In this monologue Dr. Shiny Unsal outlines a framework for cultivating coaching presence that fosters safety, trust, and transformation in clients. She begins by emphasizing the importance of starting every session with genuine acknowledgement—phrases that signal the client is seen, heard, and appreciated—to calm the client’s amygdala and establish a secure environment. She then stresses the role of repetition, likening the brain to a neural network that requires repeated activation to strengthen new pathways. Teaching the material to oneself or others is presented as a powerful learning tool. Dr. Unsal introduces quantum metaphors, describing the observer effect and entanglement as ways coaches and clients co‑create reality and maintain deep connection. Finally, she presents the “shiny mind principle,” warning that a coach’s energy, diet, information intake, and relationships imprint on their consciousness and therefore must be managed carefully. Throughout, she weaves themes of unconditional love, gratitude, curiosity, and non‑judgmental holding as catalysts for elevating consciousness and facilitating transformation.

Dear client, I can totally relate to what you're saying and what feels out of alignment. This is the formula to demonstrate your presence in your coaching sessions. You always want to start with the acknowledgement. Cultivating trust and safety Is cousins with maintaining coaching presence. So that's why you always want to start with acknowledgement. And I cannot tell you enough about this because it's the amygdala. You know, amygdala needs to be like wrapped around your warm hugs. Okay, your client's amygdala. You want to just understand the amygdala needs safety and safety starts. with being seen, heard, appreciated. That's why we are starting with our sentences about, oh, I can totally relate. Oh, I hear you. Oh, I see what you're saying. Oh, I can understand that. Anything that acknowledges where they are is delicious. Okay, I now acknowledged you. And then now I am going to coach you to your highest self so that you can just remember The problem is just teeny tiny with everything that you bring at the highest level. So that's what we're going to do. Always pay attention to your own style. Observe yourself because you're going to need that clarity in order to bring it to your discovery calls. You know what it means to bring unconditional love and gratitude and curiosity to your sessions? It means the entire world shifting to a higher level of consciousness. And literally making people pray. Like, it's precious. It's so precious. And then you are holding them nonjudgmental. Trust that you're gonna remember exactly what you need to remember. Okay, that's number one. The second thing is repetition is the queen of every skill. Remember those neurons? They need to just keep meeting. They need to keep talking. They need to keep expanding their own network. So you're basically creating a neural network in your brain, and they, they need repetition. Like, repeat. Third recommendation, share it. Teach it to yourself or teach it to somebody. The basic way that you learn something is when you teach it. And remember the quantum observer effect that we shared before? Until you observe, everything is a possibility. Now that we know that until we observe something, until you put your mind, your attention onto something, everything is a possibility in the universe. And when you include that kind of quantum science with the fact that quantum entanglement is actually a part of this whole theorem is what makes us understand the incredible work we are doing as a coach. Once you And your client are entangled. Once you begin observing your client, guess what? You are always going to have this kind of entanglement. It's with everything that we interact with. That's why the shiny mind principle is so important. Be careful what you are interacting with. Be careful with all the information that you are entangled with. The energy stays. The food that you are taking, the information you're consuming, the people that are around you, they're all leaving their marks on you. And that's why you probably heard the saying, you are who you hang out with.
