failing the new wave of truth is because they are dismissing the dark mind, the dark side, the shadow side. You know how you go to a weekend workshop, you attend a training, and you feel like, oh, okay, I'm attending, so I'm learning. That's enough, right? Well, if you want to become a coach, that is not enough. But yet, unfortunately, that's what traditional coaching schools are. How do I know? I have been to them myself as part of my own training. I never remember a part where I was invited to work on my own shadows. I was never invited to look at my, my own dark side. And that is a problem. Because it's so dismissal. We are in 2026. People are waking up. People are conscious. And we need to be at a level to integrate our entire being. We need to be at a level to absolutely own our truth with the full spectrum of it. There is no such thing that you are only light, you're only love. No. That couldn't be farther away from the truth. We are everything. We are all the colors in the rainbow, including black. Because when the sun sets, guess what we don't have? Yep, the light. When you don't have the light, you are in the dark, and then you have it inside of you. Because the universe is living inside of us, we also project that darkness, the dark side of us. Traditional coaching schools, unfortunately, are not going to hold your hands to face your own shadows, to look in the mirror and see the darkness. Because you need to look at the mirror to realize, oh, I can't see it clearly because it's almost like too dark. I need some light. You turn on the light. When you turn on the light, you literally have the courage to face your shortcomings, your limitations, perhaps your own judgments, your own dark side. It is okay to accept that you have a dark side. It is actually a big problem if you are dismissing the fact that you never have a dark side. That is the real problem that we are facing in the world. We are so afraid of calling out the dark side, the shadow, the part that we really need to own. And that is the problem that I see in the world, especially with the traditional coaching schools. And that's exactly why you must be extremely careful where you're going, what you're doing, and why. If you want to work truly deeply with yourself, if you want to become your best self, you cannot ignore your dark side. It's actually so much better if you face it sooner than later, right? Because then you have to face it, you can integrate and you can move on with it. Because we have so many parts that we are not going to like. I promise you, having been in this personal development industry, I can tell you that I am still in my own path Facing my own shadows, facing my own limitations, facing my own perhaps unintegrated parts. It's a never-ending work, inner work. This is the work that we're going to do for the rest of our lives, perhaps many, many lifetimes. That's why there is no point in dismissing, in denying or ignoring or running away and escaping from it. There is no need for that. You will have to face it at some point if you want to become your best self. That is the highlight, the keyword. You know what? Sometimes I do the wrong things and inappropriate things, and that's okay. You accept it. Acceptance is one of the highest frequencies in the entire universe, and that's exactly the energetic alignment I'm talking about. We break it down to you in terms of the consciousness spectrum.
