How Do I Find The Right Coach

Dr Shiny Unsal walks through three steps for finding a coach: clarify your goals first, interview at least three candidates about their experience and referrals, then verify ICF certification. The ICF pathway requires 100 hours of coaching, 10 hours of mentorship, recorded session review, and passing an exam.
My name is Shiny Unsal. I am the proud creator of Neuroshine Technology, your Neuroshine Coach, an ICF certified coach, and also an ICF approved coach trainer. Are you ready to shine?
Come on, it's the shiny one.
You got this.
If you wanna go, go.
How do I find the right coach? My 7-day NLP and coach certification trainings are fully approved by International Coaching Federation. Whoever finishes the 7-day training successfully, they get to call themselves a coach. Here are my 3 tips for you to find the right coach for you. Number 1, absolutely become clear about your goals. What do you want to achieve by working with a coach? What kind of outcomes you are going to get working with a coach and how are you going to measure these outcomes? Please become very specific about your goals. Number 2, interview minimum 3 coaches. Interview them, ask their experience, ask their specialty, and maybe talk to some of their clients as referral. Just make sure that you know who they are and if you are a good match with them, okay? And number 3 is make sure they hold ICF credential. Why is it important? In order to become an ICF certified coach, this was the first step. After the training, they still need to go ahead and serve a minimum 100 hours. As a coach and get the experience. After they get that 100 hours of experience, now it is time for working with a mentor coach. After they work with a mentor coach for 10 hours for the duration of 3 months, now they need to submit 2 recordings of their coaching sessions so that they can be screened according to their coaching competencies. ICF screens all the coaches before they get certified, and if they have those core competencies, they also need to pass the exam. And after they pass the exam, now they are in the process of getting certified and credentialed by International Coaching Federation. So with going through all these specific processes, ICF certified coaches are committed to professional excellence. So you can expect world-class service when you are working with an ICF certified coach. You might wanna check ICF's website where they have ICF credentialed coach finder, and you can basically search the qualifications, the skills, the location, and demographics of the coaches that can work with you. So I hope this information served you, and I hope you can go out there and find the right coach for yourself to become more and achieve more.
