Did you know that there are notary jobs that you can do that pay you two to five times more than just being a general notary? There are a lot of people don't stay in this business because they don't know where the money resides. And that is super important, dear friend. You have to know where to get the money. So one of those jobs is becoming a loan signing agent. It's also Paul notary public loan signing agent. They're kind of the same word in the industry. They mean the same thing. The difference between a general notary and a loan signing agent is that a loan signing agent has the ability to process mortgage related documents. Now regarding mortgage related documents, it's real estate related. Any document that's real estate related. That's exactly what I'm talking about. So a loan signing agent will process real estate related documents for clients either at their home, office, school, any location they want. They were normally hired by title companies. Real estate agents often refer them to title companies and signing services. So you have a lot of signing services then will hire you to work with people that they built relationships with. Most of the time those people or those companies are title companies. And that's one way to get to the real money. See, if you want to do this full time, you gotta figure out how to get to the real money in this business. Being a notary public loan signing agent is one of the ways. Now I tell all of my people you need at least three ways as a notary to make money because you don't want to be in a position where you are relying just on one way. You need at least three. So my three are I process general notary documents and a general notary document is a power of attorney, an affidavit. Somebody brings you a letter that has an uterial language on it and wants you to notarize that document. That's general notary. It's one page. They had a piece of paper, you know, arise it, put it in your journal and go. Loan signings, right? So I can general notary, I do loan signings and I also process apostille documents. But there are tons of businesses, right, that you can do as a freaking notary. And I'm going to share my next video. The jobs that pay the most money as a notary. You see there's a lot of opportunity here, whole lot. Because you can not only do that job, but there are ancillary services that you can offer to your clients to make more money. You know, when you go through the grocery Store. And you walk in and in the aisle you see the gum, the tweaks, the magazines. On this side you see the, the beef jerky. That's what you have to do in business. You got to pile up some services. So keep in mind when you cannot just do one thing, you can do general notary, you can do loan signings and you can pick one other thing that fill a space. Because as a loan signing agent, it's kind of cyclical, right? It goes along with the real estate market. So if the market is, let's say, slowest at the beginning of the year, this is just an example, market is slowest at the beginning of the year, then you won't have as much business as a loan signing agent. The actual slow time though in this business is around between August to September, October it starts picking up. But what are you gonna do in that slow time between August. That's her exactly. You gotta have some more stuff to do. As an. Only now you could do more general notary work and charge, and I'll talk about that too. Or you can have one of the other specialties that I'm going to tell you about in another video. A lot of people have the misconception, tall misconception that you can only charge what the state says. However, you do have to charge that when you stamp the paper. So every time you stamp that paper, you charge what the state tells you to charge. You can also charge an admin fee, you can also charge a processing fee and you can charge travel fees. That's how you increase your price. So say for instance, I'm going to a hospital because I live in a hospital district. I'm going to a hospital. When I scan up that paper, that's $10. But there is a lot of processing that goes on. And admin that goes on when you're dealing with somebody in the hospital. Or one, you gotta pay for parking. Two, you gotta find where you're going because they have no clue of where they are. Nine times outta the freaking nine. Then you have to be patient with them because they're sick, right? So when I go to hospitals, normally I charge at least $100. Cause I know I'm gonna be there for a long time. Does that make sense? So you can make money even as a general notary, but still, loan signings, they pay more a lot of the time. Especially when you get your own relationships with the title companies or you build relationships with real estate agents and you become their preferred person. You see, in this business we have to teach real estate agents how to deal with notaries. Okay. And I'm going to teach you that also in another video. But I hope this video helped. Let me know, write in the comments any questions that you may have, any concerns. Let me know in the comments. And. And I'm going to see you in the very next video. God bless.
