Smaller startups adopt AI technologies in months while large incumbents take five to ten years. This speed compounds into advantages: better cash flow, capital efficiency, and R&D investment that lets small companies outgrow slower competitors.

Obviously you need culture set from the top, but I think there's an inverse relationship between adoption of AI within the business and the size of the company. Which, if that is correct, it means smaller startups, which will adopt this technology faster, have yet another advantage over the incumbents they're going after because incumbents take 5 or 10 years to do this, but they'll do it this year and next and the year after, and it'll compound. And they will throw off more cash flow than they would elsewise, or be more capital intensive, be able to invest in even more R&D than they could elsewise, and grow stronger and more robustly.
