TikTok has shifted from polished videos to raw, unfiltered content that feels like a real-time FaceTime call. Audiences want to see behind-the-scenes moments and candid interactions, not heavily edited material. Showing up uncut and spontaneous now outperforms the content you spend an hour perfecting.

when I would say like last year, the beginning of last year, brands and I think the, the app, like specifically TikTok, really promoted content that was very high quality, very just like cut and beautiful and nice. And now that's completely shifting to just people wanna see real people. Like I said before, like people wanna see you on the phone like they were FaceTiming you. So I think that's a huge part. And would be such a help if you're looking to build a personal brand is really showing that like uncut, unfiltered side of you because people are nosy. They wanna see like behind the brand. They wanna see what you look like when you wake up. And yeah, so I think it's definitely changed from like very high quality, high def content to now just like posts. Maybe not like everything, obviously there's still thought behind it, but a lot more of just that like spontaneity is like received well.
