Dan Martell stopped a founder mid-pitch and reframed OnSpark from a "Tinder for founders" into a partnership operating system. That single conversation reshaped the product, pricing, and go-to-market strategy, leading to a $100,000 performance guarantee: full refund if subscribers don't get the promised value.

Most people will validate a smaller version of your idea. It's safer. Dan does the total opposite. He consistently pushes the frame larger and then he holds you accountable to that bigger version. There are very specific conversations that I think about often. Early in the build, I was describing OnSpark as a matchmaking service, like a Tinder for founders. And Dan stopped me mid-sentence and he's like, this is not a service, it's an infrastructure. And that partnership operating system came out of those conversations. And that one reframe really changed how we designed the product, how we priced it, how we sold it with this results as a service model with $100,000 performance guarantee for our subscribers, where we're going to make sure that you're deriving the value or we're just going to refund you your subscription fees. That stuff all came from just this one reframe of Dan showing me exactly what this could be bigger than I could have imagined.
