People trust unedited videos of real moments over polished content because they want genuine connection with creators. Authentic videos build loyal fans who voluntarily share the work with their networks, amplifying reach far beyond what paid promotion could achieve.
I'm realizing from like feedback I get, like it is the videos I post of me going out with my friends that I don't even think 2 seconds of do so much better than the ones that I spend an hour editing.
People want connection ultimately. They want to feel like that they know you and you've got the luxury and not by luck, you've worked hard at it over a period of time, but being able to maintain who you are and share that experience allows people to connect with you way beyond the product as well. And again, going back to founders, it's how do you find the loyal people that are almost become your, like, informal ambassadors. I guarantee you've got people that are proactively just taking your stuff to their friends, sharing it because they're passionate about it. I've connected with you or with your art, and they're the champions on the ground that allow you to be much bigger than you could ever be by yourself.
I think it's— yeah, it's just, it stemmed from being, like, authentic and just sharing my life.
